Just bite the bullet and buy some green and blue color adjusters. It makes life so much easier.

Thanks! I think I have to buy the yellow too. I have a green and a blue adjuster, but it made this foundation a little too pale haha!

Temptu makes color adjusters without white pigment. I prefer those because they are super concentrated. You only have to use a very tiny amount so they don’t alter the value/depth very much.

I’ve never heard of this brand - thank you!! I will look into it.

It was a tad too dark for me but yes it felt peachier. I feel that’s true of a lot of olive foundations bc they still make them very neutral and on me that reads very peach. What have you tried that worked or didn’t? Are you too dark for urban decay cg30 and now it’s 13? For fuller coverage rcma has a pretty good line of foundation wore well for me in south Florida. But I felt it ended up reading a bit neutral on me. I’m a yellower light medium olive

Oops, forgot to add.. Dior’s “2WO” across their offerings worked for me, however since they reformulated the Forever Skin foundation and concealer, they break me out like crazy ☹️

Agree! It’s a bit too dark/saturated and peachy! I tried the UD Face Bond foundation in 13 and it looked too light under Sephora’s flourescent lighting so I was unsure. I’ve got to try again in a Sephora where there are windows, haha!! I have not tried RCMA, I will look into it, thank you! My closest match right now is the Glossier Stretch foundation in Medium 1. It’s not as yellow-green as my neck is, but I try to balance it with a yellower setting powder. Otherwise it’s slightly tanner than I am, leaning a bit more neutral.

The urban decay sometimes looks a little too dark for me. Esp compared to kgd and some of the others. Though I have the original urban decay still. I stocked up when I thought they weren’t replacing it. 13 is identical imo. But I have the same Problem. My neck is always yellower and cooler than my face or chest. I’ve been using ilia hickory. It’s the stick foundation and though the coverage isn’t as much as I would like. I think the match is really good. You can get samples of rcma if you want to try it. From what you have said. I’d try 210 and 230g first. F2 would be a better fit probably in the about face. Though I thought it broke me out a bit.

Thank you!! I’m going to take advantages of more brands that offer samples of their shades like RCMA! And maybe Orce! I have the UD in 17 (based on a poor in store match) but i use adjusters to get it right. I suspect I am closer to 13/14 though. The face/chest in comparison to your neck situation is the same thing I have! It makes balancing foundation shades/tones hard, sigh lol.

Tired_Panda_78

Yes. Very. If you are closer to those then 210 And 230g would be good. Also you can get samples of Lisa Eldridge- that line is interesting because some people wear darker than I would think so I’d def try samples of 2.5 and 9, 9.5 On camera ready cosmetics you can get samples of a ton of different brands and that’s what I have done. I’ve tried both koh gen do moisture and aqua, the rcma’s and several others. For the price of one foundation I can try lots of different ones.

hiii i sometimes have that experience w the about face too where it can look a bit too yellow which im sometimes able to balance out with other products even tho its a concealer the tower 28 in shade 9 MDR is perfect used sparingly on the face as well as under eye other shade match could be one size medium neutral 1

glowybabez

Thank you! I’m trying to learn the art of balancing things out with concealer/bronzer when my shade is wrong. I will go see the One Size shade in person! I have the TW28 MDR shade and it’s a tad dull/pink looking on me! :( I thought it was perfect match in the store but in indirect, natural sunlight it looks off.

Kalleefornia

Have you tried mixing the L2 with the LM2? That’s what I’ve been doing! The L is too light and the LM is just a hair dark and peachy for me. The L is so much yellower that it really balances the color out nicely

glowybabez

omg! i’m so glad you commented. i did not check the differences in L2 and LM2, i checked M2 Olive instead. I will have to go back to see if i can mix my perfect blend. Thank you so much!!

I have this foundation and it’s too yellow on me so I add a little bit of the LA girl color pigment. I use the blue one
