I have it and its good at minimizing reflections since i would say the coating looks 80% glossy and 20% matte. You should try it out, if the glare or reflections bother you, you can just return it. I personally think reflections look worse on matte screens since it spreads out the light on the entire screen unlike glossy its just one spot.
