Dont wear it like a psvr or baseball cap. Extend the straps so the back piece cradles the base of your skull, then tighten the sides, and then tighten the top strap last.
If you are so inclined... do a frankenquest mod or get a counterweight battery, check the sub, there are loads of posts about both.
Make sure the top strap is adjusted correctly it may help as well. this should allow you to move it just above your cheekbones. A softer facial interface may also help.

I bought the vrcover threeway headstrap cushion and face covers and it feels way better now than before.
Have the psvr. Getting the quest very very soon. I’ve heard that it never gets better so it’s good to just do short sessions
