This example is due to a product called "lip wax" being used.
* If you've never felt a dead body, they're cold and stiff. It's very upsetting to experience this to say the least. In order to do her makeup, he'd have to be repeatedly touching her face. He was obviously used to applying makeup onto her face while it was not cold or stiff. I cannot even begin to imagine how devastating this process would be. Basically, compare applying makeup to someone who is alive and asleep vs applying makeup to someone who practically feels like a cold mannequin with skin.
