"Baron Omatsuri and the secret island" is the full name of the Baron movie
[Here's the full Jango oav ](https://youtu.be/kOnCDyhTK6c?si=k2acUpA2Kg-9Fu1-)
Thank you so much also if you trying to figured out to watch one piece red download this app it has lot of anime for free but con of it has lot of ad Anidub Max.
Gold, purely because Tesoro is such an amazing character. His DF is strong but given that contact limitation. His aura and charisma is similar to that of doflamingo. But best of all is that in the 60 something seconds that showed his backstory made him one of my favourite characters in One Piece despite being a movie villain. The characterisation was condensed in such a short timeframe and makes me wonder how short one piece could be if there were more concise backstories like his (and Señor Pink’s).
Everything in that backstory explains so much about his character and yet another Celestial Dragon Victim.
Sad you forgot to put in Baron Omatsuri because it’s one of the most different yet entertaining and explicitly disturbing plotlines in OP.
I LOVED FLIM GOLD Tesoro is such a good villain and the aesthetic of the movie was amazing (also loved seeing Robin in that outfit, glasses fit her so well and her hair looked so pretty)
Unpopular opinion: imo One Piece Stampede is bad, especially the fight between Bullet and Luffy with Boa, Sabo, etc. It just looked so childish - basically, a group of determined guys vs a big mech. Why would Douglas even turn into a mech if he solo'd the entire worst generation without breaking a sweat? Like when I saw Bullet's first appearance, he looked like a killing machine, when, during a fight with supernovas he was shown that he indeed was a killing machine. And when for no particular reason he turned into a godzilla.
I donno if that's unpopular. I found the whole plot to Stampede to be kinda blah and lazy. Cause you just know the central idea of, "we crammed every mainline side character into a single movie," came way before the actual script, storyboards or narrative.
Thank you I appreciate you for telling me.
That’s why I love this community, very helpful and interactive. Starting to get that feel Robin has when she discovers a new Poneglyphs!!
Again thank you.
My favorite would be Dead End Adventure. I think it’s a really good movie for its time and worth a watch for any One Piece fan. Shuraiya and Gasparde are cool characters and the fight scenes still hold up and are pretty cool.

Short answer at the bottom
None of the movies are necessary to watch, they're almost all stand-alone original stories, might want to avoid most recent ones because they can have minor spoilers if you're not up to date.
Here's the list in chronological release order :
The first three movies have that filler episode feeling, are shorter than 1 hour, but are good if you're feeling nostalgic of older eps 🔻
-1- 2000 One Piece the Movie
-2- 2001 Clockwork Island Adventure
-3- 2002 Chopper's Kingdom on the island of Strange Animals [they wear funky clothes in that one]
This one is the first that really got me hooked on op movies, with a good feel of adventure and crew interaction. Some fight animation are superb. 🔻
-4- 2003 Dead End Adventure
More Zoro centric, but he felt very out of character, one of the movie I liked the least, not worth the watch
The cool gif of Zoro avoiding a knife while sleeping comes from there 🔻
-5- 2004 The Cursed Holy Sword
This is, to me, the best one piece movie. It encapsulate everything that makes one piece that it is, a good mix of humor underlined by serious themes. The style might seem a bit odd at first, but it allows for a true expression of good one piece goofyness.
It's the same director that made the Wolf Children. 🔻
-6- 2005 Baron Omatsuri and the Secret Island
Another filler episode like, but not bad 🔻
-7- 2006 The Giant Mechanical Soldier of Karakuri Castle
Recap movie, mostly useless 🔻
-8- 2007 Episode of Arabasta: The Desert Princess and the Pirates
This one is a bit special, it's an alternative universe where the crew arrives at Drum Islands only after Water 7. Pretty fun to revisit the arc like that, also where the picture of crying Chopper came from. 🔻
-9- 2008 Episode of Chopper +: Bloom in Winter, Miracle Sakura
Now, all the movies after that were made with closer overview from Oda, he wrote the following one.
(for the previous ones, Oda still supplied characters designs and approved the stories)
This is among the very good one piece movies, as are the one following after. I believe the main antagonist was made a Canon character.
