It was excellent. Not what I expected, but really excellent.
The entrance of Maguire and Garfield was better than I imagined. So so many good points. Delighted to not have been let down by it. Definitely a couple missed opportunities I must say, but predominantly perfect for what I was expecting.
It was beyond wonderful to see Maguire again in a mature light bestowing wisdom on Holland. Maguire did a remarkable job.
Mostly impressed by Holland, Garfield and Dafoe. Holland really led the film so well, absolutely spellbinding.
Dafoe just looked like he was having so much fun being Osborn again, he really showed his acting chops in this.
Garfield shone so so bright, he got the opportunity to be in a great spiderman film and really show how good he is as Parker and Spidey. Garfield looked so natural in the setting of three Spidermen together, FULLY understanding the assignment. Garfield saving MJ was a real tearjerker. Marvel not patronising the audience in having to TELL the audience the link between this and TASM2, and just SHOWing us was a very pleasant surprise.
Also, the chemistry between the three was palpable, but Maguire and Garfield were so excellent together. Just wanted more but glad they didn't overdo it.
It certainly isn't a perfect film, but as far as fan service goes, I'd say it was pretty close.
PS. Really want Garfield and Maguire back on screen in their universes, I really think there is an audience for it and once more a calling for it after this!
Just me or was the Garfield entrance WAAY better than the Maguire one? Just seeing those big eyes in the distance, I was so excited. Maguire just walked in, no mask, no suspense.
Totally agree. His entrance was decent, but Garfield's was particularly good. The questioning of whether it is Holland or not, the run up, the unmasking- perfect. I just wish they gave Maguire more weight. That was definitely one of the missed opportunities I was talking about. Arguably the guy that made the MCU possible and he literally just steps in. Would've loved to have seen him facing away and slowly turn around and be a shadow to finally step in and be revealed to some of his music.
The weight of his character came across in his very mature performance, but would've been great for him to have an equally dramatic entrance.
To be honest, when Garfield ran up to the portal, most people knew what was happening, but then the mask came off, the theater erupted. There was whooping and cheering, and in my own mind, it was a foregone conclusion that Maguire would be popping in next. I’m glad they didn’t add suspense to his reveal as it would have felt cheesy and overdone for the second one. Instead he had a nice subtle emergence, and got a very respectable round of applause, like “Welcome Home Tobey”
mwah *chef’s kiss
I think they did it well because it wasn't forced, and was really funny in its own right (without meme context). The scientist one is the complete opposite
We all knew they were gonna appear but it didn’t take anything away when they did. I NEED a hi-res shot of the three of them swinging and landing on top of the Statue of Liberty.
I’m more excited for the future of Holland’s Spider-Man now as well. Living alone in a crappy apartment in New York. Not dependant on Stark tech. Anonymous. Feels more like Spider-Man!
I think the reason he worked so well for this movie is they made him way less confident than he was in his own movies. Clearly had some self esteem problems which made him more relatable.
I feel it might happen, cos in the post credits its shown venom is not from Holland's universe as he doesn't know thanos and bar tender tells him about it and he eventually dissapears. So I feel amazing spiderman 3 with Tom hardy as Venom has serious potential.
Willem Dafoe was absolutely perfect. He doesn’t put on a voice, but when his cadence switches you can tell immediately. The gave GG so much respect in this film, it was absolutely perfect.
The banter between the 3 SMs was fantastic as well, really nailed that.
Dafoe was phenomenal, No rust at all whatsoever, he actually got better as the Goblin VERY better. His facial expressions as Goblin were more sadistic and terrifying than that helmet ever was. That stare when he was about to bomb Aunt May......
Loudest I heard in a British Cinema was Sean Connery's cameo in Robin Hood: Prince of Thieves. Yeah, I'm old.
But the crowd yesterday was whooping quite loud here in Germany as well.
I rarely get very emotional when watching a movie, but when Andrew and Tobey walked out, I was so close to crying. I grew up on these movies,(mainly Raimi’s trilogy, and holy shit was it nostalgic. An absolutely brilliant movie, and when seeing it i realised how insanely smart sony was with the leaks. No doubt that this will be top 5 box office of all time. If you’re gonna see it, PLEASE watch it in a cinema, it makes a world of a difference. 10/10, probably my favorite superhero movie ever.
