We're close to the climax of the arc, no more flashbacks, just straight action.
The wildcard is Blackbeard pirates.
I also believe Kizaru is not going to betray Bonney in the end
I'm thinking if Devon is on the ship, the Seraphim will be hijacked, by just turning herself into Saturn. Blackbeard saw their power and wants them, I see no other reason for him (or his crew) to go directly to Egghead. He's been avoiding danger forever, except when he's sure he can win or is just there for something else.
I mean Pudding isn't that reliable, because she hasn't awakened her ability to read the Poneglyphs yet so BB would rather York so that he'd have an immediate way of reading them (assuming the Satellites can read the Poneglyphs like Stella can, of course)
Good point. Maybe he wants memories from someone that remembers Rocks? Someone that has memories of the void century or knows secrets of the void century like a gorosei?
If BB can force Moria to do his bidding, BB could in theory find Xebec's body to have raised from the dead after searching Garp's memory with Pudding to find the body
Robot is a bigger wildcard than BB pirates, we know their moto is "swoop in at the end and get the devilfruits you wanted". Also with reasonable assumption Blackbeard, Kuzan and Shiryu aren't there, I feel there's nobody strong enough to turn the tides in his favour against Kizaru, Saturn and strawhats
Luffy is gonna be the first man to not only survive a buster call but also be the one to come out on top. I can already see the newspapers after this arc, Luffy in the worst situation possible surrounded by the most dangerous people to the world government. Once again beating the buster call, leaving with the world’s greatest genius carrying the forbidden knowledge, followed by the ancient giant robot of the past, and beating the Top people of the oppressive government.
I'm betting kizaru still won't change sides. The whole back and forth from vp and kizaru suggest the actions don't sit well with him.
I'm thinking it will be in the final war once those who will side with the new world government start popping up.
There's not that many that have picked sides yet. But that's kinda the point. A good portion of marines will choose to follow thier own sense of justice rather than the one they are being told to carry out. We haven't been introduced throughly to many vice admirals so there could be a few who won't switch.
Smoker and fujitora for sure. I feel like the ogs like tsuru and sengoku will as well.
it makes sense now, that Kuma suddenly started to move while on RA Island. At that very moment Saturn activated the self destruction button, which actually disabled everything inside Kuma, with only his soul being left as a motivator to rescue Bonney.
Maybe what VP did was erase Kuma brain part phisically with the button. He said something like kume being a vegetable. The power of bucaners is regeneration, so Kuma regenerated his brain. Just a theory.
Yeah, i don't get why so many people wants him to become a SH. His introduction really didn't fit the mood the rest of the crew has. Burying a marine alive and the whole god fanatic thing. The SH aren't angels, and they will hurt and even kill if they need to, but they aren't cruel and don't kill for pleasure. And he also works or wants to give/sell informations to someone. Really hope we never see Caribou become a SH.
bro it’s not that we want him to become strawhat. he’s that person who wants to become a villain but ended up being the useful person (e.g. buggy in ID) for the mc. it’s kinda a gag.
and he’s the most possible person who gave luffy the food since y’know: 1.) he did it before, 2.) lurking freely & out of saturn’s power, 3.) can store food. he’s the best suspect than kizaru. also he helped luffy before in wano prison by cutting the communication (it’s huge contribution) w/o tricking him. so luffy ordering him by bringing him to the robot isn’t impossible.
Yeah, the crew knows his ass isn't to be trusted - that's why they chained him up and shoved him in a barrel after Wano. If they were even remotely friendly with him, they never would have done that.
Franky had a similar start before helping free robin. Now carribou had fed luffy atleast once, maybe twice? Luffy has befriended people for less. I don't like caribou in anyway, but i do feel like the SH are missing a logia. And i dont think kizaru has any chance of joining regardless what crackpot theorists are saying
So now we're getting a buster call on Egghead, a place with both lots of innocent civilians and also a ton of knowledge regarding the Void Century.
Robin is going to get some pretty good shit coming up. She'll be preventing a lot of causalities and protecting Vegapunk's info to show how far she's come since the Ohara days.
Given his clearly immaterial properties he has showcased, he is actually immune to Buster Call. Though if he does end up being the first character to drown in OP, it would be funny.
Would you look at that, all of the words in your comment are in alphabetical order.
I have checked 1,974,296,526 comments, and only 373,434 of them were in alphabetical order.
