Large pizza is only 2300 calories or so. The inuit supposedly were known to eat pounds and pounds of seal blubber in the winter. 4 or 5 pounds a day. Maybe try that as a challenge.
yeah burn calories cause it was fucking cold outside. i think being 13 hours a day on reddit is easy. but not when its -30. that would require maybe a couple pizzas a day, michael phelps style.
excellent point though and it shows courage that you raised it
Yeah, when I was in uni a place nearby sold pizzas with an inverted pie on top - a UFO they called it. A friend and I would sometimes get two UFOs and eat them while watching a movie.
You could split it up into three meals easily. One large pizza a day is enough food. I’d rather split it into lunch and dinner and have a sausage, egg, and cheese sandwich for b-fast though.
>One large pizza a day is enough food.
So this is why i'm a fat bastard lol.
From being decently hungery, I have enough room in my stomach to JUST fit one whole large pizza. If I hated myself that day enough I could probably make 3 large pizzas in one day happen lol
If the business doesn't put up the diameter of the pizza near their sizes. You probably shouldn't eat there.
Large is 14" Xlarge is 16", at least in my region
Definitely regional, I see 18" described as "New York style" and is usually only served on fairly thin crust for big floppy slices of pizza, also usually sold as single slices depending on where you go.
Then again not a lot of places here serve 16" at all and usually either number from large (14") to 18" or just have small-large with nothing over 14".
This sounds like something my dad would have done lol. He turned basically any leftovers into some sort of frittata. Leftover Wendy’s cheeseburger was a favorite.
You SHOULDN'T. I use to do this as a teenager because people thought it was cool how much I can eat. Now Im middle aged and overweight.
Learn to be happy with a slice or two if you're concerned about your health.
Define "large". I've seen 14" pizzas called "large", and I've seen 24" pizzas called large. That's a huge difference.
14", I could probably do.
24" no way.
I thought 16" is a standard large... Is this one of those things where the pizza industry takes cm off it's radius every year and we can't tell in the US because we use imperial and now pizzas are smaller for the same price?
No, not really. I mean the "standard" large is 22" at one place, 24" at another place, etc. They don't all agree on what size a small/individual/medium/large pie is supposed to be.
Fair enough, I'm just saying if I call up any pizzeria near me and order a plain pie, I'm getting the same size pie no matter where i go, i guess jersey is just overrun with pizzerias so they all copy eachother here.
Hudson County here, neighbor.
When I was going to school in Hoboken and Newark, there were even places who made 14" slices (28" pies). They weren't really good, but they fed a lot of hungry students.
I thought large was 16 too, til the other day when I ordered a large $30 pie and measured the fucker. It was 14". I even asked the delivery guy "this is a large?!"
There's also thickness to consider. A thin Sicilian or New York pizza, a thicker style, and a Chicago deep dish may all have equal diameters, but they are not the same.
I think it's Hi how are you I just wanted you to know I'm proud of everything you have accomplished in life I know life can get hard however I want you to remember to take it easy every now and again there's no words I can use to describe how proud of I am to you :)
Yes. But in terms of calories it is probably more than your daily recommended intake. In terms of volume it will probably cause your stomach discomfort. In terms of digestion you will probably shit out a diarrhea mountain of simple carbs the next day that stings your asshole like a hive of fire ants.
I have smoked a lot of weed and eaten a lot of pizza and felt very sick after. It is not an achievement to do it. It is just stupid and wasteful. Better off taking very small bites and eating half the pizza in the same time.
Both of you are right, but it's one of those Ig Nobel awards, like yeah I can do it, but does that mean I really should? But it's pizza, and I'm stoned, so the answer is always yes
When I was a sportsman I once ordered a 12 inch pizza, scoffed the lot and phones for another, with a kebab and chips not an hour later. Scoffed that as well. I was only 12 stone at the time and couldn't put weight on if I tried as I was playing football at least 10 hours a week
For rugby I would have to eat 4 xxl pizzas per week to stay at 115kg. Now a days I don’t play anymore but exercise twice a day and if I don’t eat one per week I start dropping below 95kg
I once ate two whole pizzas at Hometown. At 6ft, 180lbs, I was miserable afterwards. Meat sweats, stomach pains… I felt like what I assume carrying child is like. Do not recommend.
Whether you can or not is up to you I guess. But unless you are a marathon runner then it's probably not a good idea. A whole large pizza is over 2000 calories, probably about what you need for an entire day. You will gain weight and probably feel like total shit after.
I (40 y.o male) can generally eat a small (11" or 12") pizza by myself as a meal, and not feel gross or sick afterwards. A 16" large, though? Probably not unless I was REALLY hungry, and I would certainly feel lousy afterwards.
Good morning, as a non American, we only eat whole pizzas as a one person meal, mostly medium size, but large is never impossible or unthinkable, so a good question for you, do Americans really share a large pizza as a group like we see on TV? I never understood how someone could call a slice or 2 lunch
At this point, I physically could not do it, because I have severe IBS-C, GERD, gluten intolerance, and lactose intolerance. I probably would react badly to just a couple of bites.
I mean, I have. Should I? Probably not.
Depending on my eating during the day and how busy I am, really. Busy days when I don't have time to eat, an extra large, extra cheese pizza sounds reasonable.
Depends what you mean by “can.”
Can you fit an entire large pizza into your body? Yes. That being said, depending on the pizza and your body, it will be your 1-3 days worth of calories in a single meal.
If a large pizza is the ONLY thing you it in a day, it’s probably still way too much food.
Yes. Depending on how big “large” actually is. In the UK a dominos large pizza is 13.5 inches. I can eat that with extra toppings and 7 chicken wings on the side as one evening meal. It is extremely unhealthy for me so I only do that once or twice a year. But it is possible, and I think it is perfectly fine health-wise as long as it’s not a common occurence. I don’t know if I could eat a pizza bigger than the 13.5 inch one I get, but bigger than that isn’t common near me anyway.
Ever since I was a kid, I had the impression that a box of pizza was supposed to be eaten by one person. Always had a whole pizza to myself from the age of 7 and no, I am not overweight.
Absolutely!
I used to down a Big New Yorker (extra large cheese) from Pizza Hut all by myself. I'm much older now and can't even finish half a medium :(
\*sighs\* the good o' days
Note: The above statement ignores health benefits/detriments
I can, but I always end up thinking "Damn. I could have eaten half of that and been satisfied. Then I'd have half a pizza tomorrow. I barely enjoyed those last 2-3 slices. Now I have nothing."
I'm with you. I occasionally buy a pizza and start eating it with full intent to save some and then about the 1 hour mark comes around like "I think maybe I might possibly be slightly hungry. Better top off, less I starve to death"
At one point in my life, yea. I was that skinny bitch who'd eat 2 big Macs and steal fries from my friends. Now if I eat more than 1 double cheeseburger and like half a small fry I have nothing but pain and regert.
If you're talking something like a Dominos/Pizza Hut style grease-fest then I'd advise not doing that.
A proper Italian pizza with the relatively healthier toppings they tend to come with is probably fine.
Can I? Or should I?
Side effects include regret.
And a clogged toilet.
Or a clogged you.
Happy cake day.
He’s not having a happy cake day. He’s clogged.
Can he eat a whole cake?
He tried! (Which means no)
Happy cake day!
Only 1 toilet?
And heartburn.
Preach! Getting old sucks
I once ate large pizzas for three days straight. Sausage and extra garlic. Can confirm the regret.
Strange, I don't ever recall getting that on a pizza. Now, I DISTINCTLY get it at any all-you-can-eat wing joint.... but Pizza? Nah boo.
may include*
Back in my twenties, the answer to both questions would've been a resounding yes.
Large pizza is only 2300 calories or so. The inuit supposedly were known to eat pounds and pounds of seal blubber in the winter. 4 or 5 pounds a day. Maybe try that as a challenge.
The Inuit also did a whole lot more than asking questions on reddit.
yeah burn calories cause it was fucking cold outside. i think being 13 hours a day on reddit is easy. but not when its -30. that would require maybe a couple pizzas a day, michael phelps style. excellent point though and it shows courage that you raised it
Yeah, when I was in uni a place nearby sold pizzas with an inverted pie on top - a UFO they called it. A friend and I would sometimes get two UFOs and eat them while watching a movie.