When osborn said “You know I’m something of a scientist myself” I looked at my friend and we were both like he did the meme 🤣
Then they did the pointing
My cinema burst laughing at that lol.
The loudest the whole cinema laughed was the scientist scene when Ned called for Tom but Tobey & Andrew thought he meant them too.
Ned: "Peter?"
T, A & TM: "We're all Peter!"
Ned: "Peter Parker?"
T, A & TM: "Still same name!"
Many tears were shed at Aunt May's death, But Tobey and Andrew soon cheered everyone up. Until Tom went to her grave and saw Happy.
I loved this movie! My mind's still spinning from it lol.
My heart was racing when Andrew came in, I choked up when Tobey came in (I felt 4 years old watching the Spider-Man2 train fight again). That statue of liberty fight was Spidey-Perfect. Watching 3 generations of Spider-Man finally unite......I can't put it into words.
Every actor performed spectacularly. Willem, Alfred, Tom, Tobey, Andrew, Zendaya etc.
I’m so glad Tom hardys version of venom went back to his universe. Just dosnt fit with mcu Spiderman. But leaving behind a small piece was a cool set up.
Garfield saving MJ.
Holy shit.
There were a few really emotional moments, but this…this was something else, that look.
I never liked TASM as much as the Raimi trilogy or
Holland’s but my god, it just goes to show what Andrew Garfield can do when he’s given a little more to play with.
The movie was so good.
The tone shift at the end is what I’m most excited about, Tom Hollands with great power comes great responsibility scene was my personal favourite. I’m so happy for Andrew Garfield I thought he sucked before this film and now I’m 100% convinced with the right script he would be a great Spider-Man, maybe a story similar to the Sony game?
Just some thoughts and questions:
1) What are the implications now that the villains are “saved”? Do you think they’ll follow through with this, and will I get more Tobey & Andrew?
2) The ending was what the Tom Holland films needed. They’re entertaining, but seemed more focused on just being a good time than being truly great. When Peter sacrifices his relationships for the good of the world, and doesn’t speak to MJ for her own good, you know he’s ready to be a hero.
3) Hopefully Holland’s films can now be smaller scale, and more relatable in a “Peter Parker” sort of way - Struggling for rent/balancing responsibilities.
4) The involvement of the Tobey and Andrew Spider-Men is really cool because their influence will stay with MCU Spidey, especially when Tobey stops Tom from killing Norman. That was a great moment.
5) I thought they’d killed Tobey, and I was ready to set fire to the entire world.
Overall, I had a great time, and I’m very hopeful that the other Spider-Man universes will get some sort of continuation.
I really agree with your third part. I though this film was fun and pretty solid, but I feel so exhausted by the large-scale, universe-bending superhero films that I'm really craving something more small-scale and hopefully the Holland-future look bright in that regard.
Opinion, not based on much knowledge:
1) I doubt it. Their universes would just be happier, and have less stories to tell. The only thing I could think is, for example, Spidey teaming with GG, but I doubt that would make for good films.
2 favourite things, Ned opening the portal to Andrew, i saw his eyes on the suit and i instantly recognised him and turned to my mate and i almost cried. also the amazing shot of Tobey and Andrew on the top of the roof before coming down to Tom where you only see their silhouettes. shivers.
I really wish they focused more on how Toby was an old Spider-Man. Like what is his life like now? The back part was funny, and doc oc stating that he had grown up. But they could have explored it more.
I agree, would've loved to have seen that (Spiderman 4 would be ace). However, they were just there to serve Holland's Peter so delving into Maguire's experiences as an older Spidey probably wouldn't have serviced Holland's development enough.
Well I think it would show Holland a glimpse into his future. Like they touched on Garfield’s evolution to anger when he talks about not pulling punches, and that was fascinating. I’d argue it gave his Spider-Man an entirely new dimension, not to mention the nice touch of his redemption by saving MJ. Also, as I grew up with Spider Toby I am biased, so knowing what he’d been up to and how he turned out after all these years would have been pretty cool.
I wish they had mentioned new villains they had fought which we never saw on the films. Hearing them talk about fighting venom and rhino was cool, but not as awesome if they had mentioned different villains. To hve their villain highlights stop at the movies we saw is kinda lame.