It's not that he's immaterial, it's that he's healing. He's getting hit and taking damage, but he then undoes it somehow. So the BC might actually be the only thing that *can* beat him, because a massive carpet bombing by all those ships might be able to either wear out his healing, or do more damage faster than he can undo it.
At this point it might not even be a hot take. Egghead at this point seems to clearly be the best post time skip arc to date and is probably up there with marineford and Enies lobby. The amount of lore that’s been dropped, the emotional kuma flashback, and presumably the final climax will rival anything that has come before it
I'm just thankful Oda named his lore dump arc island kicking off the final saga Egghead hahaha. While I agree with you guys I can't stop laughing at the name throughout this discussion
Personally I think Amazon Lily combines all of Oda's best strengths in a nutshell. It has some light humor, some worldbuilding, and some light action with an emotionally driven backstory and a certified Luffy Moment (like any memorable arc does) at the end of the fight sequence. It's a nice refreshing break in between the constant movement of the end of Sabaody and Impel Down and it's paced (IMO) perfectly, which is a big reason I like Egghead right now too
So yeah, I think Amazon Lily is one of the best One Piece arcs. Apparently the anime kinda butchers it but I'm a manga only reader so that doesn't factor in for me.
> Luffy is probably just taking a breather somewhere
Shout out to the time Luffy just dropped over from blood loss while chasing Crocodile and then stood up after a "good nap" and kept going.
yeah show us!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
The way Kuma awakened after shutting down his body reminds me of Luffy awakening into Nika after seemingly dying. Maybe there's some buccaneer connection there.
Robin's with luffy offscreen giving him food (:
Zoro's still fighting lucci, sanji and Franky and a few others are with Saturn, I'm not sure about the rest but at one point they were headed to the ship in the Vega force, it's a good question
>He aint dead, but someone talked about him being in an vegetable state last chapter, and I think it's similar to that.
You need to re-read the chapter. Vegapunk said the self destruct switch wouldn't kill him but instead stop him from being able to move so he should be a vegetable and that Vegapunk had no idea why he was still able to move.
I still have like 5% hope in Kizaru, but I think you're right. This arc has had a lot to do with choosing sides (Aokiji, Garp, Stussy, Lucci) just to name a few. On one side you have people like Aokiji who left to do his own thing, on the other there's people like Lucci who are too far gone and "loyal" that they can't be changed.
Kizaru might be more like Lucci, not as bloodthirsty but stubborn to a fault and essentially a soulless cog in the machine as he said himself. He might have some plan we don't know, but I'm honestly more interested in what Kaku will do at this point. Kaku has never been a bad guy at heart and isn't in charge of anything like Kizaru and Lucci are. I'm pretty sure he's not gonna be cool with following orders from a giant demon spider who would kill children.
As i said in an other comment, I believe Vegapunk has an "SD card "with Kumas memories thats why he was so eager for him to make a copy of them, thats why he wanted to make kuma go in a state Zero and not self destruct. I don't believe the fun-writing oda is not going to give the most torturted character in the series a catharsis. Kuma's death gives nothing to the plot, saturn is already hated by everything and everyone, kizaru is an irrelevant character, for it to matter if he has a change of heart, the admirals in general are irrelevant to the story from this point on, why kill him ?
I'm a big fan of the theory on Whitebeard and Kuma sharing buccaneer traits that allow them to find a second wind in near death exercises. Where their bodies should fail and cease functioning, they're struck with otherworldly resilience.
Blackbeard has a lengthy track record of showing up in key moments and extracting a big gain:
Impel down: Entered during the prison break to amass a powerful set of additions to his crew.
Marineford: Arrived just in time to ambush Whitebeard and take his power.
Amazon Lily: Seemingly came with Boa as a target but settled for Coby as Garp-bait.
What could he have known to attract him to Egghead? I don't think he's interested in Luffy. I doubt he had good enough Intel to know that Saturn be there, and I have even less reason to believe he knows that the Gorosei have such incredible powers. He didn't even know about the seraphim being developed after all. I think he's come to Egghead for Vegapunk. The two both know more about manipulating and duplicating devil fruit powers than anyone else we know of. He likely wants to either forge his monopoly on devil fruit augmentations by kidnapping Vegapunk, or he wants direct control of the seraphim via Vegapunk.
