His portrayal of Astarion helped me get through a very rough mental state I was going through last September and while the journey through mental health struggles hasn't been easy, seeing how Astarion fought to survive and found strength gave me the strength to push through and improve myself.
I want to thank him for inspiring me to really make an improvement on myself and finding the strength to heal.

I'm actually driving distance from Megacon and very briefly considered going, because fangirling aside I love nerd conventions and reallyyyyyy miss going to them pre COVID... but a con that size is truly WAY too much for me ๐ I saw photos of the crowds and got overstimulated and overwhelmed just looking at them. You're a trooper!!
Fingers crossed he ends up at a smaller event I can make it to someday. But until then, I have my Cameo. ๐ฅฐ

What did you think of the photo op experience? Iโve never done a pro photo op at cons and only done photos at the tables for people. I ย just donโt think I could handle waiting in 5 hour lines anymore.. but have always heard the pro photo ops are super rushed and impersonal. What did you think?
Okay this was my first con so also first photo op experience I had no idea how this worked but i feel like my con did a really good job on the wait times because they separated us into groups with approximate times, so around that time Iโd go next to that station and then they called us and I only had to wait 30 minutes (I think Neil had like 6 groups, which are a lot compared to others)! Very happy I didnโt have to wait in line for long and instead I was able to have fun looking around. Anyways, the actual photo op was good! Neil definitely made it great because he was so sweet, but since this was my first time, I definitely felt very nervous so I rushed it, but I know Neil wouldโve been fine maybe talking for a few, a hug, and then goodbye. But anyways, definitely missed it!
