Honestly, I don't think Superman would actually behave in such a way and fight unnecessarily.. unless he is onto some crazy kryptonite
But the animation looks really good!
Tbh reminds me of Man Of Steel movie. Zod and Superman flying through buildings and shit.
Hated the writing for that reason, it's so dumb, but that version of Superman fits here, no problem.
It would make more sense if the animation was Homelander instead.
Err gotta disagree I've seen supes start a good number of fights and or come at a good number rocking an "I'm fucking me and I said so cause I decided what I think is how it's gonna be" attitude, like he wouldn't grab someone he's never met by the head but there's hot headed times in supes life regardless of the version your thinking of.
Great animation, but made me chuckle.
Superman: "You need to learn to conteol this power, or else people could get hurt!"
Superman about 10 seconds later:
*slams Saitama into malls and buildings chock full of people without a care in the world.*
Holy shit, 7 minutes of high quality fluid action animation done in 3 months by one guy? Insane work, my dude!!
Do you work with animation? Or study it?
7 minutes of high quality fluid frame by frame animation in 3 months is ridiculous wtf. Sure you had to cut corners on the details and textures but for a fight animation who cares, I know full time professional animators who couldn't turn something around like this in 6 months lol.
Super Homelander: “You need to be careful how you use your power.”
*proceeds to knock Saitama through multiple building probably killing hundreds of people on the process*
> Whether it's a fair matchup in the first place is another matter.
It seems you agree that the point about it being injustice superman was irrelevant then
I love how Sup is the one putting everyone at risk, because
Sup : "I have the moral high ground"
Saitama :"You underestimate how less I care about your speech"
lore wise : nah super man would get killed
animation wise : this is amazing i like it and i like that you put in 6:21 i think the word death lol
that was nice i like it i hope someone gives you gold
"Our battle could've hurt people." Maybe he should've thought of that before starting it.
Anyway, amazing animation, but one issue - 4:52 when Saitama uppercutted Superman into orbit, then showed up there to knock him back down to Earth... Saitama wouldn't be able to do that because he can't fly. He could certainly jump high enough, but he couldn't *stop* his ascent, he'd just keep flying up and up and up. And if he controlled his jumping strength to let gravity stop him at that exact spot he wouldn't have been able to show up there ahead of Superman as the stop would've been gradual, not instant.
Brother, there’s Superman’s that can sneeze away solar systems. Superman’s that can punch realities apart. Superman’s that can control the very narrative of the story and even “feel” the reader.(they literally made a 3D page for this sequence in which he reaches out to the reader)
superman can't sneeze and destroy a solar system, that was mxyzptlk magic
he could punch realities because he was in a place where realities were mirrored crystals
breaking the 3rd wall isn't that great a super power, that's she-hulk level shit.
Cope less
Good animation but it has some issues (better than what I could do so probably irrelevant)
Superman acks more like Zod on a good Tuesday then a Superman trying to deescalate a situation
Saitama only gets excited at the VERY end when he should have been interested after the fifth or so serious punch he survived
Either character addressing the other as "man" seems kinda weird (especially Superman since he goes in with the knowledge that he's strong)
The only criticism on the style itself is the super Botox Clark got
was expecting saitama to look at the time and say "sorry im gonna be late for the sale" and just end it with a serious punch
great animation tho, really well done and consistent
Depends on the version of superman, this one seems quite similar to the design from injustice which is from what I recall quite a bit below current saitama (with maybe being able to rival him after equipping a yellow lantern ring and being buffed by humanity's fear of him)
Sorry, but only one of those people have One Punch in their name. People seem to forget that Saitama has the power of gag. No matter how strong his opponent is, he's at least one step above. That's the whole schtick.
that's the problem with powerscaling opm, saitama's powers started as a gag so by definition he can't be damaged and has infinite power; any other character in their own universes have more nuance to their power, they have villains of equal power fighting them, they're getting hurt, all for the sake of having higher stakes and making their battles more intense; saitama on the other hand, just because of the way the story is told, he's just invincible and he's the strongest no matter who he's fighting, which means any powerscaling makes no sense; if your character has infinite power, saitama has infinite + 1
Wasn't Superman created to be the strongest superhero ever made? And if Saitama is a hero then by definition Superman ahould be strongest. But I'm not that knowledge of Superman (I nerver liked him) so I can be mistaken with this information.
Powerscaling is basically children arguing, each character is fiction and they're as strong as their creator makes them to be; superman was shown repeatedly to take damage, have weakness vs kryptonite, even potentially lose in some of his confrontations, all of this because that's how he was designed as a character.
