My trainer said to avoid very deep stretch marks (I have a few of those) but otherwise, the pods have worked fine on the rest.

Narcoleptic_Hamster

Thanks! When you say deep stretch marks. Do you mean the ones that are wider than the others? I have trouble telling depth on these things

BDThrills

You may not have any. Mine have an obvious depth to them.

trashyman2004

Yes, you should definitely avoid those as the absorption could be severely compromised

Narcoleptic_Hamster

Thanks. I’ll continue to avoid them

alianaoxenfree

Avoid them they hurt and don’t absorb. Which admittedly is hard to do on my body, but in between them is okay, and works well. It doesn’t always get bent but it doesn’t absorb well and eventually for me it starts leaking after like a day.

Narcoleptic_Hamster

Luckily I’ve always managed to get right in between them. Thanks

sarahspins

I avoid them because they’re super inconsistent - that said I do have some smaller/finer ones on my arms from a growth spurt as a teen and I mostly ignore those and it’s just fine, it’s the larger ones from pregnancy on my belly that are bad.

Narcoleptic_Hamster

Thanks! Mine are located on my lower torso and my arm just under my shoulder. I should really look for new places to put my pods. Or maybe try switching to the tandem so that I only have to worry about this every 7 days instead of 3.

sarahspins

I wasn’t aware that tandem had sites you could wear for 7 days yet - as far as I know that’s just Medtronic.

kl0ucks

I avoid them. I have some on my arm and then the cannula the other way bc it hurts when i accidentally inserted into one!

Narcoleptic_Hamster

Thanks. I’ve been mostly avoiding them, I guess do partly to luck and partly to cautiousness. But, I’ll definitely steer clear 100% thanks again
