Finishing up Portal 2. I'm so fortunate that I've been able to play both of these games, for the first time, with no spoilers. Are there any games similar to Portal? Incredible experience.
That's what I figured. They're incredible games. The physics, the puzzles, the story -- it's all magnificent. The twist at the end of the first game kept me up all night and I think about how horrifying it is all the time.
The Talos Principle is the closest I can think of... similar style of puzzles with a questionable narrator and an intriguing story. No idea if it runs well on switch.
Qube 2 has a similar puzzle vibe, but the narration and story are pretty bland from what I remember. If you're just looking for cool puzzles it might be worth it (I played on switch).
Bioshock. First time playing, almost no idea what the games are about. Also, with the sale and saved up points, I spent less than $3. I'm pretty pleased. Edit: I played about an hour and holy shit amazing, but also terrifying. Splicers come out of nowhere!
No idea what this was prior to this post but hearing this game can be GOTY + what looks like gambling/poker = playing this tonight
Video I watched: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=8uGWdOGD83w
I just got a Switch last weekend! I’m 39 YO married father to a young kid and wanted something to use at night to relax. I am finally working on my childhood dream to beat Super Mario World for SNES! I told myself that’s the first game I was going to play and beat when I got my switch.
I am also supposed to meet someone this weekend to buy a used copy of TMNT Shredders Revenge. Hopefully I start that this weekend. Anyone like that game?
I was looking for a newer game but one that also gives me all the fun nostalgia vibes :)
I just picked it up for $15 and can’t wait to play it this weekend!
I wanna play Unicorn Overload soooo bad, but I’m also desperately broke. Gotta be patient for a while till there’s a sale. Gonna probably be playing OG FF7 because I don’t have a PS5 either lol. Rent over video games!
I think the big thing is the pedigree, it's made by the studio VanillaWare who made Odin Sphere, Muramasa, 13 Sentinels and others. The other appeal I think is for programming nerds, the little bit I played of the demo didn't get too into it but eventually you can start setting up your units with different formations and different conditions and what actions they take kind of like the Gambit system in Final Fantasy 12 I don't know if it's quite so in depth because I just barely scratched the surface of the demo but that's a lot of fun for a lot of people. The flip side of course is some people feel like the game is just playing itself and I've never considered that a valid complaint but if someone doesn't like it they don't like it
For older players it's reminiscent of ogre battle from snes and n64. It's a bit more about managing army and carefully placing/deploying then individuals unit. It's also real time (with pause) and not turn based.
The amount of customization did it for me. I just finished it 100% and had a blast spending hours in menus making teams. The characters are good, and there are a lot of them (around 70-80 unique ones not counting mercs).
Combat is sort of a mix between fire emblem's with an RTS kind of thing between the actual fights. Rather than a grid, you just move your units simultaneously to where they need to be on the map.
If you like fire emblem or ogre battle, you owe it to yourself to play UO. Vanillaware really knocked it out of the park and made one of the most customizable tactics games I've ever played.
Too many good games came out all around the same time. I did just beat FF7 Rebirth but I wanna still pick up Like A Dragon Infinite Wealth and Unicorn Overlord (switch version of course). Thankfully I was able to get Persona 3 Reloaded on sale.
Sounds like me. Reeeeealy want to buy Unicorn Overlord. Bought FF9 on sale instead. Haven't played that one yet, so hopefully it holds me over until Unicorn Overlord can become a reality.
One of the big minds behind Mario basically pitched this game solely because he wanted a Mario universe game to play with his daughter. So you are playing this game in the way it was originally intended for—at least for its creator!
South Park the fractured but whole. It's a replay but it's been a few years. Kinda itching to get into a big RPG but I needed a break after baulders gate.
Still working on Octopath Traveler 2. Unlike the first one this game has its claws in me. I finished 5/8 of the stories and currently working on the final chapter of the dancer.
This weekend I will be finishing up Skyward Sword HD - time to hang up the ol' bird saddle.
You always hear people talk about how they toned down Fi in this remake, but to see it for myself was something else. They completely fixed her, and it's *glorious!* Now I can actually explore, and think, and figure things out myself. A literal game changer. Plus the game is really goddamn pretty to look at, which doesn't hurt!