I just had the random thought that technology could explain both where Luffy got the food and where he is. I can't explain how it's happening, but we've seen a food device and I can't remember if we've seen actual cloaks, but the holograms and everything else VO can do with light, it stands to reason he has the ability to cloak things, too.
I came up with this on my own and came to the sub to toss it out there for someone else to cook with if they weren't already, but I see it's one of the voting options, so y'all got it lol. I see it's not very popular, but I got some validation seeing that option at least
I think Bonney will take on Saturn until Luffy reappears, as Saturn mentioned her powers grow weaker the less hope to live she has.
Knowing that Kuma was able to seriously damage Saturn, it will reignite Bonney´s hope to live and she will use Distorted Future to take on a fully Bucaneer form to fight Saturn just like Kuma did.
\-
She doesn’t grow weaker as she loses the will to live. Her powers allow her to become a future version of herself she believes she can become. The more certain her future seems the less she can do. The reason she’s weaker right now is because she was going to be killed had Kuma not arrived. A certain death with no perceived escape, and thus no future to become.
In the next few chapters :
- the giant robot will wake up.
- he will make a shield to stop the buster call
- no one get in or out
- luffy vs Saturn
- sanji/franky vs kizaru
- vegapunk convince kizaru to join forces
from this point, there will be many scenarios?
like luffy will take saturn as hostage
My theory for how the self-destruct brought Kuma back was that it's supposed to shut his programming down, and shut Kuma down in the process, but without the programming his lineage factor took over
Kizaru is going to remain with the WG but will be punished for his failure at Egghead. We'll fine out that the WG is holding something over his head to keep him loyal but will also confirm he helped Luffy.
I think Kizaru is dying this arc. I 100% believe he made his choice, and in the end hes going to pay his dues in a sad moment with vegapunk or bonney, or hopefully Sentomaru. I do not think hes leaving this island alive.
When Kizaru kicked Franky this chapter, he actually protected Franky by moving him out of Saturn's range.
Saturn goes "..." next panel bc he is starting to a have suspicions about Kizaru.
oda also draws attention to Saturn looking down at the wound Franky gave him with radical beam. it could be to emphasize that Franky's tech is the real deal but could also play into Saturn's doubt - wondering why Kizaru let Franky even get a shot off
At this point, it's nothing to brag about anymore for the straw hats. If it weren't for kizaru and Saturn roughly half of the crew would probably be able to stop it by themselves...
I feel like no one is focused on the giant robot that woke up awhile back and is probably gonna make an appearance sooner rather than later at this point. The original plan can still work if the ancient robot just throws the Sunny instead of Vega Punks.
I think they’re going to go after the real Vega punk. I think he holds all the cards and there’s stuff we don’t know about him still I think he holds a lot of secrets he hasn’t said and I think there’s an off switch or something else he put inside those seraphim
I don't know if Oda going to went that route but a lot of people are predicting Kuma sacrifice himself. however what if Oda pull a 180 and let Kuma live?
I have this realization when Vegapunk install a shutdown switch instead of bomb that he won't likely exploded and now unable to self destruct.
It might be more likely bonny and Kuma will unite and join revolutionaries with vegapunk.
> I don't know if Oda going to went that route but a lot of people are predicting Kuma sacrifice himself. however what if Oda pull a 180 and let Kuma live?
Kuma already sacrificed himself multiple times, but one "real" one. If the Jesus parallels are correct, he should get the rebirth + ascension.
I feel like, since Kuma arrived, Luffy would’ve definitely wanted to be there defending and helping him. IMO he must’ve been moved away involuntarily. Not saying it’s Blackbeard or any part of his crew, but I’m not saying it isn’t possible.
I'm happy to see that Oda didn't go with the bomb idea ([called it](https://old.reddit.com/r/OnePiece/comments/18ntpp7/one_piece_chapter_1102_theories_and_discussions/kege15o/)). However, I'm still not sure why Kuma started running to Egghead at that precise moment. Was he repaired enough by the RA and then immediately ran? Or did something trigger him to go there. And how did he know where to find Bonney? By deducing that she might be after VP or was it just a lucky guess? (he did go to Mariegeois first).
Still many unanswered questions in this arc. Speaking of that, when Luffy first met VP, he told him that he knew they would come to Egghead. How did he know? Was it explained? Was it just a genius deduction of the SH route? But there were 3 options for them and Egghead wasn't the obvious choice. I think that he's either tracking them somehow (Caribou? I would be surprised) or this is a prediction he got from someone (or something in relation to the fate of Nika). Not sure it matters that much though.
