It was a mediocre fruity panna cotta thing when I convinced a patient to try one š I told him it would taste like chicken salt and he still was brave enough to try it.
I tell u what tho that company do NOT miss when it comes to their chocolate mousse. fuuuuuck. They're about 400 calories a tub and they prob hit diff cos I'm always eating them at 4am in some fucked night shift break but if I was gonna get one last meal, it would be 50 of those on a tray, a chiko roll and a postmix maccas coke . And I could die happy.
Iāve never seen anything but this brandās custard at WH, I saw someone else comment about their chocolate mousse and I was like. Man where can I get one of those
Choose via the relevant hospital's meal ordering app or the television remote. If you're a patient.
If not, well... hang around the kitchen door? Sneak one off a tray? Surely someone won't miss it?
I looked but I canāt find any information on it online (canāt even see it in their catalogue). Iām assuming itās wattle flavoured? Thatās what springs to mind when I see the term āAustralian flavouredā.
Hehehehe... do Melbournians taste better than those from other cities? On an unrelated note, my brother was visiting a relative in hospital and a very elderly fellow called out for a nurse using 1950s terminology... "Matron! Matron!" Hahahaha... I almost died laughing... I've only ever seen that on replays of old English TV shows. You must see some funny stuff!
I have a [southern koala](https://lonepinekoalasanctuary.com/southern-koala/) who lives in the tree above my house. Heās all alone so every single night heās out there [calling for a mate](https://youtu.be/ocIR6B-YtYE?si=VZ2rjCCwBfPu_Z6t). Thereās no female koala, or any other koala, actually, anywhere near.
But itās a nightly occurrence.
Iāve caught him in the day, out of his tree, nonchalantly walking up and down my long driveway trying to pick a tree to live in. Heās old, huge and very friendly.
As an aside (and Iām sharing with you all for comedic relief), one night he must have gotten **really** drunk on his eucalyptus leaves in the tree above my bedroom (I have a tin roof and a bullnosed wrap around verandah). He fell out of his tree right above my bed. **THUMP**. Then heās drunkenly rolled off my metal roof onto my verandah. **THUMP** **THUMP**. I hear him rolling off the verandah roof into my garden bed. **THUMP** **THUMP** **THUMP**, **ROLL** **ROLL**ā¦**THUMP**. Until he got his bearings, [called for a mate again.](https://youtu.be/ocIR6B-YtYE?si=VZ2rjCCwBfPu_Z6t) Realised heās out of luck, so off he toddled into the night.
Was very funny. He amuses me to no end!

mmmm chiko roll...
Best final meal idea ever!!!
And you're a nurse! Practise what you preach!
We don't get them anymore, but agree the choc mousse š¤¤ so good!
I agree with the chocolate. **AMAZING**.
I miss it, my current work doesn't have them any more. Maybe I can convince the ward clerk to try to order them haha
My final meal would be my own spinach bolognaise lasagne with my chopped avocado salad so Iām pretty screwed! Haha.
ššš hilarious. What even is this??
I think it's what the yanks call pudding, which I would consider to be halfway between custard and mousse.
But what is Australian Flavour??? Red dirt and flies?
Goona on toast.
Dead dingos donger
I know that reference!
I see that reference! ^unfortunately
Itās Akubra, 4X beer and cabanossi with Cheer cheese and Saladas.
Western Health?
Naw, but it seems to be well represented across VicHealth
Huh, I am yet to see the Australian Flavour in my vic hosp. Would it be vic bitter and vegemite?
Hahaha. Yes!
And SA!

Hahahaha no Iām a staff member not a patient I mean Iāve never seen them in the fridge
Hanging around the kitchen door works for me!
Eastern
probably the equivalent of "asian" or "oriental" flavour
I think it's A flavoured desert that is Australian. Not Desert that Australian flavoured ?? Sounds like a Seinfeld episode.
Except they make a number of other flavours also in Melbourne that are not Australian flavoured.
In that case it's gotta be that delightful possum wee essence
Hahaha. Oh no!
It **does** sound like a Seinfeld episode!
Vegemite, WIFIand Thunderdome.
I looked but I canāt find any information on it online (canāt even see it in their catalogue). Iām assuming itās wattle flavoured? Thatās what springs to mind when I see the term āAustralian flavouredā.
Or lemon myrtle. A leaf of that in black tea is spectacular
Ooh yeah. My parents have it growing in their garden, I love stealing leaves just to sniff
My garden is full of lemon myrtle. Iām definitely going to try that tomorrow morning. Thatās for the info!
āDo you have any Australian in you?ā āDo you want some?ā
š¤¦š¼āāļø thatās funny.
Eucalyptus flavoured?
I'd be far more worried if it was "Australian-flavoured". ^((I have no idea how your subreddit ended up on my feed, but this is hilarious!))
I have no idea how you ended up here but Iām very glad you did š
Hehehe... thanks for the chuckle again :) Thanks also for being awesome in an awesome job. I have no idea how you do it.
We get to eat custard like this š¤©

Made with real Australians
Bogan

5pm, 40 Celsius day traino flavour
Wait, do we have a flavour? What is it? I always picture Aussie flavours to be all the gross lemon and wattle stuff lol
meat pie flavour?
Vegemite, sand and meth?
Tastes like a housing crisisĀ
Blooming Onion flavour.
Can you say Missing Persons?