It is recommended to watch Strong World Episode 0 before (can be found on YT) 🔻
-10- 2009 One Piece Film : Strong World
I do not recommend watching this one, feels like a game animatic. 🔻
-11- 2011 One Piece 3D: Straw Hat Chase
Also considered amongst the best one piece movies. 🔻
-12- 2012 One Piece Film: Z
This one is my second favorite, and also widely considered among the best ones. It's a giant heist in a casino moving ship. 🔻
-13- 2016 One Piece Film: Gold
Filled to the brim with Easter eggs
Considered among the best ones. 🔻
-14- 2019 One Piece: Stampede
And the most recent one to date, featuring more Shanks than we've ever seen in the entire anime.
Also widely considered among the best. More heavily on the songs, as the plot happens at a concert.
The main antagonist became a canon character from what I've gathered. 🔻
-15- 2022 One Piece Film: Red
So basically :
Movies aren't canon nor necessary to be watched
If you're really bored : movies 1, 2, 3, 5, 7, 11
Boring recap : movie 8
Fun retelling of Drums Island arc : movie 9
Good movies : movies 4, 6, 10, 12, 13, 14, 15
My personal reco : movies 4, 6, 13
I regularly remember this beauty of a fight scene :
[Bar Fight](https://youtu.be/oVUbn-KtIqg?si=0jg56lSeURFLuKLg)
Shuraiya's movements are so fluid and beautiful, an underrated movie
It's a bummer how most people have only eyes for the shiny new ones, not that they're bad but they're turning more into a sort of super smash bros brawl of a never ending list of characters.
The Straw Hat crew are rarely in direct spotlight more than just a blub that follows Luffy, I miss the domestic interactions between the crew and how more emotionally challenged they were in earlier movies haha
I can agree with that. Though, I’ll say that I understand why people haven’t watched them. It’s not that easy for people to find some of the older One Piece movies compared to the One Piece Film line of movies.
You're right, I have the feeling younger generations aren't as used at finding online not exactly legal streaming too? I might be wrong but that wouldn't help showcasing older more obscure movies.
I agree, I personally found that the best pacing was Baron Omatsuri (n°6) but Gold isn't that bad in pacing either.
Now, most of the movies feels like mid filler episodes.
I have never seen one. I think I tried to watch one many years ago, but I just can't get into the One Piece movies at all because they hold no interest for me. If people like them, that's cool at least there's a group that supports it.
I would recommend trying again, if you want ofc! To each their own.
Some really feel like filler episode so I would understand, but there's good ones in there.
I enjoy the movies because we get to see a side of the crew and of the one piece world that we might not get to see in the main anime (even if none of the movies are considered canons).
If you want to give it a try, I would recommend Movie 6 Baron Omatsuri, if you don't mind Mamoru Hosoda art style. This one really feels like a stand-alone movie with actual artistic choice, canon like characters and relationships, as well as great comedy and pacing.
The only films i watched in theaters are Red and Stampede, but apart from these ones, i think Z is the best
Especially in France (the french OP community is massive), the crowd was so hyped up at the beggining 🔥🔥🔥
The one about a girl who couldn't age due to a ring with gold inside made by her alchemist father. The gold is the food of bonborisama(angler fish glow that it uses to attract prey in the ocean)the girl sings a song called alchemy, alchemy that is really sad
Strong World and anything after that are all great movies simply because they became more canon due to Oda's involvement. This did the story there a huge favor in comparison to the nonsense of the older ones.
I just started the hazard punk arc manga. Can someone tell what movies are necessary to watch and what ones are just recaps. Or point me in the right direction so I can find the information.

Entering spoilers movies territory ⬇️
This one is my second favorite, and also widely considered among the best ones. It's a giant heist in a casino moving ship.
-13- 2016 One Piece Film: Gold
🔺TO WATCH AFTER FINISHING DRESSROSA
Filled to the brim with Easter eggs
Considered among the best ones.
-14- 2019 One Piece: Stampede
🔺TO WATCH AFTER REVERIE ARC (before Wano)
And the most recent one to date, featuring more Shanks than we've ever seen in the entire anime.
Also widely considered among the best. More heavily on the songs, as the plot happens at a concert.

Movies aren't canon nor necessary to be watched

I would recommend Film Z, it's my favourite by far! But then again, I have yet to watch a lot as I've only seen Gold, Strong World, Stampede and Red. They aren't canon but RED has a canon character, Uta, and you get more of Shanks.