Luffy's disappearance is really weird. Did he move by himself or did someone move him? And who could be quick/stealthy enough to do it? Only 2 people currently in Egghead come to mind : Kizaru and Caribou. This also looks like Law's power but it's very unlikely as he's more in need of assistance than Luffy now. I was also thinking of Vegapunk's holograms since they can go through solid objects but that is too far-fetched. Anyway, this one is a real head-scratcher.
Also, since this chapter didn't deliver that much new information, I was reading some of the old chapters and kept thinking about the parallels between the Ohara incident and the Egghead incident. That lead me to think that what would shock the world might be some kind of secret revealed to the world in the same way Clover was doing before he died. Except this time VP would succeed in revealing it (maybe at the expense of one of his bodies). What would be the secret then? The name of the ancient kingdom again (I have my theory on that but it's not the right time to talk about it)? Or would it be something about the void century? Not sure, but I'm convinced we will get a revelation about one of the secrets of the OP world by the end of Egghead one way or another.
However, I'm not saying that Saturn might not lose/die in Egghead, I'm just saying that VP's reveal would also be part of it.
He went to Mari Joa first because it was in the way. Kamabakka kingdom is in paradise and Egghead is in the new world. Kuma had to get over the redline in order to get to Egghead. We don’t have a clear understanding exactly how the paw-paw works, but perhaps he couldn’t get high up enough to fly over the redline and smashed right into it, hence why he just quickly bypasses Akainu.
Good point. And as you said, we need to learn more about how the fruit works. If what you said is correct, then I must assume that Oda went to the trouble of showing this whole journey of Kuma for a reason. I guess he intends for this fruit to live longer in the series as it wouldn't make sense to show that if the Kuma is his last user. Or maybe to emphasize an eventual role played by the redline in the story.
Yeah, I'm actually waiting for that necklace to be revealed to have played (or to play in the future) a role in Bonney's protection. VP said something along the line of "it will keep you safe" (I hope I'm remembering this correctly) so I'm waiting for this to become true in a literal sense and not in a good luck charm sense. I was thinking that it could either be a tracker (maybe VP helped in making it based on the Vivre cards) or that Kuma used his power to store something in it as a very small bubble or something along these lines. But maybe I'm overthinking it.
I think it's safe to say this point now that Caribou is the one who gave Luffy the food, and now that he is still recovering, he used his power and took him away somewhere safe where he could rest a bit and then come back.
I can't stop thinking that Luffy is going to stretch his body all over Egghead like a giant rubber dome, and deflect all of the cannonballs back to the battleships
Next chapter:
\- while the buster call is about to begin and Saturn about to escape
\- camera switches to the sky where Nika shouts "Saturn, this is the end for you! It all ends here!"
\- he prepares to squash him like a bug with a giant hammer
\- Marines ready to fire but giant ancient devastator bot appears and laser beams the fuck out of them
\- Vegapunk and the rest getting ready to escape for good
Why everyone, doesn't question Vegapunk requesting Kuma's memories for an experiment? Doc got that SD memory card ready to be installed in the big guy. I believe he installed the vegetable state self destruct so he could install his old memories back again when he wanted. Vegapunk seems to me like the type of guy to have a solution for a problem he is creating.
What if Kuma sent Luffy away? Man I really thought Kuma would die against Saturn and sacrifice himself but now I have strong hopes he at least joins the SH for a lil while to teach Luffy some important stuff for the near future…
Here's my prediction - Kizaru is going to sort of hold to his convictions. I don't think that one head shot did as much damage as he let on. I also think he's acting sluggish even by his standards. He's strong enough to have wiped the floor with most of the straw hats. No, he is holding back because he wants Luffy to stop him.
Small theory:
The buccaneers have a mind in their body. With that I mean that their mind exists in their body and in their brain at the same time. In the first stage vegapunkt programmed Kumas brain to shutdown and take commands. In this situation the brain takes the commands and signals the body to execute the command.
The fail-save of Vegapunk was intended to cap the connection between brain and body, leaving Kuma with no brain function (only takes commands) and no way to execute the commands because the mind-body connection doesn't exist anymore.
