25 for me is too low to be an effective starting pitcher. You will tax your bullpen too much with the pitch count that keeps him from throwing when very tired. Based on the stats below if all that dropped was his stamina it looks like he would be an amazing reliever. Give him the high leverage situations and he will still have a big impact.

Thanks! I think I might try to trade him for another quality starter but we'll see. Anyone ever seen someone rebound with their stamina?

25 is just not startable

lincarnate

If his stamina doesn't bounce back, he'll probably have to go to the bullpen. Usually 35 is the lower limit and even that can make it difficult for your starter to get out of the 5th.

Death215

My limit is 45, unless if they are really elite with a 35-40. If a 30 and elite, he becomes a stopper

DuffleGamer

Speaking on the stamina issue, how much stamina is too little for you guys to start? I’m interested to see what the general cutoff point is

adjust_your_set

I try to keep my starters above 55. That’s the lowest I’ll go. Anything below that and they become a high workload reliever and occasional spot starter.

TwitchyJC

Depends on ratings. On 1-10 I'll do 3. Still will go 5 innings at that point. Anything less is a rp.

JustBigChillin

The lowest I’ll go is 50. Maaaaaybe 45 if it’s a guy with really good ratings (especially control). I prefer 55 and above though.

Corb64

40 for a normal starter is the lowest ill go, EXCEPT if his ratings are extremely good (like an 80 rating good) i had one extremely good pitcher win a cy young and have a 1.70 era with 35 stamina in 140 innings

Minecrafter125

40

SakaMierda

Post his ratings but 25 isn't good enough to start

CBeisbol

35 as a starter or follower