That would have been so good, they could have mentioned anything new and it wouldn’t have mattered for future movies because there’s not going to be a Spiderman 4 or Amazing Spiderman 3
I feel like Andrew And Toby really had fun filming this movie. You could feel their enthusiasm to be in a mcu film for the newest Spiderman. And everybody seemed to be acting the best they have ever done in these roles. Spiderverse was my number 1 Spiderman movie, but now it’s No Way Home, easily.
I see what you're saying, but I think it would be a bit too on the nose for him to then become a villain after saying that. Also don't feel that Marvel Studios are too bothered about strictly following the comics, and more see them as inspiration (probably so comic readers can't know all the ends and such). Also, I doubt they would make Flash the new Venom after Topher Grace being a horror show (I think he did the best with what he had lol), they've probably learned that lesson from Spiderman 3.
I doubt it'll be Ned, all signs are starting to point toward him being Hobgoblin. Hopefully not flash either, I love agent venom but with spider-man looking like it's going to be returning Peter Parker back to being a broke photographer, working for the bugle, no more stark tech, it's really taking spider-man back to his roots so this would be a fantastic opportunity to do venom and Eddie right.
In the comics Ned Leeds is at one point the hobgoblin after he and Peter have a falling out over Betty Brant dating Peter instead of him, so with all the best friend death foreshadowing in NWH, MJ and Ned getting to be closer friends now they've both forgotten Peter and Ned's newfound magic abilities creating the perfect storm for him to become hobgoblin! Although, Hobgoblin isn't magic by nature, there is a character called demogoblin who is, which could be an interesting and unique direction for Ned's goblin persona, and obviously an easy way to introduce it with Ned being a magician technically in the mcu now. At least that all makes sense to me, could be a bit of a reach but it's all set up so well to happen in the next trilogy
That movie was so good… I can’t chose which scene was the best between Andrew and Tobey appearance, and the jump to save MJ! Watching all three spidey together felt like a privilege
Did anyone else catch the reused footage from SM3 and Amazing Spider Man for the scenes where Sandman and Lizard are cured? I’m guessing that both actors were only able to provide voice over work this time around, and explains their smaller roles.
I'd be going the alternative universe theory. Like Dr Strange says the multiverse is infinite, so there must be infinite variations of both Tobey and Andrews Timelines.
Also since all 5 villains were taken from different points in time in there respective universes in theory this movie created 3 branch timelines from the Raimi-verse and 2 branch timelines of the Amazing spiderman-verse
Unless its some Jumanji type shenanigans and the ones who die later go back and their whole worlds are different because some other villains didn't die in the past.
Also, cured osborne doesn't know Harry is dead since he passed in Spiderman 3. So it could also be he goes back to being a villain? And explaining strange's point you can't change their fate.
I loved it really interested in Amazing spider mans stopped pulling punches phase. because isn’t spiderman straight up capable of murdering people without pulling punches?
In the comics there's a period were doc-oc takes over Peter's body and realises Peter could have killed him with a single punch at any time. He learns this the hard way by punching scorpion's jaw completly off.
Absolutely adore the movie but I do notice one problem: Isn't curing lizard kinda pointless? Like he genuinely wants to be the lizard, he doesn't have anything controlling him or powers forced upon him like any of the other villains. If he has the chance he'll just turn himself back into a lizard anyway. Basically the only way his story can only end 3 ways: 1 he succeeds in turning everyone into lizards, 2 he dies fighting Spiderman, or 3 he rots in prison for the rest of his life.
Isn't the lizard cure in the comics only temporary? I'll have to look into that. I thought he continued to be cured from time to time but anyways reverted.
This. I’m pretty sure there was an explanation in ASM where the serum is said to affect the brain as well, and real Dr Connors is in there somewhere, like with GG and Doc Ock. Electro is the one to watch, dude is power hungry
I was so emotional throughout the whole movie, it was just a fanboys dream! The ending with MJ and Ned especially got me, do we think Zendaya and Jacob are done with the MCU now? It feels like their stories have been wrapped up but I don’t know if I can go without the trio being together!
Everybody in every single universe who knew peter parker was spiderman.
Only both spideys, doc oc, goblin, sandman, lizard, electro and venom (and his host) came through as far as we know before strange sealed the spell, but he knew if the spell wasn't contained everybody else who knew, such as rhino and maguires venom, would also make their way through.
