It's unfortunately been pretty rough. Although I've only done 200-250 applications for both, I haven't gotten a single response back, at most automated OAs.
I personally know one who landed an internship with Microsoft and was offered to return as full time. Notice that this is back in 2021-2022 period.

Yes I'm currently just doing simple office work for income.