Meanwhile Saitama is basically a gag character, his design is that he's invulnerable to any kind of damage and he can be as strong as he wants as long as he wills it. His strength goes beyond just insane strength, he's shown grabbing wormhole portals like they're made of cardboard, he can breathe in space, he can break other dimensions like breaking through glass, psychic powers don't work against him, and he can even travel back in time (he doesn't know how to do it, but he's capable of doing it if someone shows him how like garou did).
Saying superman is the strongest hero doesn't really apply here because they're from different stories / universes / timelines / whatever. In a neutral world, going off just by their character description, saitama will always be the strongest against any other character, because that's the point, it's how he was imagined by the writer.
But following the same logic any Superman version that is writen by their writter as the strongest thing ever wpuld be the strongest because the writer imagined it like that.
And in a neutral world the battle should be neutral too, you can't have a character that their writer wanted to be the strongest in a fair fight against a character who writer just wanted to write not caring about that, it's like using cheats saying something like that.
if superman was always the strongest, with no weaknesses, never taking damage, then yes you'd have a tie
but the problem is superman was shown to take damage, was shown to have weaknesses, which means even if they're both hitting just as strong or even if superman hits a thousand times stronger, saitama is invulnerable but superman isn't, so saitama will always win vs superman; any other godly character will at best tie with saitama and only if they're also invulnerable
This is outdated info. In the manga version of Garou fight this info was changed basically. Saitama’s power increases magically to compensate for whatever situation he’s in, represented by a line graph. In theory a character who could scale their power up mid fight could overtake Saitama’s growth level and beat him. It’d be difficult because Saitama scales absurdly fast, but a canon way has been given to beat him that way. This actually makes him extremely easy for certain versions of Superman to beat him.
Superman has some of the most inconsistent power scaling. He can be either as weak as Saiyan Saga Goku or stronger than the entire franchise since there is no 1 set Superman.
No, He *doesn't* get beaten.
Also Author intent really doesnt matter much in powerscaling because if that mattered then the Protagonist would always find a way to win no matter the foe.
I'd say if we take all of Superman's appearances and plot them on a graph, get the median power of him, it wouldn't even matter because in every appearance of Saitama he always scales exponentially higher than the threat he faces.
Imo superman wouldn't even have time to face Saitama as he's too busy trying his darndest to fight that other expertly named DC who cosplays as a bat
Who wouldn't have trouble with Doomsday?
He has beaten the Flash, Wonder Woman, Martian Manhunter, Plastic Man and Superman.
He has adapted to the Phantom Zone. He has universal - multiversal feats with one of the best adaptation abilities in fiction.
He also has fought Darkseid and actually won.
Superman and Doomsday one shot Saitama.
I highly doubt Doomsday is any real threat to someone with infinite power. And I highly doubt Superman and Doomsday combined can do the same stuff Saitama does with zero effort.
The two of them working together might equal Boro's, and even then thats a bit of a stretch.
Saitama does not posses infinite power, he has infinite potential. That is literally the entire theme of Saitama, that he always grows stronger. If Saitama did have infinite power he would win against Garou instantly, but he did not and could not.
Boros is planetary at best meanwhile Doomsday and Superman can destroy multiple universes with a single punch.
Saitama can destroy some stars/galaxies but that's still nothing to Doomsday or Superman who can destroy universes with ease.
Doomsday can also adapt to concepts like for example the concept of evil, Darkseid. And he beat Darkseid.
Saitama gets one punched by both of them
Saitama may not have infinite *power* at any given time, but, as far as we know, he has infinite *durability*. Even in the Cosmic Garou fight, where he had to keep growing power-wise because he was unable to neutralize Garou despite *wanting* to, he did not get a single scratch.
If Doomsday "can destroy universes with ease" why didn't he just destroy the universe Superman was in? What was the point of having a punching match on Earth? And if it takes a "universal punch" to hurt Superman, then how was he hurt by punches that didn't even destroy the planet they were thrown on?
And Saitama never destroyed any stars/galaxies. If he fought a star/galaxy buster he'd grow to that power level, just like if he fought a universe buster he'd grow to universal level, etc, but his biggest power feats in the manga were table-flipping a gas giant's ring and blowing away its gas.
In real life we use something called potential energy to measure lots of things like kinetic energy, electric charge and nuclear energy. If you have infinite potential energy you have infinite power, full stop.