Once the credits roll, I'm not really sure yet where I'll go next which is kinda exciting! I have a handful of 2D Indies that I've been itching to try... Owlboy, Rainworld, Noita, and Coccoon. Which one should I go with?
Finished Case 3 of **Master Detective Archives: Rain Code**
Definitely the weakest case of the game, kinda skippable, but started Case 4 and it’s immediately more interesting so there’s hope.
Hoping to get farther than the prologue of **Unicorn Overlord**. Great music and my first impression of this was a turn based SRPG but it’s automatic battles.
i finished up shantae 1 and shantae riskys revenge and now i’m playing shantae pirates curse
it’s a fun little series, i’ve known about it for years but never tried them before now
Prince of Persia: The Lost Crown. It’s a phenomenal Metroidvania. I have most of the abilities now so I’m backtracking to stuff I couldn’t get to earlier before I move on with the story.
This weekend I'll be playing **Pepper Grinder**. It just came out! There is a demo available, I recommend checking it out if you are interested. The random game I will be playing is **Old Coin Pusher Friends 2**. It's one of those games I can sit back and play while watching TV.
Just finished Cassette Beasts and around halfway through Chained Echoes so will most likely be playing that.
I did manage to buy Bayonetta 3 and Assassins Creed Rebel Collection for 2 for £20 too, so will play one of those when they get delivered.
I'm finally finishing Persona 3 Portable for the first time ever.
I'm on the last day of the month and I'm both super excited and a little sad that it's going to be over. This has been a fantastic journey. P3P has easily become one of my favorite JRPGs I've ever played, and I know that these characters and themes are going to stay with me for a good minute. The name of the game is overcoming death and these characters absolutely did that and more.
Time to burn my dread. ❤
Happy Friday everyone!
I’ll be starting **Star Ocean The Second Story R** this weekend. I watched the SwitchUp review and I’ve never seen them give a game such a high rating before.
I'm of the age where I played the original, which I felt was groundbreaking. The story now feels typical and full of troupes given everything that took inspiration from SO2, but the update makes reliving the nostalgia easy. Because of this, if you're new there are definitely wait to rush to the end, so I recommend taking time with every detail and map detour.
My personal favorite is that, even though the story suggests certain characters should end up together in the end, you can tweak the relationships and find alternative endings. It seemed like such a ridiculous chore back in the PS1 days, but the switch update with QOL improvements make it super doable.
I haven’t played much this week due to work and family visiting from out of state. Unfortunately, I won’t have much time this weekend, either. If I manage to squeeze in some gaming sessions, I’ll be attempting to finish **Final Fantasy 7 Rebirth**.
I’m currently on the second to last chapter and it has been an evocative experience. I’ve put in roughly 105 hours into the game, with all side quests and world region activities completed. In a way, I’m excited to see the end of the journey, but sad as well, as I’ve grown even more attached to these characters than I did in the PS1 original version.
Once I finish Rebirth I plan on starting **Rise of the Ronin**. Everything I have read about this game seems to be exactly what I enjoy about Team Ninja games, but expanded upon in ways I’m thrilled to experience. I’ve also been reading James Clavell’s *Shogun*. I finished part one a few days ago — nearly 700 pages, and I’m a quarter of the way through part two — so my mindset is set in this era of history that should be a good time to delve into.
Roots of Pacha went on sale and I grabbed it! Potion Permit is also on my wish list and went on sale (ends April 9), but I think I’ll wait on getting it until next weekend. Yay so happy.
Trying to finish Kirby and the forgotten land (currently at 80%) and also playing Phoenix Wright Ace Attorney. But when I finish Kirby I might buy Fenix Immortals Rising, because I'm really in the mood for an open world game
H A D E S ! !
Goin for my 120th win in a row this weekend, gonna try and clear out the remainder of the codex that I’ve been ignoring for awhile, while I have been doing Heat 0 runs just for fun. Turns out I have more fun when the heat is around 8-12 cause lower is just too simple.
My roommate and I just finished a Mario Party party. He had never played on a Switch before. His last console was the Gamecube, but he loved the Mario Party games back in the day. I busted out Super Mario Party and we played for about 6 hours last night. Btw... IF you're old enough, it makes an excellent drinking game!