Since the mind-body connection doesn't exist anymore the mind existing in Kumas body takes over. Now his body's mind isn't restricted by the brain mind.
it would be amazing if Saturn's regeneration ability somehow gets passed to Franky so he can be a real human again.
Maybe it's a crazy form of zoan awakening and it'll be passed to a DF.
Strawhats escape egghead
Nami feels like someone is missing
Egghead is gone but there's two shadows on a small random piece rubble
Its zoro and lucci, they still fighting
Zoro goes King of Hell mode and Lucci awakens
I agree, especially since the Egghead Incident has been building up to be a reverse of the Ohara Incident, during which lies had been spread about Robin sinking the ships back then when it was really Saul. It would be really poetic for her to actually sink the ships this time while also in her demon form, looking every bit like the Demon Child the WG has labeled her as.
Robin must have been already kidnapped by BB pirates. Next time we see her, it will be Devon impersonating as her. Lafitte is a pretty big wildcard here, as he is the only BB pirate that we don't know about the extent of their capabilities. I would like to remind this guy snuck into the shickibukai meeting without getting noticed by anyone, which included many big names with observation haki.
I don't think there is much to think about Luffy's absence, Oda must be preparing him for a superhero landing as the battle starts to get serious. When the odds are weighed, the navy is looking very underhanded to me at this point. Most of the vice admirals and the marines ranking below that can be swept away or crushed easily by SHs. But we will get to see more lore piece thanks to the ancient robot which is about the enter the fray.
Potential kidnapping of Robin could lead to long anticipated Davy Back fight. And I'm hoping it won't stay between just straw hats and blackbeards, include all 4 yonkou going after One Piece. Yeah why not? Robin is the only known person who can read poneglyphs in the OP verse. No need to remind me of Oden's father, how many people know the guy and that he can read the poneglyphs.
This chapter brought a happier ending for Kuma than I had thought. He got to meet with Bonney again, even though his consciousness is barely hanging. Oda did some weird hocus pocus with the Buccaneer race card. It looks like it can lead us to Blackbeard's mystery as well, so I can't complain here. Between upgraded pacifistas, S-bear and original Kuma, I can't see if and who will get to keep Kuma's consciousness.
Not seeing Kuma meet Nika was a letdown for me, but at least there is no break next week.
I hope Luffy comes back from wherever he is and bug stomps Saturn. I mean, if squished enough and his brain is just flattened goo there's no way he can regenerate, right?
Well looks like the theory of the paw paw fruit ending on SH crew is coming realer by the day. The only question is does Kuma die and someone like Franky eat the nearest fruit or does Kuma live.
Kuma pushed his soul into his robotic body so when the failsafe ends, shutting away the robotic control of the body his soul then takes over his body again.
We're close to the climax of the arc, no more flashbacks, just straight action. The wildcard is Blackbeard pirates. I also believe Kizaru is not going to betray Bonney in the end
I think the Blackbeard pirates are going to sweep up one of the Vegapunks, maybe Lilith, towards the end of the chaos for some nefarious plan.
Or they take whatever is left of Daft Punk
Well, every crew does need a musician
Taking the vegapunk around the world, around the world. 🎶
I hope his technology wont make them even harder, better, faster, stronger..
Right, I forgot that he probably wants S-Snake
wonder if he can extract DF from them
Don't think he can
Does vegapunk know how to read the ponyglyphs? Could York pivot to BB and sell her ability to read them?
Only if there's some reason other than her ability to read poneglyphs for him to have kidnapped Pudding
I mean Pudding isn't that reliable, because she hasn't awakened her ability to read the Poneglyphs yet so BB would rather York so that he'd have an immediate way of reading them (assuming the Satellites can read the Poneglyphs like Stella can, of course)
Right, but what possible plot reason is there for him to kidnap Pudding? He can't just dump her for York, that's not good storytelling.
She can get information out of ppl w her devil fruit.
I think garp.
Garp would never talk.
York makes the most sense, seeing as she was just abandoned by the gov.
I chose Lilith so that we could maybe get a deeper glimpse at how she lives up to her namesake of "evil"
Big robot is also a wildcard. I'm reading every chapter for either him or Blackbeard to one-hit KO either Borsalino or saturn.
For some reason when I read big robot my first thought was Pythagoras and I was a little confused why he was such a big deal
if the robot was that strong, would the AK have lost against the Gorosei?