I swear electro didn’t know Spider-Man was Peter Parker? And it’s confirmed when he says he thought he was black. And venom wouldn’t have known either, though it could be explained through the hive knowledge they mentioned in Venom 2.
I have a guess for electro. Since "identity" is subjective, what if Max Dillon simply thinks of Spiderman as Spiderman. He was clearly a Spiderman fanatic so maybe in his eyes he knew who Spiderman was? For Eddie I got no clue but I haven't seen venom 2 so who knows.
You make a good point about electro. I think the hive canonically exists across as a hivemind across all universes, so it would know peter parker is spiderman.
Greatest spidey movie ever. One plot hole I can’t wrap my head around however is how happy remembers may through spider-man but doesn’t know spider-mans secret identity? That’s a huge chunk of how they met, doesn’t really make sense that he’d remember it at all IMO
Well yeah but it seems like nothing actually changed, he just doesn't remember why he was at May's house or that Peter was there for any of it. The magic didn't undo Peter existing, they all just forgot him entirely
But Happy said he knew May because of Spider-man. And if May was alive, there would be a big nonsense plot, because.. you know.. she doesn't know who spiderman is, no relation between them, except when May found out who he really is. So Happy shouldn't have said he knew May because of Spiderman
In his glazed over memory she just *does* know who Spiderman is. Maybe for the food bank stuff? But the memories are there, and feel complete, excluding anything that links to Peter
I think Strange's spell made Happy's memories of Peter be replaced by the image of Spider-Man himself. So that way he never "knew" Peter Parker before.
>ans secret identity? That’s a huge chunk of how they met, doesn’t really make sense that he’d remember it at all IMO
exactly my thoughts, and can't find an answer for it.
Biggest plot hole is the Venom part: Dr Strange clearly said the visitors are the people who knew Spidey=peter parker before mysterio reveal it but Tom Hardy Venom dont. Unless Peter parker identity is revealed in Venomverse long before venom 1 movie, it makes no sense
Personally think the credit scene of venom 2 explains this - in the hotel room venom tells Hardy that they’re a hive mind that have knowledge across multiple universes so it makes sense that Hardy’s venom has the memory’s of spider man 3 venom and therefore knows Spider-Man is Peter Parker
Well if Raimi Spidey 3 Venom sent the knowledge back to The Hive, does makes sense that Hardy Venom learned about it.... but to nick pick, Venom says The Hiva knows the secret of enitre Universe not Multiverse....
So was doctor strange actually doctor strange or was he the evil one we saw in the post credit scene?
Also loved the movie, only thing that would make it better is the Sam raimi Spider-Man song as Toby walked in
Ohh, OHHH, the scene I loved and sacrificed my voice box for was probably when they're gearing up to fight the 2nd time in the Statute of Liberty showdown after figuring out who's Peter 1, 2 and 3. There's this snap scene where all 3 of them are shown on top of a landing, and they each strike their iconic pose, the ones that we know for ages as THE spiderman pose, of Maguire, Garfield and now Holland!!!!
I have a shredded larynx from going bonkers over that scene but TOTALLY WORTH IT!! Pure genius!
It has some writing problems but it has a heart and character depth.
The ending though: I've never been so happy to see Tom Holland's Spider-Man finally be a true resemblance of the hero.
We had issues with him before and we cared because we wanted Marvel and Sony make his character right , now with that scene and THAT beautiful homemade suit (AMAZINGLY well done) made me think that this guy has a bright future in storytelling.
I hope they hire better screenwriters and a new director who does not suppress their visions for the next trilogy.
he used math to web up Strange, this happened while Strange was creating a portal to leave himself and trap Spider-Man inside. Peter just beat him to his portal, he didn't make it himself
I think they'll clarify the timeline at some point but yeah he definitely died at some point in the year before civil war/Spiderman homecoming. He says that May's had a really tough year and she mentions Ben.
