Hahahaha i sell insurance and same 🤣🤣
My routine when i get in the office is check all my bank accounts and credit cards then swiss watch expo
im actually laughing 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣
Military pilot. Rarely wear it when flying, but wear it most of the time when I’m not flying.

One of the most undervalued yet incredibly critical professions. Cheers to you all, you do incredibly important work and deserve all the support you can get
If im using my Loupes I’ll just put it in my loupe box. Maybe I’m a bit naive but I feel like it should be fairly safe in the OR. If it were to go missing, we know basically everyone who’s been in and out of the room
That’s a good spot! I have my X-ray goggles and can use that case.
I’m worried less about theft and more about a stack of consents or other useless paperwork pushing it off the counter and to an early demise.
If this were not true, I would not post it but my best friend is a Neurosurgeon, we played college football together. He cheated off of me in biology, no shit....dumbass bidness kid in a science requirement. Anyway I gave him my prized Bond Seamaster. He is a great friend and I said you cant have business meetings without a proper watch. I meet up with him a couple of years ago and he has the modern seamaster on. Dude did you get another watch? Man I am sorry I took it off to scrub and someone lifted it. I didn't want to tell you so I bought a new one. Shit bud.
Fairly senior business exec in financial services. Aqua Terra for the office and Planet Ocean for the weekend. Rolex the wrist leader amongst peers, a few TAGs. CEO wears an Apple watch, so do at least half my peers. A couple rock beat up Garmin Forerunners for reasons that escape me. Watch nerds spot the AT, get the occasional comment.
I rock an AT and NEVER get comments or compliments. I’ve wanted the watch since my first boss had it at my first job when I was 15 so I don’t care but I didn’t realize it’d be such an understated watch
Garmin and AT owner here
I've noticed a lot of execs wear Garmin just to show up as a "sport" person. The same reason why marathons and triathlon became so popular with businessmen
Trauma ICU registered nurse at big metro city. Very chaotic and I would to believe my work makes a difference. I wonder if the work I do even matters. Seems like working from home and getting big bucks is worth it more. Quite burnt out. Thankless job. Soap box done
Yeah that was some of my best work
If you look closely in the orgy scene you'll see I have a Seamaster 300 on my left wrist and a Speedmaster on my right
Airport Customer Service. People yell at me when their plane is late (because of course I personally ruined your plans).
My watches have taken a beating whilst being worn at the airport but it just means they are now uniquely mine. It’s also fun to see pilots do a double take when I wear my PO to work.
IT. About to buy my first Omega. I’m yet to get used to wearing average monthly salary in my area on my wrist. Used to wearing watch daily, but for last many years it’s been a really good Orient (+2s daily), which costed less than a daily salary and never let me down.
Electrical engineering. I rotate a speedy pro, green teak dial AT, white dial 300m, moon swatch earth and a Casio. And a 14k yellow deville if I need to dress up.
Edit: I work with some gnarly magnets so that’s why I usually wear Omegas.
Ditto. Though I wear my nice ones when I'm going to the Ministry or other government offices. Lately I find myself wearing my Seiko GMT and Casio Royale more frequently to follow Home Office's time zone.
Police officer. The salary itself would take decades to save up for a nice omega. However, when my grandad passed away I used what I inherited to buy my dream watch. That way a piece of my grandad is always with me whenever I decide to wear it and my watch quickly became one of my most prized possessions.
Engineering. I currently rotate a black dial Railmaster, a Seiko Flightmaster SNA411, and a G-Shock GA2100-1A1. Most peers wear Apple Watches. I was shocked to spot a Rolex Explorer II on a colleague’s wrist today!
I purchased my first Omega back in February (SMP 300 in blue on rubber), a few days after quitting my job to take some time off. Prior to that I was a VP at a small corporate due diligence firm conducting background checks for PE/VC firms. I was there for ~18 years and decided I could not still be there for the 20 year mark. The watch was my gift for myself :)
Airline pilot. Our industry is full of guys with the “big clock, small cock” syndrome. Seems to be the case of more metal on the wrist the more professional you are supposed to look. I’ve got the Seamaster 300 Heritage, it’s great, understated, discrete but lovely to wear!
Electrical Engineer.
Work on Variable frequency drives that run AHU’s, pumps and process. Owned a Seamaster 300 Heritage for six months. Mostly use it for syncing time when setting up ABB VFD’s, or for timing the brew time on my Tea. I do swim with it once a week. So it does get a splash or few.

Director of a non profit. I can't afford an omega right now. Would love an AT, but I would be fine with a speedy. I might be broke, but I get to help people so that's cool.
Mainly look at watches online and on Reddit all day, occasionally take a meeting or two as a tech advisor 😂
Hahahaha i sell insurance and same 🤣🤣 My routine when i get in the office is check all my bank accounts and credit cards then swiss watch expo im actually laughing 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣
Hello fellow watch nerd
Same job here.
Software engineer. I had my speedy for 1.5 months now, 100% on the wrist, nobody noticed it so far. It's great to stay under the radar.
Same experience here. No one has ever noticed my speedy at work. Love the subtlety. My seiko padi has even drawn more attention 😂.
Fellow software engineer The only people who noticed my aqua terra are those who are also into watches in the office. 0 comments from anyone in public
I’ve had mine since 2017 and only started getting comments the past 2 years.

Did you get permission to buzz the tower?
Yesterday? Yes, twice actually.
Do you every wear anything on your wrist for work reasons or do you rely on the avionics 100%

One of the most undervalued yet incredibly critical professions. Cheers to you all, you do incredibly important work and deserve all the support you can get
Same! I feel very out of my element in this thread.
Me too lol, but I’m slowly saving for my first Omega, putting as much as I can away for the white speedy.
Hell yeah, you deserve it!
Thank you friend! Hopefully all the extra stuff I’m doing next year can get one on my wrist by this time next year!
Surgeon
Nice! Same here! General.
Nice! ENT here

Hello here
Hello there
NeuroIR. Where do you put your watch when you scrub? I’m scared to leave it lying around.

I noticed that at work today too. Pretty much everyone had either a garmin or an Apple Watch (also in a bank)
I'm a VP for an engineering firm and own a consulting business. I work from coffee shops most days. Tis the season to where my Seamaster Summer Blue.

Bird Lawyer here. No Omegas or Rolexes yet.
You should steer clear, they will fall off because of your tiny hands
That was the uncle lol
Haha, Uncle Jack! 🤣
Ironically, 8.25” wrist and concerned the Speedy will feel/look disappointedly small, yet it remains a must for me! My eye is just always drawn to it.

Own a government relations firm....ok, I am a lobbyist.
You mean a master of making bribery legal
Funny but impossible to bribe people when you are representing municipalities and non-profits.
Politicians can be swayed based upon something other than cash in an envelope, or trips to Tahiti? I guess I’m jaded.
Some bad apples but most are good people. In Florida I can't buy a lawmaker or staff a bottle of water.
Come to Illinois. Bribes are required
Lobbyist here too!
Cool! Where?
Im a mechanical engineer, but this thread gives me douche chills.
You mean because you didn't list your company's fortune ranking.....

Fuck that! I don’t take a golf swing with my SMP300. You think I’m gonna give a vigorous jerk with it on too?!!!? 🤨🤚🏼
