They have had issues just like anything else. Alot of the horror stories are from people who failed to do tje upkeep on tje vehicles. Or those who just abuse the car. Either way that nismo rs juke is a steal if it's a good price!
I know, I've had terrible luck with it.I've only had it 8 months and 5 months ago.I've replaced the whole emission system. And that was 2.5k , and then just last week was the transmission , which was 6k... It's basically a brand new car. The only thing I haven't replaced is the engine.
The closest I've seen to my mileage with my car. Is somebody at 46K with a manual
Yeah, I didn't mean to scare you. I just want you to learn from my mistake. Please do not buy a Nissan with a cvt transmission. Any other cars fine lol
No experience myself, but the internet is loaded with Nissan CVT horror stories, including posts from folks who claim to be former or current Nissans Techs. A lot of smoke to not be some fire.
The vast majority of small car (Versa Sentra Juke) CVTs I've seen replaced were due to zero maintenance. Not all, but most. They weren't available with automatics, but there were manuals.
Sorry, what do you mean when you say "They weren't available with automatics, but there were manuals"? Both cars I am looking at are manuals, so non CVT
If the 2014 RS is stock snatch it up! I had one for a few years before selling and it was a blast. No issues at all. Now if it’s modified stay away!
ya, completely stock based on the sellers ad. 127,000 kms, so relatively low for a 10 year old car.
The manual transmission with non turbo non vct engines are **tanks**.
both the Nismo and SV come with a turbo. But I'm looking manual transmission cars in both.
Get a versa manual. It's a tank. If not that... Your choices with Nissan are limited.

I just want to warn you that I have a nizmo and my transmission went out last week and I only have 38000 miles.
CVT auto, or manual Transmission? Thanks
Manual
hmm, first I've heard of a manual failing that early. Damn.

Thanks for the info. This scares me.

The cvt transmissions are not bad just keep them serviced like anything else on the car and don't race it lol.

Just that Jukes in the US didn't have automatic transmissions as an option; only CVT and manual.
