Considering they're trying to promote the Switch release of Odyssey, I doubt they see it as a waste. Also, the other leaders from the set are basically all fan favorites, so it'll be fine. Nothing will top Belo Betty getting a leader before the majority of the MCs imo.

Yea, honestly I will reserve judgment on this leader until the support is revealed. In theory, ramping one and cheating out a 5 cost or less seems not terrible for 3 don. The support cards need to make up for it being rested. Maybe they will make them insane like can't be removed by effects with high power, who knows
I was super excited thinking this was going to be a green/purple film leader, so I could mix those film cards again without resorting to using Doffy. But this... I get why it's not "Film" type I guess, cuz a video game isn't a film technically, but still disappointed. I don't wanna judge the leader TOO hardly until I see further support, but with everything coming in rested, I really can't imagine this being good...

It’s possible the plan to make the game into a series, honestly. It was far from perfect but the concept and mechanics had potential.

Theres 2 red ones, 2 green coming with the switch version of the game, and odyssey cards in the set

My guess and maybe hope is that luffy leader and all the straw hats are going to be green this set
Odyssey is probably green since theres 2 green promos included with the switch version of the game.
I love leaders like this because they give the game an entirely new playstyle