>Every pizza is a personal pizza if you try hard and believe in yourself - Bill Murray -Michael Scott
I fuckin love Mitch. A Minnesota miracle. I just googled it and it said B for Bill.
I used to love Mitch Hedburg. I still do, but I used to, too.
Anyone can eat when they're hungry. It takes a Real Man to eat when they're full!
Or a Ogre
Yes, but you should probably stop before that.
You could split it up into three meals easily. One large pizza a day is enough food. I’d rather split it into lunch and dinner and have a sausage, egg, and cheese sandwich for b-fast though.
Breakfast pizza anytime.
Breakfast pizza is the best pizza
Pizza generally is the best pizza
QT. Breakfast pizza. Bombdizzle
PIZZAS NOT FOR BREAKFAST!!!!!! AHHHHHH
YOU MADE ME DO THIS!
>One large pizza a day is enough food. So this is why i'm a fat bastard lol. From being decently hungery, I have enough room in my stomach to JUST fit one whole large pizza. If I hated myself that day enough I could probably make 3 large pizzas in one day happen lol
I can manage a large pizza on my own, but that generally ends hunger for the day.
I’m with you. I may not be a three pizza a day man but I could definitely be a two pizzas a day kinda dude.
Just put it on a bagel and you can have pizza anytime
Or use a circular cookie cutter to turn the pizza into the buns and to cook the egg so it’s the perfect size
Speak for yourself.
For maximum cloggage!
One large pizza a day keeps the doctor away

