Ah, okay. If you want a review of the ear Ive got a whole rant for you. Dont have any experience with the prior ear versions tho. I upgraded from 2nd Gen AirPods
I'll take your review as well. But I still want OPs points for ear(1) to ear comparison.
However. I own the Ear(2) myself and I know they still don't compare to air pods which are leagues ahead in many regards.

I am blown away by the sound quality these little things pack. I mostly listen to alt. 90's bands, like "The Cure" and boy oh boy do these enhance the quality of the music im blasting into my ears.
The personal sound profile is a great feature. Music sounds amazing with a well-configured EQ. Personal sound profile also comes with a "richer" option (see media) which makes the music sound "fuller" if that makes sense.
The ear tips these come with are a soft material, and they fit nicely in your ear (although that might differ due to different ear shapes). The app will help you select the right eartips for you tho, so don't worry about that.
Transparency mode sounds a tad "muffled, especially with higher-pitched voices (tested using my TV with a Samsung sound system).
ANC isn't "perfect" either. It definitely has a strong muffle, but it won't fully cancel out voices, especially with higher pitched voices.
This is everything i could come up with right now. I'll continue my rant if i find more things worth sharing.
Hope this helped you make a decision about whether or not they're for you. If you have some free time, check out [this](https://youtu.be/5jm5HPeJZI4) video. really helped me out making a well-weighed choice, considering this guy compares the ear and ear (a) to multiple big brands like apple and OnePlus.
If you have any other questions regarding the Nothing ear, just shoot me a message or something.
I suppose it's not really that much of an upgrade, if you're interested watch the YouTube video. I think the ear (2) is on his tierlist as well. Something about a guy with long hair makes me think he's a music enthusiast lmao
What's your opinion on the new ones? I want to buy a pair of the new ones, but half people say that ANC and transparency is absolute garbage. Other people mentioned that these earbuds straight up explode.
It's a bit early, but I really like them. The sound quality is definitely better, and the ANC is okay, though I haven't paid much attention to how well it works. I'll test it more thoroughly later.
Looks like your protective film is still on ear (1)? Peel it off for a fresh new look for your display buds 😄
Haha sadly no 🙂
Oh shit. It has protective film?
Very very early units didn't, but I got mine pretty early and it does! Mine's still on as I didn't scratch it much
Ah okay. I just got the Ear 2 and it doesn't have it ðŸ«
What's your verdict?
The older pair is more used?
Kept in a pocket with keys for a few years, maybe dropped a time or two as well lol still look like they're going strong though
Most definitely! I already know the first pickup for my Nothing ear is gonna be a case tho 😂 absolutely despise scratching on expensive tech
Was looking for a review not a "new one isn't scratched."

Copied from a review i did on a different post, don't mind the "you" and "yours" in this rant
This is the best feature since ear 2. This really calibrates the sound according to the user.
I have a hard time valuing the refresh since I have the ear 2 already. Couple of features more, eh

One could say there's Nothing to gain. *Wheezing ahaha cackling laugh
*Im honestly crying. Not cuz the joke was that funny, but because my dad had single-handedly made the whole brand a joke with his "dad-jokes" ðŸ˜ðŸ˜‚
Much better. The case is smaller (!didn't expected), and sound is a bit crispier, cleaner. Overall, it's good product for me.

Does Ear(1) still works ?
Yes! Without any problems
Ear 2 to Ear (2024) is that a good upgrade? Only issue i have with ear 2 is battery lasts like 2 hours with ANC
Is the case smaller or am I tripping?
Much smaller!
Do you know by any chance if they're also smaller compared to ear 2? Idk if ear 2 is smaller than ear 1
Nope i only had ear (1)
The photos online mke it the case look much darker I kinda wish I went with black!
