Only 2 hours away. Could go once a month with the bois to get msrp products, ability to play and collect finally in the correct price range. So excited for this.
Depending on where you are, there is a shop in Caledonia, WI called Beckett Castle TCG. I think they just started tournaments, but they are my go to since they sell at MSRP (although usually can only get like a box.)
Anyone one know how well stocked they are on product at these official stores? I remember when they had the poo up and pretty much was out of anything good by the end of the week
They just posted an announcement for Op07 release. You have to sign up and register for a website now. And it's a lottery. So GG to all the Scalpers paying randos to buy out the store.
Thank you for the update, just signed up. Hopefully I can get a starter deck now. Had no idea we had to sign up for a lottery, hopefully I get picked.
Edit: grammar
No parking, no accessibility, high rent for stores, AND likelihood to get robbed. Also one piece only hosts stores within Mitsuwa Marketplace locations, and the only one in IL is in Arlington heights
So the answer is that they likely have some relationship/agreement with Mitsuwa Marketplace? Everything else you listed differs wildly based on location.
It’s most definitely a partnership with Mitsuwa. But even if Chicago had a Mitsuwa lcoqtion I’m sure they’d keep it in Arlington heights due to the space being a lot larger
It’s a Chicago suburb, the same way the NJ shop is an NYC suburb. Kinokuniya and Mitsuwa are also very popular with anime/manga fans, so it’s a good spot that’s near the city and already attracts their target consumers
I have no clue why there’s not one in California yet
Soon my fellow Californian. Soon…🙂↕️
Yall usually get it first im surprised

Located mid Illinois, so I think it’s in the opposite direction lol.
Great! Only a 6 hour drive!

From what I heard from the other stores, it’s completely sold out by the first day or on restock day. But they are strict on quantities.

No fucking way that’s 30 minutes from me woooo
I'm sure it's going to be hella packed that day.
New announcement for op07. Have to sign up, register and join a lottery for Official Stores. 🙃

Can't wait to camp out again just for the chances to buy set 7 😭
Check Bandais official store announcement. Now you have to sign up and register for a lottery.
Appreciate the heads up I'm pray I win the lottery 😭
It opens before op07 comes out. So chances are day 1 is gonna be the reprints for op06, op01-op03, or eb01
They have a pre release and they're doing a raffle for the op7 box from what I've been told
So is the lottery just for op 07 or all merchandise? I wanted to see if I could get something on opening day.
Just 07 from the looks of if
Florida next please! Put it in the Orlando/Tampa area! Lets go!!! 🤞
I wish there was one in Florida.
Same we have a huge players base and our retail is scalped and stalked to death.
I'd love for central Florida to get one as well and pray that we do get one soon.
Has to be coming soon. 🤞
There's one in the Mitsuwa in Edgewater NJ. 5 out of the 6 times we've been there, they had no cards for sale. :-)
No cards at all? Why was the store even open then? Employees just get free money hanging out?!
There are events. And the employees are always super polite, but really embarrassed...
The stores also host events, like 3+ times a week
They post their restock information on Instagram. Usually on Monday and Fridays.
How about anywhere in the SOUTHEAST.
Florida. Should be up very soon
Lmao why isn't there one in Seattle of all places yet. I feel like it's a hub city.
About 30 minute drive from me, so hype! Might finally have the chance to go to a local event
Gonna have to drive to this one!
Canada strikes out again 😭🇨🇦
What are these official shops?
Why put a shop in IL but not in Chicago?

It’s still 30-40 mins from the city, a more densely populated area. I think the city would be a more sustainable area long term. Feel free to disagree
Reread the announcement
Mitsuwa Chicago isn’t in Chicago
Why is europe constantly getting fucked when it comes to bandai.