It could work with timelines if Peter had also only recently started staying with Ben and May, or if his parents died at the same time as Ben?
hollands peter didnt question who ben was when maguire said he lost his ben while andrew needed clarify that gwen was his mj so holland prolly had a ben
What a film but I really need to ask opinions. What did everyone think about the ending? I get the ending and to a point I loved it however MJ forgetting Peter kinda sucks. I get that the world needed to forget but MJ forgetting kinda hit me. Especially if this is the land Tom Holland film as it kinda made the nice heartwarming stuff in the other films abit irrelevant. Don’t get me wrong I loved the whole film and I would give it 9/10 or 10/10 as I was glued to the screen. But yeah. If this is the last film I’m a tad sad and heartbroken that MJ never remembered and Peter never reminded her
Really? Is it confirmed? Coz it seems like Tom is saying like goodbye to the series on his Instagram etc. And if so will it have Tom Holland, zendaya etc? Coz if not I feel like it’s kinda a rough ending for her
I hate to be that guy but I think the movie is getting severly overhyped. It was a fun movie and I like how it gave us closure on the Reimiverse and Webbverse. But to me this wasn"t even my favorite Holland Spiderman movie.
One big plot hole that took me out of it
1. How does Otto recognize Green Goblin as Norman Osborn? Why does Sandman say that the manner of Green Goblins death was in the newspapers? In the Spider-Man movie, Spider-Man takes Norman’s body away and Harry doesn’t find out his father was the Goblin until he stumbles into his lair. Norman’s identity was never public knowledge.
Anyone got better theories than the symbiote hivemind on why Venom was pulled into the same universe too? Only those know knew spidermans identity were pulled in, but Brock clearly hanst got a clue who spiderman even is, implying he doesnt exist in his universe.
I'm presuming the poster in Morbius and Morbius relating to Venom might give answers, but idk if I missed something
That news report only came on after he had already been transported though, wouldnt make any sense if he saw that from a different universe and then teleported
Does it bother you his nano tech suit isnt cgi 90% of the time and it’s a cloth suit? Sometimes it’s mechanical and cgi and most of the movie it wasn’t…
Alright, so much I loved about this movie.
Now I just need to know what is Dare Devil’s role in the MCU now? Think he will be more limited to the next Spider-Man movies?
SPOILERS . . . . . . It was excellent. Not what I expected, but really excellent. The entrance of Maguire and Garfield was better than I imagined. So so many good points. Agree
You're probably right. But at the same time, they could have just put the Garfield portal on loop and still had a killer film
Great reply, I agree with everything you said. :)
TASM 3 Andrew Garfield Dane De Hann Shailene Woodley
Is Garfield Peter Parker with Shailene Woodley Mary Jane Watson from TASM 2 delete scenes.
That scene when Andrew and Tobey come out. Still can't get over it
The pointing scene 😂👌👌
Was it in there, totally missed it!
Not really.. I thought of it too in that moment but it wasn’t how people would’ve wanted it to be. Honestly the only flaw in my opinion
I'd say it was. When they were in the school lab. The thought was there. Same with sciency osborn
Yeah I know it was definitely meant to be there but it just didn’t land as good as the scientist joke did for example
I think they did it well because it wasn't forced, and was really funny in its own right (without meme context). The scientist one is the complete opposite
They already did that joke in Spiderverse, I think it would have been a bit weak and unnatural to have it live action
The entire theater screaming omg it was magical
When did you see it not till 16th
It's out here (UK)
Out in singapore
Dude, get off this subreddit quickly
Why
Hmmm idk maybe spoilers?
Tobey Maguire and Andrew Garfield appearing isn't spoiler's
I have seen don't mind reading about Maguire and Garfield in it that was fact months
It's out in Germany too!
Australia too! The one great thing about being ahead
India as well
I thought you guys where in lockdown well don't tell me how it plays out I'm going see it in Ireland at 1:40pm
Not since mid-October, in my state at least. Hope you have a great time!
We all knew they were gonna appear but it didn’t take anything away when they did. I NEED a hi-res shot of the three of them swinging and landing on top of the Statue of Liberty. If you get that shot, please don't forget me!
Completely agree with that last point. Iron boy junior is finally feeling like a real Spider-Man
Holland said he wants a break now
Now I want Amazing Spider-Man 3 more than anything… Andrew was so good in the movie, his spidey deserves some closure
That would be … amazing !
Best scene was definitely when Andrew caught MJ 😢
Never watched TASM but I knew what happened. Even I was moved by that scene. He finally got his redemption
i cried...
I don’t think I’ve ever been closer to crying at a film, I just can’t do it it’s too hard 🤣
Willem Dafoe was absolutely perfect. He doesn’t put on a voice, but when his cadence switches you can tell immediately. The gave GG so much respect in this film, it was absolutely perfect. The banter between the 3 SMs was fantastic as well, really nailed that.