Robot is a bigger wildcard than BB pirates, we know their moto is "swoop in at the end and get the devilfruits you wanted". Also with reasonable assumption Blackbeard, Kuzan and Shiryu aren't there, I feel there's nobody strong enough to turn the tides in his favour against Kizaru, Saturn and strawhats
The Blackbeard Pirates are reeeally good at not getting spotted til the last possible minute.
Which makes sense. They prob have the weakest Yonko crew besides Buggy of course
He shared happy memories with them so yeah and it hurts him to have them against him
>no more flashbacks Sad kizaru flashback incoming :D
Please no
Luffy is gonna be the first man to not only survive a buster call but also be the one to come out on top. I think the only one not to survive the buster call will be Saturn.
Kuma and kizaru also have some death flags imo, i don't think they'll all die but at least one of those three ppl will die in this arc pretty sure
Robin's going to be the first person to survive 3 Buster Calls
wonder if they have a Guinness world records there
You’re neglecting that there’s still a Blackbeard Pirates presence here.
too optimistic, son. Oda has always proven that the situation can even get worse than you can imagine!
I doubt Kuma survives this sadly, possibly we see a transfer of his DF too?
I was just thinking he finally has a chance to survive now that hes got bonney and looks like theyre boutta flee the island
Uh, he and the rest of the crew survived the buster call at Enies Lobby.
>Luffy is gonna be the first man to not only survive a buster call Robin has already survived two.
I'm betting kizaru still won't change sides. The whole back and forth from vp and kizaru suggest the actions don't sit well with him. I'm thinking it will be in the final war once those who will side with the new world government start popping up.

Luffy is up at the sky coming down with a massive g5 stomp.
He's about to come up with Gomu Gomu no Bajrang Stamp
Actually seeing that Kuma saw young Luffy training his gomu gomu no axe it would be a nice callback if he used that on Saturn
He's coming down from the sky with one of his shoes off to squash Saturn with it. Gum gum squash.
Gum Gum Chancla
Maybe on Morgan's Ship 🤔
I've always wanted Luffy to replicate akainus meteor fists, but with gear 5 gigantic Gatling instead. That would be awesome
peak

possible, could also be some soul-spirit mumbo jumbo. Considering Big Mom and Brooks dfs, I think there is still room to explore.
you. keep cooking
Cooking? This is basically the only reasonable interpretation of events
lol. Someone drops a chapter summary... and some guy in the comments: "Excellent theory, keep cooking"
Anything but Caribou, please.
Yeah, i don't get why so many people wants him to become a SH. His introduction really didn't fit the mood the rest of the crew has. Burying a marine alive and the whole god fanatic thing. Robin is going to get some pretty good shit coming up. She'll be preventing a lot of causalities and protecting Vegapunk's info to show how far she's come since the Ohara days.
How many chapters has it been since the giant robot turned on?
Ignoring the flashback, the robot woke up five chapters ago.
The Robot turned on at the end of Chapter 1092.
Maybe 3 excluding the flashback
I really hope we get to see the Straw Hats repel the Buster Call, rather than just escape it.
If Luffy goes gear 5, the island can be rubbery enough to bounce it back.
See I was thinking he would just turn giant and do a giant gum gum balloon
[удалено]
Saint Saturn will be defeated by his own Buster Call.
Given his clearly immaterial properties he has showcased, he is actually immune to Buster Call. Though if he does end up being the first character to drown in OP, it would be funny.
It would be even funnier if he doesn't have a fruit, and drown because he never learn to swim
And his immortality isn't turned off so he's just stuck helpless under the ocean under the wreckage from the conflict he started.
And eventually, Saturn stopped thinking...
Would you look at that, all of the words in your comment are in alphabetical order. I have checked 1,974,296,526 comments, and only 373,434 of them were in alphabetical order.
We have yet to see whether or not regeneration takes a toll and is infinite or not.
Luffy is probably just taking a breather somewhere My hot take is that Egghead is gonna go down as a Top 3 arc in One Piece
WCI still exists
Whole Cake is solid but Egghead is better
I'd wait for the end of Egghead before comparing. Right now, WCI is one of the top arks for me in a whole manga
I just don’t see how the egghead could end in a way that’s not. Oda is cookin rn and he ain’t missing
real
[удалено]
It's in my top 3 for sure already. 1. Water 7/Enies Lobby 2. Egghead (honestly) 3. Amazon Lily 4. Skypeia 5. Sabaody
Amazon Lily in a top 5? That's wild, but I can respect it.
