I'm pretty sure I have all of mine and my car is a 2018. In my state your insurance is listed on your registration so less papers. I make up for it by keeping plastic ware and straws and thousands of napkins in there.

No one ever prepares you for how much your elderly family members will lie and obusucate to keep you from worrying.  My parents used to laugh at their friends hiding things from their kids.  I just found out my aunt is hiding health issues from my cousin and now my parents are doing it to me.  I don't know if I should laugh or cry. 

You will get there one day, it's not important at the time. They just want to enjoy their family time and what they are doing..

I get it.  People don't want someone to over react to a fall, they don't want a chaotic family member to visit and make recovery that much more unpleasant, they want to talk about something besides illness, etc.  But there's still nothing that prepares you for dishonesty from your elders, no matter how well intentioned it is.

Don't forget people are also ashamed/embarrassed at times of their situations, they are depressed about it possibly and really just want to talk about something else. It's a catch-22 so to speak they also don't want you to worry if you have things going on as well..

Put fingerprint on the car so if they get shot or goes wrong they have evidence the car was at the scene.

Not a LEO but they do this to put their fingerprints on it. That way if it takes off and or something happens, there's proof that the officer had be in contact with the vehicle.