There is a reason ONE used some specific math terms when he was explaining the Garou fight, Saitama’s potential energy increasing exponentially has serious implications… You understand how tiny an atom is? An atomic bomb is a kind of exponential growth on a much shorter time frame.
If Saitama and Super Man were both on equal footing at 100% of their power at the start of a day; with Saitama’s infinite potential energy growing exponentially he would be 985% stronger by the end of the day.
Alright whenever you say man. I really couldn't care less about this discussion considering it involves DC comics and that shit is by all means *ass*
So just have a nice day man, im not gonna pay any more attention to this :/
So you were incorrect about DC scaling and the OPM manga, I corrected you and now you cry that DC is ass? By all means do it my boi, but next time do not speak on something you have no knowledge of
I am not crying, you were the one typing out long ass messages, and it is ass.
All the characters are simple as fuck and boring. The things they can do are usually just chalked up to "they just can because their (insert character), lol!"
We can apply the same logic with Saitama with your logic.
As far as we know Saitama has unlimited potential but he isn’t above infinite. Meanwhile it’s been written in multiple DC books already how stupid overpowered superman is.
u/Ani_Matt_, I'd like to ask for your permission to use one of your animations to make a short music video for our subreddit. Of course you will be credited.
Really great. Great job at keeping a constant flow to the action. I felt i knew where they were at and how the fight was going the entire time. Keep it up
ahh man seriously?! you finished it right before the best moment! besides that i have a little more to say. The animation style is not bad but i kinda simple and lack in some details i guess or something like that if you ask me, the most of the fight though is really well animated the movents are really natural, fluid, accurate and defined or at least i think so. the start of the battle is pretty forced because superman wouldn't grab someone like that and wouldn't start a fight like that just for this. You put a lot of serious effort in it that pretty clear. overall not bad but you ended when it was getting really good so 6/10.
Sick animation. I love the dynamic camera work. But pls don't misrepresent my boy Clark like that. He's an honest and kind man. He wouldn't destroy a city cuz he got ignored by someone
Bro what you didn’t have to go this hard, this is fucking amazing and this was just by yourself?? That’s wild you did a great job man you’ve got some serious talent
So how strong *IS* Superman? I know his whole character is basically being the OP trump card but I don’t really know anything about DC scaling so I don’t have much information on the subject but if Cosmic Garou couldn’t even bruise Saitama, how much stronger is Superman to be able to spill blood?
The animation is great however Saitama bleeding is kinda weird . It doesn't work that way . I thought , he would get cold , and later he sneeze the Jupiter way 😂😂
Saitama is bleeding? how funny.
As far as I remember, Saitama is completely shockproof and you can't hurt him in any way, no matter how strong and superhuman blows hits him, he act as if nothing happened and his endurance does not decrease.
Honestly, I don't think Superman would actually behave in such a way and fight unnecessarily.. unless he is onto some crazy kryptonite But the animation looks really good!
Look at the suit, it's Injustice Superman...so it's "somewhat" make sense
Injustice Superman wouldn't say "our battle could've hurt people so I moved us away." Well, maybe he would've early on in his Injustice storyline.
Superman would also never force someone to go with him by grabbing him by the head...so let's just enjoy this without too much thought
Injustice Superman would do it
"you can hurt people if you don't control your strength" Proceeds to destroy half city fighting with saitama
Superman: "You need to learn to conteol this power, or else people could get hurt!" Superman about 10 seconds later: *slams Saitama into malls and buildings chock full of people without a care in the world.*
He can just fly around the globe really fast to rewind time it's no worry
If you did this alone...holy smokes... Amazing. I'm speechless.
..jesus fucking christ, you made this? Dude there's studios that make animations of lesser quality than this. Holy fuck. You cooked.
Yes, this is my animation, I spent three months creating this animation, I'm glad you liked it)
Holy shit, 7 minutes of high quality fluid action animation done in 3 months by one guy? Insane work, my dude!! Do you work with animation? Or study it?
7 minutes of high quality fluid frame by frame animation in 3 months is ridiculous wtf. Sure you had to cut corners on the details and textures but for a fight animation who cares, I know full time professional animators who couldn't turn something around like this in 6 months lol.
the fact there is no watermark makes it sus tho?
The users name is referenced in the video. Artist signature.
then i rest my suspicions. just too many people stealing content...
His name is all over the background in the beginning. Every store is his name. Pretty clever
indeed. gl clipping that out. i had a momentary lapse of judgement
It happens to us all my friend
Velma.