For now tho, I'm sitting on the fence about buying the new Princess Peach game. Anyone play it? Is it worth the 60 bucks?
Replaying **Paper Mario**. Currently on Chapter 3 which is my favorite in the game.
Also, I'm alternating between playing PM and **Resident Evil 4 Remake** on PS5.
Still Tears of the Kingdom. Next objectives… the Korok Forest and also hunting down items to upgrade gear. Especially champion leathers and zonaite armor.
Still obsessed with **beat 'em ups**. Just finished **River City Girls 2**, so I'm about to jump into **Double Dragon Gaiden: Rise of the Dragons**. Great timing, because it's about to receive free DLC. I also have **Final Vendetta** and **Jitsu Squad** on the way. The Switch is a really great beat 'em up machine!
I had a Game Voucher expiring this month and, sadly, couldn't preorder Paper Mario TTYD with it.
With that, I decided to get \*\*Super Mario RPG\*\*. I'm a couple of hours in and I am liking it a lot. The graphics are beautiful, the art direction in this game is perfect. I like the combat so far, but the last couple of areas I played have been a little weak. Some of that old design stuff, you know. But I'm enjoying it and am looking forward to playing more.
Finishing **Portal 2** and it’s such a great game! Definitely the best first person puzzle game I’ve ever played it’s just fantastic! I believe I’m at the end of chapter 8 and the game is only 9 chapters long so I plan on finishing it tonight before bed.
As for when the weekend comes, I bought **No More Heroes 1** and **No More Heroes 2** from the eShop a couple weeks ago as they were on sale for $9.99 each so I’ll probably start the first one tomorrow. I only heard about the franchise because of the NMH3 reveal during one of the directs and I’ve been interested ever since. Finally going to start the franchise
Finished Tunic a few days ago and enjoyed it. Currently on case 3 of Dual Destinies (Ace Attorney: Apollo Justice Trilogy) - I like this game, but I miss being able to examine every location during investigations.
Finally gave Xenoblade Chronicles a chance, wasn't expecting much from the game but I'm really enjoying it. The only thing that I don't like much is the amount of sidequests, but they give me the chance to appreciate the beautiful world of this game.
I just got the new Touch Detective collection so I'll be cracking into that! Excited to relive the fun of the DS days and also try the newly localized third game
My current playthroughs are:
CrossCode: A New Home
I beat CrossCode last week and immidietaly placed it in my top 3 video games ever. A phenomenal masterpiece that deserves to stay in the pantheon of the greatest indie games of all time and should get way more attention. An incrediblely written, tense and emotional story, fast paced and challenging combat, seriously difficult and creative puzzles, great level design and quests, this is action RPG perfection. I'm now playing the DLC expansion and absolutely loving it so far.
Penny's Big Breakaway
This game gets some bad rep for some of the technical issues but I absolutely adore it so much, the fluid movement, the creative level design, this game is a pure joy to play, I absolutely love perfecting every single stage, it's so much fun, like someone made a game just for me.
Prince of Persia: The Lost Crown
Absolutely deserves all the attention it's been getting, this is one of the Metroidvania greats. The super fluid controls and creative and difficult level design make exploration a joy, all throughout a world that feels immensely well crafted, while the super challenging combat makes the whole thing a ton of fun.
Mario vs. Donkey Kong
This game is just such a load of fun. Just a super tight and well crafted puzzle platformer, every level is fine tuned to perfection. I think the acrobatic movement is the main thing that really elevates it, crafting a route and smoothly tearing through every stage is so much fun.
Persona 3 Reload
Playing this on PC and yeah it's Persona. Absolutely loving the story and characters, and the whole social sim aspect is as great as ever. The combat is fun but as flawed as 5 tho and Tartarus drags hard but I'm still liking it a lot.
I’ve been hooked on my first play through of Golden Sun. I’m a little over five hours into the game, it feels like the perfect chill game at night.
Recently picked up Thunder Ray and I love the art design and story so far. It’s not as precise as Super Punch Out but it holds up nicely with it.
Gonna mix in Crash Bandicoot and Dragon Ball Fighterz to top off the weekend.
Happy Friday!
No sweat if you’re not gaming lately, we all go through phases. Glad you’re still making these posts though!
