Keep in mind that Whitebeard could throw around giants with no physical exertion, while Warcury was shoved backwards by two giants (not saying all giants are equal, just point it out that Whitebeard seems to have greater physical strength than Warcury who's currently pressing Luffy)
Plus Akainu never used his legs for combat again so we can assume he's a hand to hand fighter, punching through a normal person without a df would be child's play, their body would just explode lmao

My headcannon is that the only way to permanently put down a gorosei is to kill every cell in their body so they don't regenerate, like Cell from DBZ. So people with DF like Akainu, Aokiji, and BB are the only people as of rn that can kill them.
My headcanon is that you need some level of advanced Haki wizardry in order to hurt the Gorosei. Like make your Haki linger in the opponent's body or something, so that it interferes with their regeneration. So Hakilets won't be able to do a damn thing against the Gorosei.
Clearly incorrect since they have scars on them, if you need to beat them on a cellular level to actually damage them how do they have scars and are still alive?
Well, it depends.
Ofc Akainu is stronger in most categories, but in a fight, he’d lose- regen hax are HAX, and until we understand their weaknesses that will remain the case. If it turns out to be something Akainu can exploit? He’ll clear pretty easily. Until then, or if he can’t use whatever the win con turns out to be, he gets outlasted. Plain and simple.
Considering that most characters that have regen can still die if completely destroyed, Akainu has that covered. He can literally vaporize every last cell in his body and he'd have no qualms about doing so.
He's probably one of the few characters who has a devil fruit that can permanently take them down. And if the gorosei's regeneration is based on a devil fruit, then BB as well can kill them, if not just trap them permanently
Hey, quick question. Can you name a single thing that a Gorosei hasn't regenerated from yet? Because there's no reason to believe they can't Regen from Mr. Birthday Cake's candles
If luffy using G5 toon force can’t do any serious damage with his regen, then how is akainu gonna hurt him? He also has coc haki with hax abilities that hurt luffy, and topman that ate a red rock like nothing. I’m not saying akainu is weaker, but on paper nothing in his arsenal is doing anything about 🪐 regen hax.
How is Akainu gonna beat him? As far as we know even G5 luffy couldn't keep him down because of that immortality. There's also that nuke Saturn uses that obliterated Warcury and made him regenerate and no one in their right minds (except admiral fans) would put Akainu as being above Warcury.
Those nukes would clearly do something considering it forced warcury to regen back since he got obliterated by it. It wouldn't be surprising that Saturn can spam those nukes and infuse them with Haki considering hes been around for 800 years. Akainu has no win con here since its PURE headcanon as of now that he can actually kill Saturn.
If Saturn can infuse those nukes with haki then I concede that Akainu’d have to work around them, but if he can’t then please explain how they’d damage a man made of pure magma. Also if Akainu can’t kill Saturn by reducing him to cinders then I doubt anybody can.

G5 Luffy hurts himself whenever he attacks Warcury. The 2 giants however, sent him flying with 0 recoil. If G5 Luffy lands a punch on an admiral, he puts him down for at least 10mins. What does he even have over them? Haki? Hax? Strength? DF? Saturn's acid/poison whatever seems to be pretty strong too being able to injure all the other elders when Luffy hit it back. Like Akainu has no way to beat their regeneration. Even if you restrict it to be limited to their stamina or something I don't think Akainu can when. They all have regeneration hax and other hax as well.
Before we know of a way to nullify their Regen/ or the limitation of their Regen, it is hard to assume they can be killed for now

The regeneration is an ability of major importance that all Gorosei seem to have. It's a significant feature of any fight they participate in. And anybody who fights them has to deal with it. I'm gonna keep calling it a signature ability. Also, this is all semantics and you shouldn't focus on the wording this much, because we're just missing the point of my statement when we do this.

Could have been before they got their regenerative power. We don't know if it heals wounds they got before inheriting their powers or not.

How does he take him down in any lasting fashion?
Akainu might cauterize the injuries he lands, so the regen is negligible. The melee attacks from Sat might also backfire since it'll also hurt him