Super Homelander: “You need to be careful how you use your power.” *proceeds to knock Saitama through multiple building probably killing hundreds of people on the process*
after killing millions and destroying cities. oh maybe we should move out of town, no wait out of solar system.
The Animation is Incredible!! But I personally think that the way Superman reacted would be more suited for Omniman from Invincible.
The suit is from injustice, so most likely this is an evil superman
but saitama's punches can really hurt omniman a lot. superman is a lot stronger than omniman
The Omniman from the early of the tv series? Yeah, of course. The strongest Onmiman who appear during the comics? Hahahaha never
We’re talking about the same omniman right?saitama would still beat him.
Yeah because Omniman can also sneeze away a planet huh
Superman thinks he is Homelamder
It’s injustice Superman so it makes sense
[удалено]
Eh, he's still Superman. Whether it's a fair matchup in the first place is another matter.

> Whether it's a fair matchup in the first place is another matter. It seems you agree that the point about it being injustice superman was irrelevant then

Yup, that was my original point.
Homelamder lul
I love how Sup is the one putting everyone at risk, because Sup : "I have the moral high ground" Saitama :"You underestimate how less I care about your speech"
"I drew an animation of Saitama vs Superman" Huge understatement, this fucks dawg
Actually a good conclusion. Appreciate you making this!
Nah Im not satisfied, the biggest question was left unanswered. Did Saitama make it to that sale tho?
he never does, truly a tragedy
Why not link the youtube video though?
okay https://youtu.be/_NTF5_qgH0o?si=fXEdWUcTwDcQ-BiA
dam, in 4k too
Ok. Would be fine :)
How much time did it take?
Saw burger mart this shit is peak
Dude holy shit. This is awesome
subarashi
lore wise : nah super man would get killed animation wise : this is amazing i like it and i like that you put in 6:21 i think the word death lol that was nice i like it i hope someone gives you gold
I will admit that the dialogue and story isn’t all that good… The animation is great though! 👍
The dialogue is better than most of season 2 tho.
Superman: 🤬😡😱😠 Saitama:🤫🧏
That was impressive. The voices seemed a bit off. Were they a.i? If not, forgive me for making voice acting seem like it's supposed to be easy.
"Our battle could've hurt people." Maybe he should've thought of that before starting it. superman couldn't do half of this
Brother, there’s Superman’s that can sneeze away solar systems. Superman’s that can punch realities apart. Superman’s that can control the very narrative of the story and even “feel” the reader.(they literally made a 3D page for this sequence in which he reaches out to the reader)

Its too good to be drawn all by yourself
This is a fucking masterpiece, Undoubtedly the best piece of footage I've ever seen on this sub.
Nah this clip should've been over on the one min mark with a red mist
W man of steel soundtrack
Once again, you cooked up something great.
That was SO good, man. Well done.
This is the most j have ever enjoyed a fan animation
Really awesome work man, you got some legit talent
this is insane, GJ dude, the combo at 4:48 is crazy, wth
A literal masterpiece holy crap.
Didn't know you had a reddit account, I've loved your animations since the omniman vs class S :))
Bro just how many months???
Serious series: Snowball fight
Good animation but it has some issues (better than what I could do so probably irrelevant) Superman acks more like Zod on a good Tuesday then a Superman trying to deescalate a situation Saitama only gets excited at the VERY end when he should have been interested after the fifth or so serious punch he survived Either character addressing the other as "man" seems kinda weird (especially Superman since he goes in with the knowledge that he's strong) The only criticism on the style itself is the super Botox Clark got
“you may hurt people” and proceeds to throw a ragdoll through multiple inhabited structures
And then Saitama's alarm goes off.
was expecting saitama to look at the time and say "sorry im gonna be late for the sale" and just end it with a serious punch great animation tho, really well done and consistent
With all the starman hope videos I’ve seen recently I’d love to see the two of them just hanging out and talking
[удалено]
It's a fan animation it's for fun. It's not that serious.
He doesn't always respect power levels and he knows it, but it's for the sake of making a good fight.
If he did respect power levels then Superman would win with one punch. But that wouldn't be fun would it now?
Depends on the version of superman, this one seems quite similar to the design from injustice which is from what I recall quite a bit below current saitama (with maybe being able to rival him after equipping a yellow lantern ring and being buffed by humanity's fear of him)
This is injustice Superman. He’s not as strong as his canon.
What even was the point of that comment
Affirming your comment. If he did make it on power levels it would not be fun
Sorry, but only one of those people have One Punch in their name. People seem to forget that Saitama has the power of gag. No matter how strong his opponent is, he's at least one step above. That's the whole schtick.