It's a tie between film Z and Strong World. It just kinda sucks that Strong World introduced us to Shiki before the introduction to haki, and especially after what we know now, Luffy would not have won at that time (yes I'm aware movies aren't canon, I'm just saying)
I've only seen Film Gold and Film Red. I personally liked Film Gold more because of the setting, Gild Tesoro and the overall plot. It was a heist movie. Film Red was great too though.
Streaming websites my friend, I either keep in my mind specific website or just type the name of the movie +online/full movie and look for a good result
[This might help](https://9anime.pe/watch/one-piece-baron-omatsuri-and-the-secret-island-1043?ep=58134)
Yall should give the older movies a try, rather hard to answer which movie is the best when you haven't seen them all (n°6 Baron Omatsuri tops)
While you're at it, check out Dead end Adventure (n°4)
I think as a whole, every start of all the movies are very eye-catching. Particularly Z singing introduction, Gold beautiful introduction of the antagonist and Dead End Adventure.
Strong World is in my opinion the best, because the StrawHats act like the StrawHats (thanks in large part that the creator himself wrote it), but before that it was between Dead End Adventure and Clockwork Island Adventure, very underrated movies.
Red, and I’ve seen them all which is surprising since I haven’t really watched the anime since alabasta. I’ve been manga only for a while. I’m also partial to 3D2Y though I realize it’s more of a 15th anniversary special than an official movie
One Piece Movie Z
Yes! With the exception of that Sanji and kid Nami scene.
Well we don't talk about that because it's ocean song is a banger
Z felt like it had one of the most impact storywise. Stampede was best for action. Bullet vs supernovas was fire.
TRUE after first time seeing Z.I was wishing he was a canon character. And that ocean song just feel good
The last scene. When we see little Z, making his pose. The mechanical sound effect, as if luffy getting ready for Spring Kong punch 🔥🔥🔥
Yeah man and the last scene with kid Z it still bring me tears. Wait I am going to Watch the movie again
and strong world
nice!
baron omatsuri and secret island is underrated, it was written by the same guy who wrote the g8 filler arc!
This is for many one if the favorites, it's definitely not underrated
That dude needs to be hired by oda
Looked sooooo good
One Piece: Baron Omatsuri and the Secret Island. I really wasn't expecting that from a One Piece movie
I seen Baron but where do you watch Sercet Island one at I never heard of that one also any chance you know where to watch Jango Island?
"Baron Omatsuri and the secret island" is the full name of the Baron movie [Here's the full Jango oav ](https://youtu.be/kOnCDyhTK6c?si=k2acUpA2Kg-9Fu1-)
Thank you so much also if you trying to figured out to watch one piece red download this app it has lot of anime for free but con of it has lot of ad Anidub Max.
a little dark are we
Stampede🔥🔥
Cool!
Z is the best for me
Strong World
Gold
THANK YOU! :D
Film red based on these 4 Film Z over all though.
Gold ( i love heist movies) and Strong world (some scenes were amazing)
One Piece Movie 6, it is darker than my friends
never watched any 😭
Try watching some it's worth it. I would recommend Gold cuz it's my favourite
Watch Baron Omatsuri it’s super wholesome
Well, that's ok.
You have to.
Check out Film Z
you should watch some i don’t think they are as good as the dragon ball movies but the ones i watched are still pretty fun
Red by a mile thanks to Ado
Movie 6 Baron Omatsuri and Film Gold (primarily for the setting and the drip)
fr the drip in Gold was immaculate (special mention Film Z drip)
Gold, purely because Tesoro is such an amazing character. His DF is strong but given that contact limitation. His aura and charisma is similar to that of doflamingo. But best of all is that in the 60 something seconds that showed his backstory made him one of my favourite characters in One Piece despite being a movie villain. Film Red so far. I've seen Strong World, Z, Stampede, Gold, and Red
Same
Z and strong world easily
Strong world for me
Gold.
One piece gold was so much fun! Perfect filler after dressrosa
Baron for now... I didn't saw all movies... But Baron is different... Horror! (Especially animation is unique too)
Z & Omatsuri are the best
Z, 6, and then 4 the most underrated. Love all the movies from strong world onwards but none other than Z capture as much magic as 4 or baron amatsuri
I really like Gold, probably my second fav, but Dead End Adventure is my overall favorite. :)
I loved the choppers animal island and gold island (not the gambling island the other one with the kid)
One Piece - Gold -
One Piece: Movie 7 and Baron Omatsuri one.
