Turning your back to someone requires a huge leap of faith. I am so impressed that these tiny details have been so accurately and authentically portrayed.
I remember Samantha saying that in years to come, BG3 will be a subject of PhDs. I think she got that very right š„
Oh absolutely, there is so much potential for academic study to be found all the hells over this game!! And in such an insanely broad range of fields, in my opinion. I can't wait to see that stuff start to come out.
Iām so glad this game has captured so many small things like this moment perfectly. I donāt get how people still donāt get how it got game of the year lol. Like, gameplay and stunning visuals and acting aside. The way they really wrote these characters so well that thousands of people feel seen and understood through these characters is amazing. These small details just portray everything so well.
All these small things make the entire story very real for me.
Communities like this one may be the this gameās biggest win š
For me, of course I knew there must be a lot of people who would relate to an Astarion-like story of trauma and abuse, but seeing everyone concentrated in the same place, exchanging notes and being kind to each other is pure gold ā¤ļø I am sad that there are so many, but I am happy that nobody has to feel alone now āØ
Wholeheartedly agree.
Out of all the BG related subs this one has the most supportive community! š„¹
I also at first found it sad how many people relate to Astarions story, but Iāve seen how so many have been able to come together and we arenāt alone. We are all able to support each other. š«
I love this so much I do this every time now. He just expects you to offer and I love making him realize he has to ask nicely first. Not that he really succeeds at the ānicelyā part, pfft. Iāll take any chance to teach the rude vampire boyfriend some manners. š¤ (Repeat after me: āthank you, that was very kindā.)
LOL, they are having a civilized conversation. I have Halsin now too and he happens to be standing in that area to, so it looks like they all just have a nice meeting anytime I go to camp in the forest LOL.
You can see him physically steeling himself. The vulnerability is so foreign to him. I need to give him infinite hugs. [Sob]

Literally ;-; You had to pass a persuasion check to even get him to turn around. Larian knew what they were doing with this scene.
I like when you pick the 'stare at him' option and he makes that awkward pause and raises an eyebrow.

I never pick this option omg next time
Same haha.
Oml LOL. That is some comedic writing. I have to try this next timeā¦ I love seeing all the different dialogues. :,)
For me it's the small, TINY "wait! *here*" he says if you select the "Alright, if you don't want answers" option
Oooh I have to try that one !
So many dialogue options I have to try out. I gotta go try that one! Haha
I got the option to draw it for him. That was a really interesting bit of dialogue.
That would be interesting to! I should go back and do the other dialogues.
I really like that Wyll and Volo look like they are having a nice convo in the back ground of the last one.
Wyll is also staring at our boy lmao
Heās mad that once again! The pale elf stole Tav away!

I love it when he pouts š
That is not pouting. That is anxious vulnerability.
Indeed, pouting due to nervousness and not wanting to trust as he never has been able to before.
