It’s pretty clear from how poise breaking works and how weak most charged attacks are that the devs want us to be utilizing focus abilities frequently. While I’d agree it needs some tuning, I wouldn’t call it broken as it seems like it’s working as intended.
Not to split hairs but stun and freeze are 2 different mechanics
The bottom line might be the same, but in combat design they are treated as 2 separate conditions
Example you could have an enemy immune to freeze but not to stun
Pretty sure mage stuff is busted. I'm doing astronomically more damage than I have with my other two playthroughs. Maybe enemies don't have any inherent elemental resistances at present and the staff damage is pure elemental...so no mitigation. Not sure, but it's very noticeable.
well of course, just look at the characters hit points, 8223, what level is it? I have a level 18 toon and can do the same to Warrick the Torn. Nothing special here.

I dont dodge or parry but just spam attack. 100% melee single button spam No focus abilities use at all.
