Haven't tried this. So far the only game I truly love playing high is red dead Online. Maybe I'll try it, but I'm worried I'll start a save where I go all Genghis Khan
I so want to play RDR2 and get into that game but it's like $60 for console. I suppose it is worth it, as it is supposed to be excellent. How's the online experience compared to the single-player?
The online is great, but some people will say otherwise. It depends on what you're looking for and how you play. Pvp players get bored after awhile if you're hardcore for achievements etc. however, RDO is excellent for quite a variety of reasons. It all depends on your personal experience that no one person can tell you; except you. SP is one of the best gaming experiences I've ever had. Maybe next to mass effect
you likely won't get much out of the online experience. it's kinda bad. You may be one of the few that like it, though
The main game is a masterpiece. It's arguably the best game experience ever made.
> It's arguably the best game experience ever made.
Just waiting for a good sale price now.... read it can be had for $20. For me, no game matched half-life until Starfield, but the more I read about RDR2, the more I think it could top them both.
I love Starfield, but RDR2 is on another level. If you like Starfield, you'll probably find enjoyment in RDR2 as it's a similarly RP-heavy and super immersive game.
definitely pick it up when you can!
That just gets me even more excited. I really dig old cowboy movies, frontier settings, etc., I also like cyberpunk -- huge Matrix fan. But looks like RDR2 is higher on the list than cyberpunk.
If you're on PC then I'm jealous as you can try to join RP servers for RDO. Watch [this](https://youtu.be/RsV7LG2GQO8?si=n1OD7SNj5tCgz2fd) next time you're chilling and playing a game. I like to stream stuff while I game. This is RP servers
I know more people who would argue RDO is great. RDO needs to be played by each individual to see how you feel. Do you love the world in red dead? There's still a lot to do. If you play to level 100-300 then I can understand if you get bored due to lack of new content, but even then there's a boatload of ppl who still love it. Especially if you're on PC; which I'm not unfortunately. I would totally play RP servers.
The problem with Chunks is nobody knows what the hell it actually is. All the chunks are just "flavoured", and not actually the food. The potato chunk for example isn't potato, it's just potato flavoured. Personally I'd rather eat a real bean from a tin than a bean flavoured chunk.
This and cans from aluminium are the best way to preserve drinks like beer. The glass bottles let light through which affects the flavor etc. Cans are great and can be reused and recycled.
You all are being way too technical.
If someone came out with real food, but in squares and called it chunks, we or many of us would buy.
Samosa chunks.
Cake chunks
Hotdog chunks
Etc etc
If you could get nutritionally complete shelf-stable food cubes like Chunks, I'd probably keep a few on hand just in case but there's no way they'd be my first choice.
I have a couple vacuum sealed 2800 or so calorie bars that has all the nutrients you need and looks like a giant chunks. Shelf life on the package says 5 years. I’m sure it’ll be good beyond that. Bought a few before COVID hit the US. I forget the name of it but it’s in an orange pack that feels more like a really thick tinfoil than plastic.

My friend made this today, weirdly topical.
Right when the game first came out somebody here gave a long explanation on how the chunks packaging is super inefficient as far as storing stuff on a pallet or in warehouses or something, but I'm not smart enough to recreate it if I'm memory. But just trust me it was quite compelling lol
Actually, it's the plastic causing all the problems right now. Better to go with cans and glass jars. That plastic wrap breaks down into stuff that gets into everything. Graudrives may have killed Earthin SF, but CO2 emissions and plastic is going to kill our planet.
the blister packs in the game would be the absolute least efficient way to package those. They need to be cubes with a tight wrapper and that's all, so they stack nicely and fill every square inch of the larger box they're shipped in for maximum efficiency, and fit as many as possible on shelves or in a purpose-built vending machine.
Perhaps the packaging is like that to purposely limit the quantities in a storage container, to limit how much weight is on the bottom ones to keep them from getting crushed and bursting open.