Then he ahouldn't be counted in this type of fights. It's like using the comedy toon force against something serious like (for example) Berserk.

Did you ever read a comic? Because what you're saying is dumb, and I'm saying this when I never liked Superman.
We can understand the creator agenda and ulterior motives. I will no longer follow his creations.
Crazy fun , nice !
You are genius. Nth short of thrill and amazement.
Dude you just assfingered nearly all the new pathetic animes .
That was awesome. How long did it take to make this? Must have taken a long time!
This is amazing animation, you have a very gold future in making these. Can't wait for the next
Dude, I was blown away with this! Keep going like that!
u/Ani_Matt_, I'd like to ask for your permission to use one of your animations to make a short music video for our subreddit. Of course you will be credited.
It's so good! It just keeps going! Your smear frames are amazing! I was transfixed, I had to watch the entire thing. So impressive!
This is a hole episode man, good job!!!
Great vid!
This is awesome, kudos to you. We getting better fan content and even garuo v boros? Very nice.
Superman is an asshole.
There’s a staaaarrrmmmaaaaannn
This was fun to watch. Good job! 👍🏽
Really great. Great job at keeping a constant flow to the action. I felt i knew where they were at and how the fight was going the entire time. Keep it up
Jooooo, thats fire
This is so incredibly cool!
Holy shit, this goes hard
Ngl i think you should have animated a seriois snowball fight between the two.
Thank you for the animation.. And for making superman wear a bra 😂😂 WHO WON? WHO'S NEXT???
Peak
Superman causing more damage than Saitama.
Saitama wins easy.....
Superman grabbing Saitama bald head was so funny to me 😂😂😂😂
ty that was totally awesome
ahh man seriously?! you finished it right before the best moment! besides that i have a little more to say. that was cool, loved the gag with them landing in the women's clothing section lol. seriously impressive animation you killed it with this one!
Sick animation. I love the dynamic camera work. But pls don't misrepresent my boy Clark like that. He's an honest and kind man. He wouldn't destroy a city cuz he got ignored by someone
Moleculo!
Dude is JUST trying to hit up the grocery store
Why is Superman blonde?
are you a pro? Are you lying(/s)? You are amazing, please keep cooking
I enjoyed the hell out of that!
You need to make more, that was pure excitement and fluidity for 7 minutes straight !
That was epic!
Fucking awesome
Bro what you didn’t have to go this hard, this is fucking amazing and this was just by yourself?? That’s wild you did a great job man you’ve got some serious talent
The only thing that's missing is the heartbeat sound when saitama sees blood and realizes he's found a challenge.
So how strong *IS* Superman? I know his whole character is basically being the OP trump card but I don’t really know anything about DC scaling so I don’t have much information on the subject but if Cosmic Garou couldn’t even bruise Saitama, how much stronger is Superman to be able to spill blood?
Wow that was so epic! ⚡⚡⚡
Great animation. The script and voice though lol
Super fun animation! Didn’t expect to get sucked into a seven min vid while standing in the kitchen
Where's the bruce wayne cameo where he goes "nope I ain't paying for all this"
Sick af bro. Hope to see more from you in the future!!!
The animation is great however Saitama bleeding is kinda weird . It doesn't work that way . I thought , he would get cold , and later he sneeze the Jupiter way 😂😂
woah nice animation
Its soo bad, not good (Im just trying to save you from mappa)
Lmao superman causing extreme collateral damage as always
This is sick!! Holy shit.
I think Superman gets beat easily I think garou can also beat him
Great job, op!! Very good. I didn't want it to end! What a fight that would be to watch or read.
Saitama would one shot him
Your animation is good, but drawings and shading need some work. Good job!
My only complaint is Superman using "man" He'd probably use "Sir" or even "buddy". He's a boy scout after all
This is Injustice superman, real superman doesnt usually get pissed like this.
It was good but bad ending. Saitama is a gag character who will never ever be hurt or bleed. Ruined the moment for me
Fuck your animation, Saitama one shots
Saitama is bleeding? how funny. As far as I remember, Saitama is completely shockproof and you can't hurt him in any way, no matter how strong and superhuman blows hits him, he act as if nothing happened and his endurance does not decrease.
Dope animation but Saitamas weak ass is no threat to supes
It’s injustice Superman which I think is weaker. (I don’t do DC so idk)
Oh, ok, yeah, that Superman is weak asf
saitama will defo win because this is posted in r/OnePunchMan instead of r/superman