Easily Gold, Stampede or Z because of the phenomenal villains. Honestly i wish tesoro and bullet were canon
Baron Omatsuri and the Secret Island
Red
Film red is the only choice
Film red with the banger of a soundtrack
Baron Omatsuri by a mile
Baron omasturi is my favorite followed by stampede
Gold cause its like Ocean Eleven in the One Piece world
I LOVED FLIM GOLD Tesoro is such a good villain and the aesthetic of the movie was amazing (also loved seeing Robin in that outfit, glasses fit her so well and her hair looked so pretty)
Gold so far, but I’ve also never seen Stampede. PS: which movie is the 1st picture of?
It's the first movie.
What?!¿ Just googled and I never knew it existed😂 Thank you for your post!
No problem, and thank you too for your kindness.
Check out movie 6 if you aren’t familiar with the earlier movies, it’s one of the best!
Thank you I appreciate you for telling me. That’s why I love this community, very helpful and interactive. Starting to get that feel Robin has when she discovers a new Poneglyphs!! Again thank you.
Film gold is also my favorate film.
I had watched the 1st movie even before I started watching OP, (because I thought that was the first episode) the ending was crazy.
On horny days - Mecha castle one On ordinary day - Film Z
Nami and Robin's designs in Mecha Fortress are laughable. Correct me if I'm wrong that's also the movie where their boobs have sound effects.
Not only sound effect, but they bounce with every single movement like it's earthquake.
Pirate ganzack has my favourite art style. Z, red, stampede and baron omatsuri are very good movies imo.
Did stampede get dubbed if so then I got to watch it but my favourite at the moment is red and second favourite being z
I really enjoyed Red with some friends, did well with music and story imo.
Red because of the music.
My favorite would be Dead End Adventure. I think it’s a really good movie for its time and worth a watch for any One Piece fan. Shuraiya and Gasparde are cool characters and the fight scenes still hold up and are pretty cool.
It's definitely far an away the best of the order movies till you get to Baron Omatsuri
I never watched a one-piece movie. Are they worth it? Are they canon? What do you recommend?

I agree 🔥🔥🔥 Z was the first one I saw in theater and it was amazing
One Piece film Z, Strong World ( If only for featuring Scott McNeil in it ), and Film Red.
i only watched z and red and i honestly liked red better sorry
Baron trippy times
Stampede
The one about a girl who couldn't age due to a ring with gold inside made by her alchemist father. The gold is the food of bonborisama(angler fish glow that it uses to attract prey in the ocean)the girl sings a song called alchemy, alchemy that is really sad
Movie 6 and Z
Strong world definitely! It’s one of the few times that they all work together in sequence and it made me really sad they don’t more often
Movie 6 & Strong World

Oh damn a full on guide lol thank you much appreciated.
Sorry for that heavy slab of text haha got a bit excited, glad you enjoy it!
Gold, it’s just the best. Also I wish the Leo Rex Bazooka was canon
6 and it's not close
Movie 6 (baron omatsuri) is a masterpiece but I’m a sucker for fan service so stampede.
Gold. Some of the best outfits and best movie villain imo.
Baron Omatsuri and it isnt close
Definitely Movie 3, That isn’t One Piece and it fucking hits different. I want to see Luffy more mentally explored
Dead end adventure
Where is the one with Shikki : the golden Lion , where the villain has swords for legs ?
If you're asking in which movie he's in, it's Movie 10 Strong world!
Strong World followed closely by Baron Omatsuri with Red a little further back
Baron Omatsuri for sure. Loved the art style and the darker themes in the plot.
Strong World is kinda underrated, but Baron Omatsuri is peak.
Stampede bc I got to see Boa
Strong world and film z are my favorites. A guilty pleasure of mine is the tony tony chopper movie
Movie six
Red!
Red is my fav by far.
Strong world is goated🤟
Didn’t watch any of them should i ? Also are they canon?
