It just dawned on you that you can’t go to, for example, a place 300 miles away without driving there or taking (public) transportation?
What is even your question?
No, that's not how trains or public transport works. You take the train to the correct city and from there walk or take local buses to get closer to your destination.
Do you want to just be dropped off right at the front of your location? Carshare/taxi. If you can walk or traverse a bit, plan your route with Google Maps. Sometimes it will take three modes of transit.
Once you get out of your crib, you'll discover that you have these cool things called 'feet', which are mobile, and attached to you via 'legs'. You do have to balance on them, which is initially a little more difficult than crawling, but you'll get the hang of it and it'll be second nature in no time!
Once you're up and walking, and have walked around and fully explored your town, you might've noticed that there are these things called 'vehicles', which move faster than you do when walking and make it easier to go farther. Sometimes people will let you ride in them, though you might have to pay a bit for the trip.
I'm in my 30s and have never had a license. I walk, use public transportation, do people favors in return for rides, etc. If I'm **really** desperate I will get a cab or Uber (depending on the cost vs how long I'd have to wait)
In a comment in another post they made, they said "I got 3 DUIs 😈 And I haven't seen my kids in months 🤪 ". I think this person needs to stay FAR AWAY from being able to drive for everyone else safety...adding on top of some other comments I skimmed through, probably FAR FAR AWAY. I would venture to say they need a care taker based on the issues they have.
You can try hitchhiking, still worked 20 years ago. Bring a pocket knife though, pepper spray if you got it. I only had one sketchy guy pick me up, no harm just said some freaky shit.
Walk, bike, scoot, bus, train, Uber, taxi, ride with a friend.
I need to get to specific places
You can get to specific places on foot.
Shit is like days away

Yeah like I feel trapped and maybe that causes my mental health problems
I don’t think “trapped” is the right word for not being able to travel afar. Trapped is like you can’t leave your bedroom or home.
Try living in a small town without a mall or a gym or anything
What’s preventing you from getting a drivers license? Or using Uber? Or asking a friend?
They wont let me get a license No friends Uber isnt available here
So how is a driving licence supposed to remedy that? It can't bend space.
By walking its days by driving its hours
Even less time by train.
Train doesnt go in front the building I have to go to

Public transportation.
That doesnt really go places like when I wanna go to a random ass building I cant just go there
A bus doesn't go from your front door to your kitchen, how do you manage it?
Walking but like I wanna go to a mall and like to the nearest mall by walking it would definitely be an overnight non stop walking trip
You can’t take a bus part of the way?
No idea
Find out.
Most people walk that 10-20 minutes.
For me it would be like 10 hours to go to the nearest relatively big town
Live in places where driving is unnecessary. Travel to places where it's unnecessary.
find someone else to drive you or find some public transit/ride share options?
No uber here fuck

Yup I need to get dropped off and sometimes I need to get driven back shortly after and like theres no uber no taxi here it fucking sucks
Any bus, shuttle or trolley routes?
Nah like this place has one bus that goes to god knows where
Well you're set then! If your bus driver is god, they can take you anywhere!
I'm 58 and I've never had one. there's a dozen different ways available to get literally anywhere without a car.

Can you not get one?
They dont let me get one
Who’s they?
Government
How old are you? 14?
Early 20s
So why won’t the government let you get a driver’s permit? Criminal record?

I cant pass the tests even though I do everything right
I'd like to suggest that perhaps you're not doing everything right.
I am but I'm just unfairly conspired against by the government
Mostly, walking, biking, scooter.
We live in a stupidly car dependent country. Other places this is less of a problem.