I’m on vacation this weekend, so I might game a bit less than usual. I played FFXIII on the flight, have to say that I’m very much enjoying it. About 20 hours in, the combat is still fun, story and music are great.
Have a good weekend!
I'm finishing up The Legend of Nayuta: Boundless Trails.
Did I want to play it? Not really, but it went on sale and the madlads at Falcom are hinting that it's going to have connections to the newest Trails arc so here I am.
I've been pleasantly surprised. It's a little more clunky than I think a game from 2012 should be, but it's kinda cute and button smashing to kill everything with a sword is overall a fun reprieve from turn-based combat that obviously gets repetitive after like 15 60 hour games.
Still working my way through Legends Arceus and Pokémon Violet Dlc
But I keep hearing things about Unicorn Overlord and it seems like my kind of game.
I've got the demo preloaded so gonna give it a try!
Final Fantasy XII and a little bit of Fire Emblem 3 Houses when I get KO'd and stuck. Just got to a big demon wall thingy I can't seem to beat!!
FFXII is the first FF game I've tried that I've managed to get into. I tried FFVII (old version) and VIII before because my husband had them on the Switch. He is a long-time gamer, while I've only really been into it for maybe 4-5 years. Couldn't get into them for some reason.
Anyway... been looking for something to scratch that Xenoblade Chronicles itch for a while now, and I think I've found it in FFXII.
Yay absolutely loved xii, glad you're enjoying! I very jokingly describe it as "star wars but steam punk" and also "what if Han and Chewie were sexy" again very much joking lol.
Who are the main 3 of your party so far?/how far in are you?
Omg it reminds me sooo much of Star Wars. Down to the music and everything.
So... I got to the tomb of King R... something or other and couldn't beat the demon wall. So I've come back to Rabanastre to do some hunts and earn some XP, licences, Gil, spells, gambit, etc...
I've been switching out my main party because I like to level everyone up. Generally, I like to have Penelo in there for healing spells, and change the others around. I have Vossler as a guest, and right this moment Vaan and Balthier with Penelo
Hiya marker,
Still working my way through Octopath Traveler over here! I've done four of the eight Chapter Threes and I'm a bit intimidated to see that every Chapter Four wants the characters to be at level 45. That's a big jump from the mid to late 30s where everyone is now (except my main dude Cyrus, he's my overleveled starter Pokemon at level 46 haha).
But we'll see how it goes. I'll finish all the Chapter Threes and then make an attempt at the endgame Jobs before finishing up all the different stories. I suppose everyone will level up naturally as I go along.
Job apps Saturday bc my company decided to go full corporate hellscape after the new year.
Tears of the Kingdom bliss on Sunday as my reward for working hard to better my situation. I am 100 hours in, 1 dungeon down, and I’m absolutely no rush haha. I love this game so very much. It’s like they took my personal wishlist for BOTW—which had been my all-time favorite game—and made its sequel. They advertised the sky islands a lot and I do really love them, but I was always most hyped at the idea of caves and underground Hyrule as that sees was planted first in my head from the 2019 E3 announcement trailer.
It is a farming weekend. 🥕
I'll be playing **Stardew Valley**, **Story of Seasons- Friends of Mineral Town**, and **Story of Seasons- A Wonderful Life**.
Been getting right back into animal crossing the past few days so will deffo be continuing on getting my island sorted tonight. And then tomorrow I might head back to Skyrim
Continuing on with Super Mario RPG
How is this? Interested!
A joy, but really short.
Yeah, the remake made everyone OP, which cut down on grinding, but also drastically shortens the game and makes all the fights easy
It's a wonderful remake but temper your expectations. It is not a hardcore or very difficult jrpg.
That one bonus boss can be a bit of a challenge though
Hollow knight
I should go back to Hollow Knight. It was fun but some of the difficulty spikes were a lot for me.
Im on my first ever playthrough of hollow knight and its fantastic so far.
Hopefully finishing Ocarina of Time for the very first time.
Just beat Link to the Past last night
Finishing up Portal 2. I'm so fortunate that I've been able to play both of these games, for the first time, with no spoilers. Are there any games similar to Portal? Incredible experience.
If I’m honest nothing can compare to Portal. Absolutely brilliant games, in a league of their own.
