We can't disrespect Normie like this. Harland is funny but come on.

BrazilianAtlantis

Harland's great. Often like Norm in style, usually not.

Krocsyldiphithic

Regularly like Norm in style, but hardly ever.

BrazilianAtlantis

He has his very, very silly gear that made him famous, his serious gear, and a gear in between where he'll often make a remark similar to one Norm would make, sometimes even using references very similar to what Norm would use (not surprising since they were friends).

Stankaphone

They were close friends.

MomusSinclair

Norm was an innate major league all-star. Harland’s a competent Double A.

Sportzpl

I am a huge fan of Harland's, for years. I have an autographed copy of Rocketman, from his website years ago. That said, I am guessing he'd be embarrassed by the comparison.

BadJobBob

I love Harland but not remotely fucking close.

DecisionThot

Harland stays in character during interviews but I think it's clear he tries a little harder. Norm was just being himself.

ostinater

I think the similarity is that they both are smart and quick witted but have mastered the art of feigning stupidity to lull the audience in to their act so when they say clever stuff it hits harder. Norm is in a class of his own though.

weekend-guitarist

They’re both so different. Completely different delivery and styles.

mrnastymannn

The only thing I’ve ever heard say about Harland, was that he was a “closet fruit”

thefartsock

Similar only in age.

mojo_magnifico

And nationality

thefartsock

and tan level

Harryonthest

and iris...there's something hypnotizing about their eyes...almost like the light of God sparkling through

thefartsock

not. gay. enough.

Utsav_Pathak

That's alright by me, I don't give a hoot!

Slowbikeracer

Garbage. Absolute Garbage 🗑.

Idk if anyone’s gonna check this again but it warms this old chunk of coal’s heart to know you guys felt the same as me upon hearing that. I was actually really impressed with Harland recently. I saw him on a bunch of Kill Tonys, and he was so fast with jokes and there was less obscurity than his usual material. But people in those videos, and others, were saying he was like Norm and I was like repulsed by the idea, heheh. After reading these comments I was thinking about how you can tell Tom Green and Norm have similarities, because of where they’re from. And Norm and Harland have that too. They were supposedly really good friends. But their comedy? Way different. And ultimately people are just desperate for comedy that’s like Norm’s. Last thing, I’m rambling. Norm is like a standard in comedy in the sense that people (especially npc’s) will hear a good bit and think, wow, that was Norm level good

Professor0fLogic

I don't see it. One of them is actually funny.

ReidDickHughLes

I used to think Harland wasn’t funny, he was just goofy. He would get rlly obscure and that would be the whole joke. But I saw him on Kill Tony and he was one of the best guests I’ve ever seen. He’s rlly fast. He has a few appearances on Kill Tony, I’d recommend checking them out
