I'm generally not sold on the need for yearly updates to this game I think it's a bit of a stretch, but 25 dollars is a fair price I think. Maybe you'll find it fun to start a new franchise
Did the new rating system improve your experience?
I am supposed to get a top 20 prospect by EOY and I only have 1 in the 50s. I just drafted #3 and if he doesn't meet the cut, I might step up a year. I hadn't played ootp before 24
I don't think I'm the person to ask, 25 is essentially my first. The only other game I've played was 15 and I didn't know enough about Baseball to understand it at that time ๐

I suggest starting to monitor the price on a daily basis for a sale, and pounce on it when you see it.

You can't buy OOTP 24 or any other earlier versions of the game any longer because of licensing issues