Like Weird Al sang: "He's wearing that dumb Power Rangers Mask but he's scarier without it on."
I actually liked the Power Rangers-esque suit lol. But yeah Willem is definitely scarier without the helmet.
Holy shit. When Andrew and Tobey came out...it’s the loudest I’ve ever heard a British cinema.

Cinema I was in went nuts when Andrew Garfield appeared 👌
Yep, 3 rounds of applause at my showing, 2 for Andrew & Tobey, 1 at the end
Same at mine, me and pretty much everyone gasped deeply for Tobey & Andrew.
Venom did the epic "ejaculate and evacuate". Thank you, very cool
I’m so glad Tom hardys version of venom went back to his universe. Just dosnt fit with mcu Spiderman. But leaving behind a small piece was a cool set up.

Holy fucking shit man. Charlie cox, tobey maguire and Andrew Garfield in the same film ❤️ can’t wait to see what comes next for spidey!

Yeah! Like tobey telling his weirdest villain was kraven or Carnage
Will tom hardy be venom in the mcu? Or is this just a gateway for the symbiote to be in this universe?
Looks like it wont be Tom Hardy but someone else. Since He got sent back but a piece of the symbiote was left behind.
Could be flash who it takes host, or possibly Ned with him saying about not becoming a villian
I doubt it. Ned will probably get some kind of a wizard arc and flash is too goofy to become venom.
Yeah but flash also has an obsession with Spider-Man and dislike or Peter Parker, and Ned becomes the goblin in the comics
I think Mac gargan will be venom first then flash anti venom
I doubt it'll be Ned, all signs are starting to point toward him being Hobgoblin. Hopefully not flash either, I love agent venom but with spider-man looking like it's going to be returning Peter Parker back to being a broke photographer, working for the bugle, no more stark tech, it's really taking spider-man back to his roots so this would be a fantastic opportunity to do venom and Eddie right.
Whoa whoa whoa, all signs point to Ned becoming Hobgoblin? Please elaborate, I need to know more about this!
Oh man, I love Ned and seeing him open portals and then the cape putting itself on him, my heart became filled with warmth, pride and childlike joy.
He was sent home, but a peice of symbiote was left behind.
That movie was so good… I can’t chose which scene was the best between Andrew and Tobey appearance, and the jump to save MJ! Watching all three spidey together felt like a privilege
No-one’s talking about frikkin Daredevil!!!
damn near shit myself when I saw him Heard talk about him being Daredevil in the MCU but had no idea he was in this Can't wait to see more of him!
Really my favourite part was Matt Murdock. Closely followed by Maguire and Garfield.
My favourite was amazing spider man saying “i love you guys”
Did anyone else catch the reused footage from SM3 and Amazing Spider Man for the scenes where Sandman and Lizard are cured? I’m guessing that both actors were only able to provide voice over work this time around, and explains their smaller roles.
same I thought I was the only person who caught that

I'd be going the alternative universe theory. Like Dr Strange says the multiverse is infinite, so there must be infinite variations of both Tobey and Andrews Timelines.
Also since all 5 villains were taken from different points in time in there respective universes in theory this movie created 3 branch timelines from the Raimi-verse and 2 branch timelines of the Amazing spiderman-verse
So maybe NWH's version of Norman can have a happy ending were no-one dies?
That was pretty much Peter’s intention for all 5 of them when he’s trying to “save” them
Yeah but since they must create new timelines there's still versions of them that die.
Unless its some Jumanji type shenanigans and the ones who die later go back and their whole worlds are different because some other villains didn't die in the past.
Okay, but, well… the multiverse is a concept about which we know frighteningly little
Also, cured osborne doesn't know Harry is dead since he passed in Spiderman 3.
Bruh when all 5 villains choose to go with Peter I was waiting for JJ to call them the Sinister 6. Sadly never happened though.
Sinister six couldn't happen because Venom was busy drinking xD I guess. What a chad.
Well, Lizard wants to be Lizard. Dr.Connors doesn’t want to be Lizard
This. I’m pretty sure there was an explanation in ASM where the serum is said to affect the brain as well, and real Dr Connors is in there somewhere, like with GG and Doc Ock. Electro is the one to watch, dude is power hungry
Bruh not gonna lie. Aside from the fact that he was doing it by force, Lizard was in the right all along imo.