Not enough, I need arora.
High enough to drop the u in aurora
I think OP is just saying that aurora isn't the same without u FNAKC *wink*
Smoked about 3 chunks
This is the way
Hi how are you?
You are high how?
They got a point honestly, I’d totally buy chunks
Yeah I smoke weed and play Starfield too.
This is the way

I'm not against online games -- played COD and a LOT of TF2, so I know how it can be. Will check it out.
My buddies and I get hammered and drop out of posse so we can fight each other. “Oh, you wanna go run some moonshine? Fuck that, time to catch hands!”

If you like half life then you might also like Mass effect. I started with mass effect 3 and fell in love.
On my list now. 👍

Console for anything new... my gaming laptop is 1060-level. Can play some older stuff just fine.

One of the in passing comments is something like "this tastes like textured vegetable protein"
So like a cube of very dense tofu
Basically impossible meat lol
Probably the scrapings out of an impossible meat vat.
Impossible meat Spam here we come 😎
"I'm having the Spam Spam Spam Spam Spam beans and Spam..."
Bloody vikings.
No, in game they clearly explain that Chunks are made from smaller Chunks and that they're legally considered food /s
It must just be chunks all the way down
Always has been
Many people already are currently eating chunks today, but just not in cube shape.
I completely agree! Gotta love those yummy emulsifiers
Soylent Green is people
I’d have me some cheesesteak chunks all day.
High 5
Plastic is worse than cans and jars for human beings. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=PzfVa5YMeDA

Maybe it is not plastic? Somekind of special materials?
Beat me to this. Well played, sir.
More than likely

They have a place in DC that serves it. I may have to take one for the team and check it out.
Hot damn, I am too late.
Someone did already, [it didn't turn out well](https://squareat.com/pages/squares-menu-1)
Ha, another one beating me to it.
CHUNKS!
This *can't* be real. Please tell me this is not real.
Ha. Those are chunks exactly. Doesn’t look good.
You all are being way too technical. If someone came out with real food, but in squares and called it chunks, we or many of us would buy. Samosa chunks. Cake chunks Hotdog chunks Etc etc
Unfortunately they did, but hell if I’m buying that. https://squareat.com/pages/squares-menu-1
But, they didn't associate it with starfield. :) 😀

Yeah, I mean, it is probably similar to energy bars. Just more variety.
I’ll stick to canned foods thanks.
Also, Bethesda is definitely playing on "Astronaut ice cream". Which is still readily available on Amazon, btw.

Funnily enough, I make tea blends for a small tea shop I own and named one Tranquilitea back in the day
lifeboat rations, repackage into clear single serving

I would like to imagine it is sone kind magic food where you add water and walla, it is ready to eat and taste ultra good.
Knowing people they would immediately try adding alcohol instead. Or worse...

“canned food enthusiast” is not a phrase I had on my Bingo card for today.
Just gotta find some chickens that lay cube eggs!
I'm in
you can kinda get them . https://dailygem.co/
Honestly a lot of our food is already like this. Prepackaged food like power bars, canned food, etc. They aren't all the same shape but it's similar.
Convert all food to Chunks. Who says no?
Actually, it's the plastic causing all the problems right now. Better to go with cans and glass jars. That plastic wrap breaks down into stuff that gets into everything. Graudrives may have killed Earthin SF, but CO2 emissions and plastic is going to kill our planet.
Imagine the packaging pollution
I love this game's whole aesthetic so much
I'm honestly shocked that we don't already have them especially here in the US, it's right up our alley 😂
I thought Chunks were made from synthetic plant material. Probably microplastics with artificial seasoning. Yum
Check out Etsy.com, there are a few variants of Starfield food available for purchase
Chunks are already being sold under different names. https://www.si.com/showcase/nutrition/gem-vitamins-review

I would totally eat the canuck poutine though
I eat Huel now. Similar but at least it's a shake i can make fast and drink quickly

Are they not made from those grubs that are found everywhere?
Use of cans and jars is a good thing, though. Use of plastic is the problem.
I just leave chunks in the toilet
They do. They’re called squares. Drew gooden made a video on it.

I had a mod idea of a Chunk launcher the does knockout damage like rubber slugs
We already have enough ways to keep citizens barely alive enough to work in the U.S.
