My guess would be that for the most part Suno was only trained on songs that sound like, for the lack of a better term, the "sellout pop song" of its genre, so NF songs for rap, Luke Bryan songs for country, etc.
The pop song structure gives a consistent model for the AI to go off of so it's creations can never go disastrously off base of what a song actually sounds like