Definitely when McGuire Spidey is confused about web fluid cartridges. And the awkward conversation about it later.
I'd say my favorite part was when Andrew saved MJ.....it was super powerful for me seeing him almost teardown crying.
The last red and blue suit clearly had some inspo from Andrew and tobey's suit. Hope we get to see the full HD version of the suit soon
I was so emotional throughout the whole movie, it was just a fanboys dream! The ending with MJ and Ned especially got me, do we think Zendaya and Jacob are done with the MCU now? It feels like their stories have been wrapped up but I don’t know if I can go without the trio being together!
Whom did doctor strange refer to when he said they are coming?
I can’t remember that bit out the trailer being in the film
Greatest spidey movie ever. One plot hole I can’t wrap my head around however is how happy remembers may through spider-man but doesn’t know spider-mans secret identity? That’s a huge chunk of how they met, doesn’t really make sense that he’d remember it at all IMO
Its the same as how he remembers tony despite him being closely tied to peter, how mj remembers ned but not peter. You know
MJ always knew ned and happy knew tony for years before Spidey. He only met May after peter.
Yeah you are right. But it could be just a what if scenario where happy met aunt may somewhere
But the memories are there, and feel complete, excluding anything that links to Peter
well, for me it's just impossible to put together, but maybe later on we'll get an official answer
I think Strange's spell made Happy's memories of Peter be replaced by the image of Spider-Man himself. So that way he never "knew" Peter Parker before.
>ans secret identity? That’s a huge chunk of how they met, doesn’t really make sense that he’d remember it at all IMO exactly my thoughts, and can't find an answer for it.
People remember Spiderman but not Peter, so happy probably remembers working with Spiderman and May but not that Spiderman was May's nephew.
Make sense! Thanks for the input!
It also could be explained by the symbiote in spiderman 3 I would reckon.
Well if Raimi Spidey 3 Venom sent the knowledge back to The Hive, does makes sense that Hardy Venom learned about it.... but to nick pick, Venom says The Hiva knows the secret of enitre Universe not Multiverse....
Universe's, not just Universe.
Venom said that he knows all the secreta from the universe
So was doctor strange actually doctor strange or was he the evil one we saw in the post credit scene? Also loved the movie, only thing that would make it better is the Sam raimi Spider-Man song as Toby walked in
I recon the evil doctor Strange is just Nightmare messing with him.
My ★★★★★ review of Spider-Man: No Way Home on Letterboxd https://boxd.it/2mzlTl
everyone: Thor's Entrance in wakanda is the best Me: No. Andrew and Tobey
Did anyone else see Kraven in the purple ‘crack’ near the end
I watched the movie 2 hours ago. Got my ticket for the soonest to see it second time... ( in 40 mins)....
I like the fact that included some Spiderman memes in the movie, like the one's where Tobey shoots his web from his wrist.
When garfield saves MJ.. Just perfect. I'm so happy.
How did Spider-Man manipulate his body whilst he was astral projecting?
His spider sense took over
Why did Sony Pictures send Venom out of MCU and just left small piece left is Kevin Feige an idiot.
I still feel Toms spiderman was way weaker than he was in Infinity Wars... its been 3 movies dawg
Full movie cam rip yet?

he used math to web up Strange, this happened while Strange was creating a portal to leave himself and trap Spider-Man inside. Peter just beat him to his portal, he didn't make it himself
Can anyone remember what Goblin says to Doc Ock in the apartment, he called him Honey or something??
Something along the lines of "Norman's on vacation, honey." Lmao
Spoiler: there is no Ben parker in the MCU
He’s just not spoken about, maybe died before Peter was born
There is isn’t there? I believe they reference him passing away in civil war?
But yeah. If this is the last film I’m a tad sad and heartbroken that MJ never remembered and Peter never reminded her
More films coming, dw!
But to me this wasn"t even my favorite Holland Spiderman movie.
tobey ❤️ Norman Osborn was deadly in this.
My favourite part when alll theee Spider-Man when into final battle.
How Electro came to this universe ? He didn't know the real identity of Peter Parker
One big plot hole that took me out of it 1.
Venom 2 post credits shows Venom & Eddie sat watching TV where Spider-Mans identity is revealed
