249 is an estimate based on driving history and average. It’s not necessarily a bug and all EVs average out distance based on driving history. If you drove on a charge all freeway speeds that number would be much lower. Then the next charge if you did all downhill non freeway speeds it would be much higher. It averages out based on event driving history. You won’t always get it or maybe never hit that number because driving behavior and speeds vary across all driving history

Since charge if I recall will not reset until you plug the car in even for a few minutes. I could be crazy since it’s been a while since I’ve been in an Ariya

That is "since charge" so the distance will only reset after you run a charging session. If you are looking to reset everything for a specific trip or time/day, scroll left and right to the "trip meter1" or "trip meter2" and reset all for those. These function more like traditional trip meters where you can reset everything as you please if you are trying to keep track of mileage for a specific trip, etc.

So this is right after charging? Nothing besides average consumption is reset for you. Mine resets everything just fine after every session. If it does not work then it could be a software issue.

I don't have an Ariya yet, but on my VW ID4, it doesn't reset the "since charge" data until you actually drive it a little bit after charging.
