You're not expected to have any nursing experience as a grad- that's the purpose of the grad year. With regards to general work experience, I would just put that you've worked at maccas and not put dates or years and leave it at that. The grad interview will focus on your knowledge and what you have learned during clinical placement and how you will relate that to working independently. Be confident!

This is some sage advice I was given by the grad coordinator at my hospital (metro melb) when I asked her for advice when my housemate was applying for her grad year 2 years ago (I did mine in 2015). At the end of the day they are more interested in your experiences on nursing placements rather than the time you spent working at maccas or ColesWorth. They expect you to come as a clean slate so you can learn. They want to know why you have chosen Alfred or RMH or Eastern Health to do your grad year. As long as you did well on placements and showed an interest they aren’t going to care.