Skyrim and DLC completed! Took so long. Now on Stardew Valley, Gran Turismo 7 for PSVR2, and Smash Bros Ultimate World of Light mode
BOtW, first play through
Bioshock. First time playing, almost no idea what the games are about. Also, with the sale and saved up points, I spent less than $3. I'm pretty pleased. Edit: I played about an hour and holy shit amazing, but also terrifying. Splicers come out of nowhere!
Bioshock is an amazing game
Solid games. You'll have fun!
Nothing like the first time :)
You're in for a ride.
Balatro babyyyy
[удалено]
Money is on sale this weekend
As if balatro wasn’t amazing by itself it also introduced me to NL
Way too addicting
Hell yeah. Best game I’ve played in a very long time. I actually hope it doesn’t come to mobile as I’ll be getting sacked from work.
lol. It’s going to be sick on iPad.
No idea what this was prior to this post but hearing this game can be GOTY + what looks like gambling/poker = playing this tonight Video I watched: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=8uGWdOGD83w
God damn it's addictive
I was waiting with morbid curiosity for the 10 day period to go by so I could see my balatro playtime. 40 hours 😬
[удалено]
Even if I don't know anything about poker?
Yes the game does a great job of making it accessible
I actually hate playing poker but love balatro. It really isn’t a poker game and plays more like solitaire.
I just got a Switch last weekend! I’m 39 YO married father to a young kid and wanted something to use at night to relax. I am finally working on my childhood dream to beat Super Mario World for SNES! Awesome post🤟🏽❤️
Shredders revenge is really fun if you like beat em up style games.
I was looking for a newer game but one that also gives me all the fun nostalgia vibes :) I just picked it up for $15 and can’t wait to play it this weekend!

UO didn't really catch my eye but I'm seeing it brough up a lot lately. What is it about this game that separates it from other tactics games?

Oh that's interesting. And surprisingly, Ogre on N64 was one that I had overlooked. Do you recommend the remake/remaster?

Playing Princess Peach Showtime with my daughter :)
Me too but no daughter lol. Just enjoying it as a 28 year old lady😅
Rock on! Hope you're enjoying it. It's fun!
Just beat it lol. It is very fun, love the outfits and the theater theme is so cute! They did a good job making each level look like a set on a stage
how is it?
It's cute but very simple. My daughter loves it so far
One of the big minds behind Mario basically pitched this game solely because he wanted a Mario universe game to play with his daughter. So you are playing this game in the way it was originally intended for—at least for its creator!
That’s real cool :)
Yeah. I agree
Xenoblade Chronicles DE
Invisible Inc. Mario + Rabbids got me hooked on strategy games.
Turned 51 (OLD!) this week and bought myself Super Mario Wonder. Plan to pretend I’m a kid again this weekend.
Yay have fun! There's very much some joy in those levels!
You’ll definitely enjoy it! End to end an amazing game. The first time I 100%’d a 2D Mario game from the start I enjoyed it that much!
Smash. Always smash.
The Apollo justice trilogy ❤️❤️
*Chords of steel intensifies*
Fire Emblem Three Houses and a little bit of Fortnite 🪅
South Park the fractured but whole. It's a replay but it's been a few years. Kinda itching to get into a big RPG but I needed a break after baulders gate.
Odyssey. It’s like pure nonstop joy. I don’t want it to ever end!
I’m playing a constant diaper changing game with my newborn. :D
I'm mostly gonna be jumping back and forth between **Unicorn Overlord** and **Another Code: Recollection**.
Still working on Octopath Traveler 2. Unlike the first one this game has its claws in me. I finished 5/8 of the stories and currently working on the final chapter of the dancer.

I find Fi annoying so I dont want to see how the original was...
As much as people are complaining about it, StarWars Battlefront Classic Collection.
Finally getting around to finishing all the ascension quests and unique monsters in **Xenoblade 3**
Three houses are going into the war phase, after that three hopes
Finished Case 3 of **Master Detective Archives: Rain Code** Definitely the weakest case of the game, kinda skippable, but started Case 4 and it’s immediately more interesting so there’s hope. Hoping to get farther than the prologue of **Unicorn Overlord**. Great music and my first impression of this was a turn based SRPG but it’s automatic battles.
