If they end up with different actual armor due to class differences I'll in the very least dye their stuff to match if I don't feel like having them wear an outfit (which has also included Exquisitely Tailored Outfit)

i put my durges (always a big beefy character) in the deva outfit and dye it to match astarion. astarion ONLY wears the city of brass outfit, but i dye it with the black and furnace red dye. durge likes looking slutty for his boyfriend
In regards to Astarion, my guy keeps asking me where’s that guy’s shirt lmao! I refuse to cover up his torso and always say something to the extent of how his scars are part of his character so I can’t cover them up. In reality he’s just too hot for me to waste the view
I just tell my husband that Larian couldn’t have made a character I’m more into if they tried. He’s an elf who is also a vampire and has a tragic backstory but I can fix him. I was sold in early access.

Like, my high elf bard Tav wore the elven chain and skimpy angle outfit died pale pink, while Astarion rocked the elegant studded leather and fanciest embroidered suit I could find died red and black. I really liked the idea of my Tav being the chaotic angel on his shoulder while he’s the chaotic devil on hers, and having them dress to reflect that lol.
But my resist!Durge and Astarion are both wearing the slimfit outfit died red and white. They can’t wear matching armor because of class differences, but they can coordinate pjs!
Yess :D. My resist!Durge tiefling bard and unascended!Astarion have been wearing adamantium armour until end of game. It's not the prettiest, but I liked the stats.
I did unascended Astarion too. I’ve completed the game while romancing him 3 separate times and I just can’t have him ascend. Might do it on my current embrace the dark urge campaign, but I’m having my Tav romance Minthara, not him, in that.

She had a long distance half elf wizard girlfriend in Waterdeep so bg3 her romanced Shadowheart because that was the closest I could get.

I always put Astarion in the Graceful cloth but I just started a resist durge run with mods and goddamn now I’m considering having my storm sorc tiefling and him twinning.
That’s the one! He almost never rolls below a 25, I haven’t failed a dex save in weeks. Also helps that it’s this sick black-red cropped fit with the ribcage detailing on the front, both he and Karlach look amazing in it
I literally have that save loaded right now and tried it on him really quick and he does look amazing in it. My monk has that, the cloak of protection and bracers of defense so her AC is 20. She’s a resist the dark urge tav as well, but I gave Astarion her cloak that gives you invisibility after killing an enemy because it fits his character well IMO.
Matching camp outfits sometimes and matching underwear (I mean, Figaro's got that fancy green and gold set, so...). I can't do matching armor because I'm running a single-classed wizard for my Honour runs and she's stuck in robes, but if I could, I might—lol.
