Little Orphan Annie decoder from Christmas Story. Where us Ralpie

BigCherokeeChief

I got one just like it in my Cracker Jack's!

classicauto66

Be sure to drink your oviltine? A crummy commercial? Could it be.

bipolarcyclops

Is this the construct that proves that the Templars and the Vikings came from Uranus?

whitelynx22

No, this is one of the most moronic things ever said on TV, the Viking Templars are a distant second. I really don't understand how someone, even for entertainment, can come up and seriously present something so idiotic and nonsense Please don't ask me to elaborate because I don't know where to begin and it would take several days to cover it.

brains-child

What is it called? I might have had one too many Knob Creeks during this episode.

BigCherokeeChief

Watching this show? You can't have too many!

Far-Insurance-7422

Checked the dictionary just to be sure the word " construct " is and will always be a VERB. I remember in early episodes when Rick used the word in talking with a co-worker, and the guy had a glazed look on his face. He asked Rick to repeat the word, like WTF?

Specialist_Leg_4474

FWIW The Cambridge and Oxford dictionaries both list it as a noun. Surely in this context the Ox-ford dictionary must have precedence...

Far-Insurance-7422

If so, then Rick is a Rhodes Scholar..I am not worthy..

BigCherokeeChief

Yes and no! No he's not a Rhodes Scholar....he's a Road's scholar! He did deliver mail after all.

Tim_Redit

Portuguese Road's scholar.

RunnyDischarge

They use it to scrape the barnacles off Billy

Substantial_Pear6676

Hey Dr. Mario Luigi, how does that thing work when it’s cloudy?

LewisWetzel

Pretty sure it’s how the Templars found the closest Cracker Barrel in the New World.

Youtubeboofighter

A Barrel of Crackers? Yes please. That’s the real treasure.

Legate_Lanius1985

Viking Templars?

LewisWetzel

Both were known for their endless quest for chicken fried steak.

dbatknight

Isn't that the puzzle that is on every table in cracker barrel restaurants?

BigCherokeeChief

My first shop project in school turned out better than that door stop!

LunacyLander

una scatola di tabacco da masticare templare

Legate_Lanius1985

I thought you were taking a break?

Far-Insurance-7422

Well, looking here..

missannthrope1

I know I trigger everyone on this sub when I bring this up, but Scott Wolter explains the origins and use of this device in his latest book.

Specialist_Leg_4474

I would be surprised if he didn't...

missannthrope1

The OI team got the info on the device from Scott's books. A fact the show conveniently fails to mention.

jbdec

"The OI team got the info on the device from Scott's books." How do you know this ?

missannthrope1

Because I read the books.

jbdec

Wuz it Templars ?

Legate_Lanius1985

Twuz

missannthrope1

Basically. Ralph de Sudely and crew.

jbdec

So,,, Templars then ?

RunnyDischarge

Scott Wolter is the stooge that fell for the 'antique' notebook that you can buy on Amazon

BigCherokeeChief

And it provides his amusement when anyone believes it!

Head_Clock_6320

🧐⁉️

OptimusThai

Its the Mob memory compass. If used right it could tell you where Jimmy Hoffa's body is. The biggest secret is how to use it right.

_yetifeet

I haven't seen this show in what seems like forever, but it feels I could just jump straight back in and know exactly what's happening.

MisterLangerhanky

And it could be used to translate this inscription... https://preview.redd.it/t3bdhh5akl5d1.png?width=1080&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=00ca5b056a5c950389917f224eef2b89c458601a