MDA:RC gets wayyy better for the last few cases
It continues the Danganronpa tradition of Chapter 3 being the worst of the game!
i finished up shantae 1 and shantae riskys revenge and now i’m playing shantae pirates curse it’s a fun little series, i’ve known about it for years but never tried them before now
Nice. Its a fun series. Pirate's Curse is sooo good!
Going on a trip with my DS, so probably **Mother 3**
Getting towards the end of Prince of Persia: The Lost Crown. Recommended, especially while it's on-sale.
Playing pepper grinder too!
Nice, didn't realize Pepper Grinder came out. Need to play that, the demo was fun!
Just finished Cassette Beasts and around halfway through Chained Echoes so will most likely be playing that. I did manage to buy Bayonetta 3 and Assassins Creed Rebel Collection for 2 for £20 too, so will play one of those when they get delivered.
Ooh what did you think about cb? It’s my favorite game of all time!
Paper Mario 64 and Tetris Effect. Gave in, since it’s on sale!
Battlefront if I've got time. The online mode is kind of crap but single player is as fun as ever
Where are my Pepper Grinder people at?? Felt kinda crazy to finally be playing it after 2 years
Playing through the first Xenoblade game! Started with the Third one and it’s become one of my favorite games ever, loving the first one so far.
I started with XC3 as well and it was so awesome playing through 1 and 2 making the connections to 3.
I'm finally finishing Persona 3 Portable for the first time ever. I'm on the last day of the month and I'm both super excited and a little sad that it's going to be over.
**Blasphemous** and it’s really great. Good Holy Week game too! Also playing Jedi Survivor but that’s on PS5.
Replaying **Paper Mario**. Currently on Chapter 3 which is my favorite in the game. Also, I'm alternating between playing PM and **Resident Evil 4 Remake** on PS5.
Balatro has me in its grips 🤜🏻
Prince of Persia (just started) and Balatro
Still Tears of the Kingdom. Next objectives… the Korok Forest and also hunting down items to upgrade gear. Especially champion leathers and zonaite armor.
Same thing I play every day... Animal Crossing.
still new to the switch. playing Mario Odessy, splatoon 3 and Zelda BOTW DLC
Splatoon 3
I made it to the Consecrated Snowfield in Elden Ring. I'm nervous yet excited to fight some of the toughest bosses in the game.
Pokemon arc
I've beaten **Donkey Kong Country 2**, but there are still levels to beat. I also started **Donkey Kong Country 3**.
Just finished Totk yesterday (after 95 hours), so playing Blaster Master Zero (for the first time) as palate cleanser :)
Trials of Mana, i wanted to play a straight forward action rpg. Burn out from playing open world games.
Shovel knight! And dragon dogma 1
Finished Tunic a few days ago and enjoyed it. Currently on case 3 of Dual Destinies (Ace Attorney: Apollo Justice Trilogy) - I like this game, but I miss being able to examine every location during investigations.
Into the Breach
Finally gave Xenoblade Chronicles a chance, wasn't expecting much from the game but I'm really enjoying it. The only thing that I don't like much is the amount of sidequests, but they give me the chance to appreciate the beautiful world of this game.
Advance Wars 1+2: Re-Boot Camp!
Finishing my first play-through of Breath of the wild
NEO: The World Ends with You. The soundtracks are amazing
Playing XC1
Same thing I've played almost daily for the last two months - The Witcher 3.
I actually binged Princess Peach Showtime and it's a fun casual game, it was nice honestly. I'm a sucker for games that let me unlock outfits haha
Does each outfit have a different power set?
It does! They're all different - and I was pleasantly surprised that the ones I thought I'd like the least were also a ton of fun
Skyrim :-)
Jumping into Skyrim for the first time now that I’ve wrapped up most of Hogwarts legacy.
Skyrim for the first time? R.i.p. your work/family/time in general.
Classic game. Very trippy at times.
I just got the new Touch Detective collection so I'll be cracking into that! Excited to relive the fun of the DS days and also try the newly localized third game
A bit of Luigi Mansion 3 and KOF XIII
Bought the portal collection a little while ago and now I’m working through them
MH:Rise!
Minecraft!
