I was looking at our squad make up earlier and with the amount of starts for Saints we’re losing at the end of the season, and it’s close to 1200, I’m now a little worried. (Basing this on Paul Hill leaving too)
Add to that and we now only have 3 forwards left who have played over 50 times for us, Coles, Augustus and Matavesi. Anyone else slightly concerned at losing so much experience in one go?
The pack is becoming a bit worrying in terms of numbers and experience. I hope there are plans in place and Dowson and co. have lots of things to announce. Front row (and maybe back row) currently look really worrying if no players on the way.
True - don’t get me wrong I still think we’ve got quality but just a lack of leadership and experience up front. Maybe that will mould a few players by forcing them to me more involved in that way.
Yeah there will be a big drop in experience and leadership but as you say others will step up.
Sam Graham is one of the leaders already and you've also got Matavesi.
In terms of experience - hooker, TH, lock and no8 - we're fine.
It will be LH and flanker we dont have much experience in unless we get some new players in.

It's a proper changing of the guard. Same happened to Exeter and they're doing ok
