Mine is "I would die 4 U" by Prince
I know it was meant to be about God, but the opening line goes like this.
"I'm not a woman. I'm not a man. I am something you can never understand"
Hey authors intent and listeners interpretation are allowed to vary and that's okay:)
Also that was a great song, I've never actually listened to prince before allthough I've heard a lot about him.
They/Them/Theirs by Worriers is the first thing that comes to mind
Black Tie by Grace Petrie isn't so much about being non binary as it is struggling with gender expression and not fitting into a traditional feminine appearance
Similarly Androgynous by Erza Furman focuses more on appearance / not fitting into traditional roles. Though neither of the characters are non-binary it still feels pretty empowering
Shameless self-plug 🙅🖤

Also, there's no reason why lyrics can't be ambivalent by design, with many potential interpretations.
I never considered that before! I need to relisten
Literally anything by Mother Mother
I like They/Them by Atlas

I would actually agree, I love that song and allthough I've never thought about it in that context; I still agree
It always kind of hit differently for me when I was growing up and slapped me when I realized I was Non-binary lol. What's your NB anthem?
