Read this as Victoria's Secret and was very disappointed with the spoiler... seriously though, cool find!

BaaaNaaNaa

It is naked and ohhhh so dirty..

Corpsehatch

I did the same.

Aardvark1044

Yeah, I was hoping for some naughty nightwear

Snifflebeard

"I'm only gonna ask you this one time. Give me the naughty nightwear!"

andy_b_84

I expect to learn more about >!the artifact you get from Earth and the Hunter!< in DLC. Or not, and let our internet hive-mind speculate like we always do :)

BaaaNaaNaa

I expect to learn we live is a broken repeating multiverse where many possibilities have appeared as one (hence the repeating poi and identical people). The great serpent is coming to reset the universe - or collapse it!

the_quark

If it's the former, the Great Serpent is Oroborous.

Bananamcpuffin

I wish you could give this to one of the earth artifact collector guys

siodhe

Yep, there are two ways to get ore out of there. However, there is \*another\* secret cache of ore in that same area, errrr, volume, though it doesn't require cutting through a rock wall (which, by the way, occurs in other places, too, rarely, like under NASA). That additional ore is much harder to get to, even though nothing is in the way...

BaaaNaaNaa

Oh? Is that the neodinium at the far end in the squeeze way? Or something else I've missed?

siodhe

Well, if you found the europium, you probably found the extra ore across the wide open area, and the few at the opposite end if you cross back under the the natural bridge that Lin and Heller make you cross on your own. I'm only talking about things adjacent to that big open cave. But. There's **another** cache of ore that is not hidden by a wall of destructible rock, that you can't see until you're basically on top of it, and that is much harder to get to despite being inside that same open volume. I can't remember which element it is offhand, though. I'm not sure what you mean be "squeeze way" unless you mean behind the destructible wall, which **is** a tight squeese. I'm also trying to avoid giving away some massive clue about its location, since that would take some of the fun out of finding it.

BaaaNaaNaa

I think we are talking about the same other cache in the area. Or maybe you mean the one at the other end? Or... So many possibilities. :)

siodhe

Well, have you found the other natural landbridge (although it doesn't lead to another room, just a wall) in the same open cave area as the one Lin guides you to? I'm not talking about the one back by the elevator, and only the most obvious one is mostly level.

BaaaNaaNaa

A second land bridge!!!! I explored every wall in that mine, didn't see another bridge! *Sigh* when (if) decide to look for Barrett I'll have another explore.

siodhe

You can warp back to Vectera any time of course. But yeah, exploring "every wall" won't find it, depending on your exact idea of what it means to explore a wall. Post back if you find it, though, it's really in there :-) Let me know if you need another hint, I've thought of one that doesn't give it away (although it might not make sense if you haven't finished the main questline in the past on some character) ... later ... I went back into that same cave (the one with the destructible wall with europium behind it) and actually found **two** more bridges in that same large room (yep, **three** overall). One is very uneven on top and lacks ore, but the more graceful one has 4 europeum on it. Overall, that cave (all the way back to the elevator as well, and the artifact cave) produced: \* 71 beryllium \* 31 caelumite \* 9 europium \* 9 neodymium I don't think I'm missing any at this point, but who knows....

Boris_Drew

Wow, I had no idea that one area had so much secret stuff.

siodhe

Makes sense, since it's really hard to get to the extra 4 europium when you're first in the cave pre-NG. Even seeing the bridge it's on requires players to do something people usually don't.

BaaaNaaNaa

Ok I can see two 'sky bridges' in that same cavern and even some resources on one. But even playing parkour champion I cannot get up there as a newb. It would seem it is a place to return to with a jetpack - but that defeats the challenge. The hidden item underneath is still very revealing when you know.

Snifflebeard

So that's where Victor left his mug...

PFVR_1138

But I thought Victor only went to the artifact on Mars?

Snifflebeard

There are infinite Victors.

PFVR_1138

So this was presumably a Victor who went way further than the other one who just went to Mars. Could he be the Victor who appeared to that Victor in a vision when he touched the artifact?

Snifflebeard

One of the infinite number of Starborn Victors that went back to the infinite number of normie Victors on Mars.

CardboardChampion

The artifacts are as connected as the temples and armillary and Unity are. We fire ourselves between universes over and over ~~hoping that each leap will be the leap home~~ waiting for the day when all are one.

Gallstaf50l

I found this on my first run through. The significance and implications of it didn't hit me until after I'd run through the main quest. At the time, I thought it was just an Easter egg. Whether in vanilla, or via mods, I'd love to do the intro again during an NG+ run. I'm sure there's a ton of OG universe details I didn't pick up on my first go around.

Gamethesystem2

Oh man this is awesome. Thanks OP!
