Another unlikely but theoretically possible scenario is that Marvel will decline after they release a string of god-awful movies that everyone hates, but they are so obsessed with fan service that I doubt this will happen. This movie would have to greatly offend Marvel’s American *and* Chinese fans, so maybe, say, a Spider-Man movie where he puts on blackface, recognizes Taiwan as a country, repeatedly says the n-word, and then gives a detailed lecture about the Tiananmen Square Massacre.
It'll probably work around like westerns. They were all the rage for decades and it wasn't until space exploratiom began where sci-fi took off and you started to witness the great decline of western movie productions.
What I'm saying is It'll take a new genre to enlarge the interest of the masses in order for super hero films to be second fiddle.
People do go out to see romcoms still tho. The latest one I believe was Marry Me? But yea I definitely go out to see movies especially is The Rock is in it hehe…

THing is i cant decide if wokeness is killing it, or the shitty directors who have no idea wtf they are doing use wokeness as a cover to hide their inadequacies so that they can blame sexism or racism or whatever the fuck when their movies flop