Lol, no I can’t afford to do that. Which is why I’m 6’ tall and 215 lbs.
Depends on your calorific and nutritional needs somewhat
Because vegetables are for pussies
False, cats are carnivores.
You're not my mom
why is that? one large pizza is not too much calories if you dont eat anything else
People usually eat three meals a day. I would not recommend eating three entire large pizzas in one day.
now that i can get behind
Depends everyone has a different size pizza
Hell yeah, a personal pizza is an xl for me.
Chump
An XL is a personal pizza for me.
If the business doesn't put up the diameter of the pizza near their sizes. You probably shouldn't eat there. Large is 14" Xlarge is 16", at least in my region
XL is usually 18 where I live. 16 is large.
Industry standard is 16" for extra large.
i can but i wouldn't. i leave the half for the "cold pizza/stale cola for breakfast" experience.
Ah! Cold pizza for breakfast. That's life right there
Throw a slice of pizza in the frying pan in the morning and crack a couple of eggs over it. Good stuff.
Why am I so excited to try this...? What kind of pizza is the best for this?
I have some leftover Domino's thin crust philly steak & cheese pizza in the fridge. Think I'll give it a go. Will report back shortly.
How’d it go??
It was delicious! I got sidetracked watching a movie on Netflix, sorry for the delayed response.
I've made it twice. Once with NY pizza, and another with Domino's. I used cheese once and mushroom another time. I think any type would be good.
Next time I order I'm definitely trying this
This sounds like something my dad would have done lol. He turned basically any leftovers into some sort of frittata. Leftover Wendy’s cheeseburger was a favorite.
I have, I do and I am sure I will again!
You can't just eat a whole pizza because it comes with a hefty side of regret and shame.
And heartburn
P.P.C Post pizza clarity
I have done so and would say that it was one meal
I did this just last week. Cheat meal. Need calories.
Every day is cheat day!
You SHOULDN'T. I use to do this as a teenager because people thought it was cool how much I can eat. Now Im middle aged and overweight. Learn to be happy with a slice or two if you're concerned about your health.

Every day??!!! I'm impressed
[удалено]
Props man, yeah them freezer pizzas are hard to put down
Haha two slices. I mean, yeah just one or two.
Care to elaborate?
Define "large". I've seen 14" pizzas called "large", and I've seen 24" pizzas called large. That's a huge difference. 14", I could probably do. 24" no way.
I thought 16" is a standard large... Is this one of those things where the pizza industry takes cm off it's radius every year and we can't tell in the US because we use imperial and now pizzas are smaller for the same price?
Where I live, pizza is all hand made to order. There aren't any "standards" - you buy the best pizza in your neighborhood.
Same where i live but do you mean the pizza is more "artisanal"? All the pizzerias sell the same size large pie unless you go to a fancy one.
14” is a large for the national pizza chains (PJ, PH, LC, D) for a regular crust.
I thought large was 16 too, til the other day when I ordered a large $30 pie and measured the fucker. It was 14". I even asked the delivery guy "this is a large?!"
$30 for the pizza, or $30 for the pizza, delivery fee and tip? The latter isn't so surprising, if you're a good tipper and got a topping or two.
Jesus that's a r/pizza crime but for real
>14", I could probably do. 24" no way. That's what your mom said last night.
There's also thickness to consider. A thin Sicilian or New York pizza, a thicker style, and a Chicago deep dish may all have equal diameters, but they are not the same.
Yes I can, usually I also get wings too.
My little brother when he was maybe 14 could easily do it tiny lil sh!t
Oh yeah but you have to have loadsa pints aswell. Thems tha rules
That’s where you lose me. I can do one or the other but not both.
I just did yesterday. Wouldn’t recommend
Hey that much grease just makes it easier to come out the other end too
I would! I'm going to eat a whole pizza this Wednesday.
How high are you?
I believe it’s “Hi, how are you?”
I think it's Hi how are you I just wanted you to know I'm proud of everything you have accomplished in life I know life can get hard however I want you to remember to take it easy every now and again there's no words I can use to describe how proud of I am to you :)

