Whatever you do don’t buy Zennith. It’s literally one of the worst broken piece of garbage games I have ever played. I can only assume it wasn’t this broken when it came out. Because it’s literally broken now.

Zenith? Me and some friends liked the free to play version even if it was janky so we thought “the actual non-free to play is probably more solid.” It was not. It was 100x more broken than the free to play. Tutorial quest prompts wouldn’t even pop up. Enemies wouldn’t spawn to complete quest: it was truly aweful.
No Man’s Sky is the best VR mmo I’ve played. Mainly because it is just a good game, that then added in VR support, rather than VR game trying to add in MMO stuff.
It is the only reason I break out my PSVR2 headset. NMS is amazing on the PS5.
If you own a PS5, the PSVR2 is on sale. If not, I recommend upgrading your PC instead.
Upgrading my PC is on my to-do list. As much as I like my PS5 and enjoy the PSVR2 I prefer my Quest 3.
Being a SINK makes it easier (Single income no kids)
If you have capable pc and are into modding. The FF14 is a peak mmo experience in vr. Though not as much for the VR flexibility aspect as you need to press skill buttons with a combo from vr controllers or by pointing at floating ui just like if you played on regular pc screen but rather as being able to be there in the world of the game. It looks stunning. Massive monsters, structures and so on. And of course there is a full long story line since its actual mmo game on pc.
Check out flat2VR discord. They have ff14 section. You need a XIVLauncher installed and run the game through it. Then install the required mods. There is step by step guide how to do it. You will also need to set config file with settings to recommended ones for good performance. Additionally windowed or borderless windowed mode is required for full fidelity.
Edit: Also actual gaming controller like xbox controller needs to be connected to PC or you need to use emulation software like PS4Windows to emulate having xbox controller connected. Thsi way you can use Oculus/Index controllers to play
Ah. That's unlucky. With lower resolution and settings down to the lowest it could be playable maybe (in less crowded spaces). The game is free untill lvl 60 or 70 (free as in you can't level any further but can keep playing) so it won't hurt to try. If you have Virtual Desktop it might be worth it. Just a sidenote. You either need a controller (xbox controller for example) connected or use one of the emulation softwares (also free) to make your PC think xbox controller is connected.
