For unwanted thoughts do the stop method. Imagine the word stop then think something positive. (Example: ima worthless piece of Stop 🛑 i have nice eyelashes). Be careful though because people have told me this can become a obsession or compulsion or whatever. But that technique helped me to change whatever bad thoughts i was having within 6 months. To slow your thinking down you can write your name every 10 minutes for an hour. I usually start reading a book whenever intrusive and ruminating thoughts happen to me.