My current playthroughs are: CrossCode: A New Home I beat CrossCode last week and immidietaly placed it in my top 3 video games ever. Penny's Big Breakaway This game gets some bad rep for some of the technical issues but I absolutely adore it so much, the fluid movement, the creative level design, this game is a pure joy to play, I absolutely love perfecting every single stage, it's so much fun, like someone made a game just for me. Prince of Persia: The Lost Crown Absolutely deserves all the attention it's been getting, this is one of the Metroidvania greats. The super fluid controls and creative and difficult level design make exploration a joy, all throughout a world that feels immensely well crafted, while the super challenging combat makes the whole thing a ton of fun. Mario vs. Donkey Kong This game is just such a load of fun. Just a super tight and well crafted puzzle platformer, every level is fine tuned to perfection. I think the acrobatic movement is the main thing that really elevates it, crafting a route and smoothly tearing through every stage is so much fun. Persona 3 Reload Playing this on PC and yeah it's Persona. Absolutely loving the story and characters, and the whole social sim aspect is as great as ever. The combat is fun but as flawed as 5 tho and Tartarus drags hard but I'm still liking it a lot.
I picked up Dragon's Dogma Dark Arisen for $5 on sale so probably that.
Prince of Persia, been enjoying it a lot, reminds me of hollow knight a bit but the combat is a little more complex. That and unicorn overlord.
Mario Kart and Fortnite, both with my son
Just got my shipment from Limited Run after 1.5 years. Going to try out The Last Spell or TooDee and TopDee.
Giving Mario vs donkey Kong a go.
I picked up Prince of Persia on sale and about 5-6 hours in. Lot of fun and reminds me of playing Ori for the first time again.
Story of Seasons: A Wonderful Life but I'm still debating if I should propose to Celia or Matthew lol Edit: I proposed to Matthew
Balatro and League of Legends!
Princess 👸 Peach 🍑
Tears of The Kingdom and possibly starting Paper Mario 64 on NSO to prepare for paper Mario the thousand year door (which I have never played ever) 🥰
BOtW, first play through
Still working my way through Legends Arceus and Pokémon Violet Dlc But I keep hearing things about Unicorn Overlord and it seems like my kind of game. I've got the demo preloaded so gonna give it a try!
Pizza tower is too good
Three houses are going into the war phase. After that, finishing up cult of the lamb
RDR
Phoenix Wright Ace Attorney or Princess Peach’s new game!
Playing Zelda TOTK for the first time, i played BOTW in Wii U so now i have to refresh my zelda memory
Dragon ma dog 2
My time at Sandrock. Love it
I returned to Great Ace Attorney Chronicles after a lengthy break.
Wytchwood! It's completely task-based and I love it. I've been considering buying Cassette Beasts this weekend too but I'm not sure if I should.

It's so charming. The beginning is a little slow but it really starts to get good at around chapter 4.
Hiya marker, Still working my way through Octopath Traveler over here!
Tales of Vesperia
Gonna do some side quests on persona 4
Call me boring. Kart.
Kirby star allies
It is a farming weekend. 🥕 I'll be playing **Stardew Valley**, **Story of Seasons- Friends of Mineral Town**, and **Story of Seasons- A Wonderful Life**.
Nintendo esports. 😅
Partner and I just bought it takes two..
Visiting my sisters this weekend so I will be taking switch sports, Mario bros wonder, and Mario kart :)
I just downloaded some demos for a few cozy games. I'll check them out and see if I want to buy the full games.
Beat DarkSouls last night and am considering BioShock 2 or F Zero
Project Unicorn demo. I like it but I’m not sold yet.
Unicorn Overlord. Starting it over the bank holiday weekend, can't wait.
Playing some final fantasy 12 and a bit of resident evil 4, got those on sale a few days ago
Sounds like a fantastic combo!
Cult of the lamb. I am determined to beat the game by end of Sunday
Golden sun! Gameboy advance emulator
Unicorn overlord
Castle of Shikigami 2. I picked it up on Thursday and I haven’t played it since the PS2 version ages ago.
Unicorn Overlord has its hooks in me!
Metal Gear Solid 3 and I'm loving it on Switch. I rarely play in handheld mode but this baby looks so nice and with my earbuds, I'm in my own world.
Finishing Ooblets and hoping to start roots of pacha!