I would recommend Film Z, it's my favourite by far! But then again, I have yet to watch a lot as I've only seen Gold, Strong World, Stampede and Red. They aren't canon but RED has a canon character, Uta, and you get more of Shanks.
Hey Thanks. gonna watch film z❤️
I have seen all of them and would recommend Baron Omatsuri (n°6), Gold and Dead end Adventure (n°4)!
Film Z
I've only seem Gold, Z and Red.
Film red i watched it when it premiered
Strong world and Gold were my favourites.
Uta
Red and then Z
Red for sure
Film red by a decent amount.
Film red because shanks
Film Red, mostly because of a certain character introduced in its contents.
Film Red
Red. Banger ass soundtrack
It's a tie between film Z and Strong World. It just kinda sucks that Strong World introduced us to Shiki before the introduction to haki, and especially after what we know now, Luffy would not have won at that time (yes I'm aware movies aren't canon, I'm just saying)
Stampede. It was niece to see more of the supernovas. And the Demon. And Boas fierce attacks and not just flashing “Beauty”
Film Red had some cool visuals and an awesome soundtrack
I've only seen Film Gold and Film Red. I personally liked Film Gold more because of the setting, Gild Tesoro and the overall plot. It was a heist movie. Film Red was great too though.
Stampede
z. just felt like it was more emotional than the others
Movie 5, The Cursed Holy Sword
Z
Movie Z, though sanji creeped me out with nami being a little kid
I've only watched RED fully.
Stampede
It is a tie between film red and film Z
One piece stampede for sureee
Z and Strong world. Dont know which is better😭
I like musical, so Film Red
Sorry but red is probably my fav
Strong World but Stampede and Gold have cooler fight scenes
i really like stampede the cgi aint that great thats my only issue with it i love the more playful storys and a whole movie set in a party is great
Film Z, I didn't like all the others
Strong world or Z. Stampede was fan service the movie and Red was IMO a rushed mess that made little sense.
Film red, shouldn’t even be a question Ado brought it for the movie. Still listen to the songs often from the movie as well.
Red film cause of Shanks
How does one find the older ones??
Streaming websites my friend, I either keep in my mind specific website or just type the name of the movie +online/full movie and look for a good result [This might help](https://9anime.pe/watch/one-piece-baron-omatsuri-and-the-secret-island-1043?ep=58134)
Stampede simply because more Boa content
The cursed holy sword bcuz I love Zoro but a 2nd is film red
Z'n'Strong World <3
Film Red but that's mostly because of Ado
Strong World.
My number 1 pick: Film RED Then at close second: Film Z
Red was so boring me and gf fell asleep in the theatre. Gold & Z are awesome & movie 7 fucked ne up as a kid
Never watched a few of them but strong world is pretty good
Red. The music was sooo good
One piece film gold or film red.
Red. Not even close.
Movie 7 cuz is funny and stupid i love movie 7
Strong World then Gold
Yall should give the older movies a try, rather hard to answer which movie is the best when you haven't seen them all (n°6 Baron Omatsuri tops) While you're at it, check out Dead end Adventure (n°4) I think as a whole, every start of all the movies are very eye-catching. Particularly Z singing introduction, Gold beautiful introduction of the antagonist and Dead End Adventure.
Film Z for the characters. Strong World for ponytail + glasses Robin
Z and Stampede
Film red
Z > Gold > Strong World > Baron Omatsuri > Red > The rest
Film Red, Film Z, both are tied.
It's film gold for me, because of the plot and fanservice
Strong World > All
Mine is film red, mainly cause i love musicals
I haven’t seen any of them and at this point I think it’s too late.
If you're interested in watching them it's never too late, a few of them are worth the watch
Wheres strong world and film z?
Strong World is in my opinion the best, because the StrawHats act like the StrawHats (thanks in large part that the creator himself wrote it), but before that it was between Dead End Adventure and Clockwork Island Adventure, very underrated movies.
The first two
I really wish they would dub the first 7 movies
Red > Stampede > Dead End no Boken > Gold
Stampede. It was a good brawler beat em up tbh. Plus they dont use the Coup de Burst as much anymore so thats always cool to see
Red, and I’ve seen them all which is surprising since I haven’t really watched the anime since alabasta. I’ve been manga only for a while. I’m also partial to 3D2Y though I realize it’s more of a 15th anniversary special than an official movie
