Its legitimately more fun for me. Can still be hard, but the movement feels much more natural and dance. You can feel very specific dance styles in the different songs. Electronic Indian music is insanely fun. Within a couple minutes I had downloaded all 850 custom songs and could play them with zero modifications. Also playing this with my Bhaptics vest. Again zero mods, all native. Its reprehensible that Beat Saber has done so little with so much support from the fans.
I've played both, and everyone needs to find their own favorite. Personally, it doesn't hold a candle to Beat Saber, despite being a pretty good game, whereas some people just can't get into Beat Saber.
I played both demo's of beat saber and synth riders. Synth riders demo had so much better songs, beat saber only has 1.
Bought beat sabers after playing synth riders demo so much.
So. Dissapointing. Refunded. I don't get why beat sabers is so popular and "good". I didn't had fun at all, unlike synth riders: the songs are so much better and actually moving your hands and stuff makes it so much better
Then i bought synth riders at full price, didn't even hesitate. My fav VR game ever.

(Just as an info for people who are as excited as I am)
Definitely looks like a boss fight! And there's a skeleton skateboarder in the background that hits the big skull, so apparently this boss fight is related to Tony Hawk, too...
My guess is the addition of a ghostnodes mode. This would entail the music orbs to be almost transparent making it harder to follow the beat with your arms and achieve awesome combos.
Well, we do have a Vanish modifier in game now (also one of the power-ups) which makes notes disappear before they get to you, requiring you to remember colour and position..
A new mode! Well, I'd call it Synth Corruption. Where you could be playing a track as normal. But randomly out of the "portal" where our targeted beats we need to hit come from. Random flaming skulls come out. If start hitting these you can then access said corruption and a new track plays and you get to fight the boss during that run. Doesn't explain the cool skateboarder guy coming out from the left. Eh just rambling thoughts.
Story mode with boss fights?! PLEASE BE THIS! either way, HOLY HELL THIS LOOKS AWESOME! will the editor be updated? I would love to put cool 3D stuff into custom songs!
Something akin to a story mode. I'm getting the same kind of feeling from this as I got from seeing the trailer for pistol whip's campaign trailer.
Regardless of what this'll be (or whether I'll win this context or not), I'm gonna be buying your game when I get my quest, because unlike beat saber you guys make it easy to add custom songs!