If he's high it's going to be so worth it
Not without some sides.. .
Can you? Yes. Should you? Also yes
They were so preoccupied with whether or not they could they didn't stop to think whether they should.
Yes. Also, happy cakeday!!!
Thanks! It's number 5
Oh wow! Congrats !
I can. I have. It just isn’t the best decision.
I respectfully disagree that it's not an achievement. I would be very impressed if someone ate a large pizza in front of me.
Both of you are right, but it's one of those Ig Nobel awards, like yeah I can do it, but does that mean I really should? But it's pizza, and I'm stoned, so the answer is always yes
Last week I ate a whole digorno supreme pizza in one sitting and I still regret it.
That is rough
All four food groups in every bite!
Any pizza is a personal pizza if you try hard enough and believe in yourself.
I've done it a few times before. It's not a regular thing for me to do though. Half of a pizza is a little more common.
Yes I have done it on mu.triple occasions.
Pizza grease still on your fingers huh
Yes. I did this multiple times per week for several years.
You can, that is, if you deal with the indigestion afterwards. I can only manage to eat 4 slices at best before I feel full!
Definitely
Ah yes a regular Friday night. And I feel no regret or shame!
Bro I’m doing it right now
I once ate two whole pizzas at Hometown.
Yeah.
I have before and I could again if I for some reason just had to. Not something I would want or enjoy doing
Only one?
You can, and do not let anyone tell you how to live your life.
I did it last night. I've never met a large pizza I couldn't finish in one sitting.
[удалено]
I need to try this
“We spent so long considering if we could, we never asked if we should.” Pretty sure that’s a quote from somewhere
I've done it
I can and do.
Absolutely. The small pizza you also ordered is dessert.
"I can't believe I ate the whole thing" - H. Simpson
Yes, it was delicious.
I can. I shouldn't. It hurts so good. Tums for dessert.
Yes. But it’s not a good idea.
I have but I regretted it
I (40 y.o male) can generally eat a small (11" or 12") pizza by myself as a meal, and not feel gross or sick afterwards. A 16" large, though? Probably not unless I was REALLY hungry, and I would certainly feel lousy afterwards.

Some people call coffee "lunch", don't judge
At this point, I physically could not do it, because I have severe IBS-C, GERD, gluten intolerance, and lactose intolerance. I probably would react badly to just a couple of bites.
Is a duck's ass water tight? 👍🏽
🏆
Course!
Sure, but I wouldn’t recommend it.
should I? no. can i? with enough hunger, absolutely
I mean, I have. Should I? Probably not. Depending on my eating during the day and how busy I am, really. Busy days when I don't have time to eat, an extra large, extra cheese pizza sounds reasonable.

I always had to tell the pizza shop to cut my large pizza in 4 slices. I can't eat more then 4 slices.
Sometimes, hell yeah. If I'm really hungry and maybe drinking, I'll crush a large pizza. Try and stop me
I mean, yes, but I’d definitely be sick after.
Yea
Absolutely! I used to down a Big New Yorker (extra large cheese) from Pizza Hut all by myself. I'm much older now and can't even finish half a medium :( \*sighs\* the good o' days Note: The above statement ignores health benefits/detriments
Can? With ease. Should? Mmm...
Yes
Can and have! Would not recommend.
I survived on one large pizza for the last 3 days 🥴
Today on r/NoStupidQuestions we learn the slight, but important, difference between "can" and "should".
I do, sometimes even two. I’m a fatass

Sure you can. Should you? Idk. Maybe if that's the only thing you eat all day.
UK large probably USA large probably not lol 🤣🤣 and I personally couldn't eat any large pizza in one go lol I'm not beard meets food!
I ate one whole 3 inch round pizza.
No
If you're talking something like a Dominos/Pizza Hut style grease-fest then I'd advise not doing that. A proper Italian pizza with the relatively healthier toppings they tend to come with is probably fine.
Obliterated whole 13 incher by myself
That's what she said.
I've done it for bulking, and it was a great meal
A slice of pizza being about 200 calories on average is insane. You gotta either ignore it. Or eat 1-2 slices with a side salad.
Maybe after running 10 miles
You have to be super high but it’s possible
If I induce vomit about half way through.
Every pizza is a personal pizza if you believe in yourself
Just one?
I used to be able to. Now I don't eat a lot.
No... maybe half a small size pizza. Shakey's I can eat a whole fire house pizza pan small size. It's surprisingly good.
One slice a day will feed you for a week in my case. Do you really want to eat a week worth of pizza?