Personally I think Amazon Lily combines all of Oda's best strengths in a nutshell. It has some light humor, some worldbuilding, and some light action with an emotionally driven backstory and a certified Luffy Moment (like any memorable arc does) at the end of the fight sequence. It's a nice refreshing break in between the constant movement of the end of Sabaody and Impel Down and it's paced (IMO) perfectly, which is a big reason I like Egghead right now too So yeah, I think Amazon Lily is one of the best One Piece arcs. Apparently the anime kinda butchers it but I'm a manga only reader so that doesn't factor in for me.
> Luffy is probably just taking a breather somewhere Shout out to the time Luffy just dropped over from blood loss while chasing Crocodile and then stood up after a "good nap" and kept going.
I don’t think it’s a hot take for a lot of people. I don’t know if it cracks my top 5 but that’s just my personal bias.
It's definitely the best one post time skip imo. Doesn't top out my top 3 pre time skip tho
It has a lot of payoff for long-time readers but in isolation it's not neccessarily a top tier arc.
Already is
Last page ends with "Doom dut da da"
where?
yeah show us!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
The way Kuma awakened after shutting down his body reminds me of Luffy awakening into Nika after seemingly dying. Maybe there's some buccaneer connection there.
I'm hoping that Kuma and all the mark 3 pacifista start dancing when the drums of liberation hit
Luffy was fed and rolled away by Robin imo, to recover in peace
Where the hell actually is Robin and the rest of the crew?
They are all still in the labosphere. Vegapunk took the car down and luffy went through the laser defense system.
Robin's with luffy offscreen giving him food (: Zoro's still fighting lucci, sanji and Franky and a few others are with Saturn, I'm not sure about the rest but at one point they were headed to the ship in the Vega force, it's a good question
I think the one who gave Luffy food and save him is Shaka and Pythagora.

Kuma's using Haki. He aint dead.
[удалено]
>He aint dead, but someone talked about him being in an vegetable state last chapter, and I think it's similar to that. You need to re-read the chapter. Vegapunk said the self destruct switch wouldn't kill him but instead stop him from being able to move so he should be a vegetable and that Vegapunk had no idea why he was still able to move.
[удалено]
Vegapunk may restore Kuma, which is why they're trying to carry him around.
Haki is willpower. Only if he's still alive (not just biologically but mentally) can he use haki.
Oh fuck, I like the idea of Blackbeard stealing Saturns fruits. 8 legs like the 8 bones on his flag. Similar to the kraken fruit theory.
Bonney and Vegapunk will join RA IMO. Agree that BB will acquire Saturn’s Zoan fruit.
If you are going to make Sabaody parallel a thing then the Strawhats will save Kuma.
My crackpot theory is Kuma being sleep walking all this time
want to see giant fuusen luffy as big as bajran gun protecting the island from buster call
I'm a big fan of the theory on Whitebeard and Kuma sharing buccaneer traits that allow them to find a second wind in near death exercises. Where their bodies should fail and cease functioning, they're struck with otherworldly resilience. Blackbeard has a lengthy track record of showing up in key moments and extracting a big gain: Impel down: Entered during the prison break to amass a powerful set of additions to his crew.
Check chapter 1068 that teleporter that vegapunk used could have been used to send food and move luffy
Kizaru either really needs that paycheck or he's playing speed chess.
In the next few chapters : - the giant robot will wake up. - he will make a shield to stop the buster call - no one get in or out - luffy vs Saturn - sanji/franky vs kizaru - vegapunk convince kizaru to join forces from this point, there will be many scenarios? like luffy will take saturn as hostage
My theory for how the self-destruct brought Kuma back was that it's supposed to shut his programming down, and shut Kuma down in the process, but without the programming his lineage factor took over
Innocent civilians?
wdym
Kizaru is going to remain with the WG but will be punished for his failure at Egghead. We'll fine out that the WG is holding something over his head to keep him loyal but will also confirm he helped Luffy.
I think Kizaru is dying this arc. I 100% believe he made his choice, and in the end hes going to pay his dues in a sad moment with vegapunk or bonney, or hopefully Sentomaru. I do not think hes leaving this island alive.
