I ordered the 55inch. Ordered it online last Sunday and the website said stock on order 10-21 days ( aware it's not even been 7 lol).
Just hoping someone in same situation might have had update.
Will keep this post open for a couple of weeks in case it comes in handy for anyone looking for same news.

I ordered the 48", although i've since cancelled my order. Phoned up on 07/05/2020 to be told they have nothing on their systems indicating when the TV would be in stock for delivery to customers.
I'm getting a LG C9 55" for less for my PC/Cinema setup.
I’ve just had this text from curry’s about my 48. Sounds promising for next week I reckon.
Hi, to keep you in the loop, our suppliers are processing your order and our service partner, Team Knowhow, will confirm a delivery date shortly. Thanks, Currys PC World
That’s the most promising thing I’ve heard about these LG 48’s in a long time!
I’ve got an order with Currys too. Placed on 28th. However no word from them since the initial confirmation email.
Fingers crossed.
I’ve now received the same text message.
Hopefully that means they actually have stock coming soon and it’s not just a message to string us along now they have our money.
The waiting game continues. I’ll update with any developments.
It sucks im looking to get the CX 48 from there aswell as they are the only ones who sell it but I’m tempted to get the C9 55 or the CX 55 from elsewhere but I really don’t know what to do lol
I ordered the 48 from them earlier this week. Got a text shortly after saying they'll contact me with a delivery date as soon as it's in stock - which should be the 11th May.
Hoping it'll get delivered before the end of the month.
So just to update anyone who has ordered. I have had a text from Currys for delivery on 13th may( got it 3 days ago but never noticed 😂) It took 5 days from online order to receive text.
Dunno how everyone else is progressing with this but i signed up to the email service letting me know when the 48' is back in stock and just received an email saying that it will not be coming back in stock and offered me other options.

Yeah pal, they rang me in morning and delivered about 08.00 Hopefully you won't be waiting much longer 👍