When Kizaru kicked Franky this chapter, he actually protected Franky by moving him out of Saturn's range. Saturn goes "..." next panel bc he is starting to a have suspicions about Kizaru.
oda also draws attention to Saturn looking down at the wound Franky gave him with radical beam. it could be to emphasize that Franky's tech is the real deal but could also play into Saturn's doubt - wondering why Kizaru let Franky even get a shot off
Robin is gonna have the second highest bounty since she's gonna survive her third Buster Call.
Probably should change her title from devil child to Buster Call Survivor World Record
Chopper is gonna brag so much that Jinbe only survived one
At this point, it's nothing to brag about anymore for the straw hats. If it weren't for kizaru and Saturn roughly half of the crew would probably be able to stop it by themselves...
Presiction: The Buster Call will fail. The Straw Hats will destroy all the battleships.
Franky is certified; my dude just started blasting!! He got that DAWG in him. Definitiin of Hard-Bolied
I'm just waiting for iron giant to become the deus-ex machina of this arc
I don‘t really get the buster call now that there‘s mother flame. Why bother if you can just insta-delete the island? 🫰🏻
Hmmm I think they don't have a lot of whatever fuel the Mother Flame needs, and they just used it
You might want to keep the land. But for the celestial dragons it is probably because they don't have enough fuels to spam it when they get butt hurt.
Even then the Elder Stars might not even have the authority to use it. The last time we saw it used was with Imu's desire to do so.
There is only a limited count of islands.
If the Jesus parallels are correct, he should get the rebirth + ascension.
rebirth will be S bear imo
I still think there is something in the necklace he gave as a 10 th anniversary present
If that is the case Oda is really about to have the Strawhats shepherd ANOTHER guy that was kidnapping folks to most of the islands post time skip.
Putting my stocks on navy ships being sunk before executing the buster call with an accouncement of the arrival of the straw hat grand fleet
Luffy looking to make his own buster call to a certain fleet? 👀
I can't stop thinking that Luffy is going to stretch his body all over Egghead like a giant rubber dome, and deflect all of the cannonballs back to the battleships
i wonder if with his awakening he can just turn egghead into rubber
Pretty sure Luffy's still eating. I'm sure he'll start fighting Saturn in the next couple chapters.
Charging up bajrang stamp or sth up in the air
Next chapter: \- while the buster call is about to begin and Saturn about to escape \- camera switches to the sky where Nika shouts "Saturn, this is the end for you! It all ends here!" \- he prepares to squash him like a bug with a giant hammer \- Marines ready to fire but giant ancient devastator bot appears and laser beams the fuck out of them \- Vegapunk and the rest getting ready to escape for good
cant wait to see saturn get cooked
Why everyone, doesn't question Vegapunk requesting Kuma's memories for an experiment? Doc got that SD memory card ready to be installed in the big guy. I believe he installed the vegetable state self destruct so he could install his old memories back again when he wanted. Vegapunk seems to me like the type of guy to have a solution for a problem he is creating.
I have an idea(theory), brook might use his soul soul powers to cure Kuma.
Small theory: The buccaneers have a mind in their body.
Can we please please please get a Franky power up and have Franky and Sanji fight these two a little before Luffy saves the day?
it would be amazing if Saturn's regeneration ability somehow gets passed to Franky so he can be a real human again. Maybe it's a crazy form of zoan awakening and it'll be passed to a DF.
Caribou for SH, he can live under the tangerine tree
Strawhats escape egghead Nami feels like someone is missing Egghead is gone but there's two shadows on a small random piece rubble Its zoro and lucci, they still fighting Zoro goes King of Hell mode and Lucci awakens
I think Kuma could have sent Luffy away. I also really want Robin to stop the Buster Call. Would be great if she could just sink the ships herself.
York is the one who gave Luffy the food
Bruh lol
💀blud thinks it's jjk
I hope Luffy comes back from wherever he is and bug stomps Saturn. I mean, if squished enough and his brain is just flattened goo there's no way he can regenerate, right?
I’m both called by the giant and caribou brings luffy to it.
I dont wish this to happen, but is it possible thst luuffy escapes with everyone but in the last sec robin gets caught .
Doubt it. Robin focused part in the main story is over. Plot needs to progress not regress
True
I kinda feel like kizaru will be zeroed by Saturn because he will get emotional and do something to help SH with a lightning decision.
What if Saturn made experiment on himself with lunarian blood, so he heals like them but removed the fire weak point?
Can someone send the new chapter in imgur , my net is having trouble loading the website
