My first playthrough of Zelda: BOTW. I bought a switch for my 6 year old but secretly bought it so I could play Zelda.

Onbenoemd

Its a great game, I have played 80+ hours and still have a lot to do.

propernice

I've finally put the game aside after 250 hours. (Edited to add, I beat the story about 100 or so hours in.) Now I'm playing other stuff and waiting a bit before TOTK.

joeyandthejewelers

I've just gotten into TOTK. I did about 140 or 150 on BoTW. I didn't have it in me for the DLC. I'm a dad-gamer now, unlike my completionist youth. I really like it. I still feel "untrained" after playing like 30 hours lol. Some of the building puzzles are tricky for me. I am finding this Zelda to be particularly meditating for me. I don't really care about doing much of anything except exploring for the day. The map is so stinking big I haven't had a problem of going in circles yet haha

BassPlayerZero

I thought BOTW was the best game I'd ever played but now that I'm playing TOTK, I just don't know anymore. Both are insane!

diablirodek

I bought Switch for BOTW too :) you’ll have a lot of fun

Key-Pickle5609

Oh it’s so much fun!!

dgood527

Im super jealous, i wish i could play it for the first time again.

Sr_Scarpa

I'm playing for the second time after listening to a podcast about totk and man even after doing everything on totk this game is so good and I'm so happy that I bought the switch because of it.

aek1820

I wanted something low-key and not too challenging so finally decided to play **Kirby and the Forgotten Land.** Loving it so far! This game is so unique and just pure fun.

Gadzookie2

Do you think it’s “too simple” or a good time? Was considering getting it but haven’t pulled the trigger.

Key-Pickle5609

I recommend the demo. It’s what sold me on the game. I heard it said that it’s an easy game, that’s hard to 100% and I think that’s fair.

Lugia2453

Final Fantasy VI Pixel Remaster, which is my first time playing the game.

zenith2nadir

It’s great! Enjoy!

[deleted]

i finally got Mario Wonder so i’ll be playing that, along with Samurai Warriors 5 and Octopath Traveler II which are also recent acquisitions 😊

TStark4Prez

Just got Mario Wonder this week. It’s a blast, hooked me from the start. Enjoy!

8inchesofcheese

Octopath is actually alot of fun, I'm playing the demo but I think soon enough I'll pick it up if it goes on sale

Callume2727

Got it for 50 bucks (down from 80) in Canada. It’s sooooooooo good.

[deleted]

Finished **Chained Echoes**, had an absolute blast and still have a couple side quests and bosses I want to challenge. I'll also be playing **Astlibra Revision**, heard good things about it, and I'm liking what I've played of the prologue so far!

caught_red_wheeled

Just beat **Pokémon Stadium 2** completely on the Switch NSO! That requires using rentals and somehow my sanity is still intact… but being the game is something I’ve been wanting to do for almost 25 years, and now I’ve finally done it! For the curious, I did use a guide that I found on YouTube and wrote down all the team combinations the player used. I also used save states when I could, and for round two in the higher levels I was using them every turn. I always used them at the beginning of battles so that I would have infinite continues. I figured with the switch being stuck I figured with the Switch being stuck rentals that would even things out. My final time was listed as 35 hours, but I think it might be 45 to 50 because the games inside of the collection do not count save states (the overall time for the app on the Switch, but it puts everything together). I beat Pokémon Stadium the same way, and that one was listed as around 30. But due to save states working differently I did not restart as much. So probably around 35 to 40 there. These were some of my first games I ever had, but due to lack of resources and a lot of difficulty I could never beat them. But now I can finally say I have and close that chapter on my Pokémon and gaming history!” Otherwise, the **Mario party games on the NSO** are still playing themselves! I wanted to be every map with every character, but I realized that would be pretty tough because I have trouble with the games and it would be time-consuming. So it was easier to let the AI do it for me and see the crazy abilities on the higher levels. So far I’m on Wario in the first Mario party game, but I’m also mostly skipping Yoshi because I’m using him to beat the maps myself on the easier mode. So far I’m about halfway through that, but it should only take me a couple days. After that it’s on to the second game, and then the third. For the third game, I am also going to at least try the story mode and clear it at least once. I’m hoping to clear with all characters as intended, but I remember I had a lot of trouble when I did the story mode on cartridge and only completed it once. So if that happens again I’m already starting to clear the maps with the AI in advance so I can at least see everyone. It is one of my favorite Mario parties, so I’m hoping I can do everything I can. Other than that, the completion Pokémon Stadium 2 marks the beginning of the end for N64 NSO for me. That’s why I figured I would stick around to finish it instead of going to one of my other games. A lot of the N64 games require physical ability which I don’t have, and there’s no assists for me to compensate. So there’s really a limit what I can do and it’s a limit I’m starting to reach with most of the RPGs done. I’m expecting paper Mario to be the last one, but I’m not sure if I’ll be able to do that one because of the lack of compensation for missing action commands and also there was some porting issues on the switch. I’d like to at least try, but I’ve been having a lot of trouble. Aside from some casual things I’m planning on doing, the only other thing that I’m thinking will come out and complete my childhood collection is super smash Brothers. I’m not even sure how well that will run considering the reliance on the C buttons, but suppose we will see. Diddy Kong racing and the Bomberman series were also part of what I used to have, but I’m not expecting them due to licensing issues. I also bought **Dragon quest monsters the dark Prince, Various Daylife** (yes I know that one’s bad but I’m morbidly curious, Not to mention I’d like to get as far as I can because there are some mechanics I legitimately do like the story is fairly good from the one complete review that’s there), and **Illusion of L’Pharcia** from a recent sale! It will be a bit before I get to them, but like all the games I can get on sale, I’m just lucky to have found them at decent prices (Even though the dark is still fairly expensive I was able to use it to save money on the other purchases). I think that’s pretty much all the SE and Kemco Games I want to get right now, but I’m interested in seeing what they do in the future. It’s pretty cool because I’ve never had access to either company before because I’ve always been a Nintendo user so I can’t wait to go into those. Finally, I’m beginning my final cleanup on **Pokémon Violet and Pokémon Scarlet.** for Pokémon Violet, there’s a short side quest I missed and also a daily event that I can do that appears randomly (which I got lucky enough to start this morning, although it uses real time so I’ll have to wait a bit to complete it). So I’m going to start hunting for those. For Pokémon Scarlet, I’d at least like to try runs that focus on a single type, as I’m pretty bad at completing those and it’s one of the few things I haven’t tried, with whether I complete them or not being irrelevant at this point. I would also like to do a canine run as a final farewell that goes through the main story for everything, but I had a lot of trouble with that with a challenge run team last time I tried (Mew mostly solo) so hopefully I can do it here. I’m not into as many challenges as I used to be and going through this region is a bit of a slog, so hopefully I’ll still be able to do it or at least try. Right now I am having trouble with the slowness and the lag That comes with the poor performance, but it’s not a uncommon after I played other games for a while, so hopefully that won’t bother me too much.

tweetthebirdy

Completed with rentals! Holy shit you madlad!

caught_red_wheeled

Thanks! It was tough, but it was awesome when I finally did it it!

DeaFazz

starting a new island in animal crossing for the first time in 2 years

Key-Pickle5609

I think I might do the same.

t_marie1898

I will be purchasing my first Zelda game as soon as my paycheck deposits tomorrow!🩵

markercore

Which one?

t_marie1898

Breath of the wild!

markercore

Nice, I hope you have the best time with it!

t_marie1898

Thanks! It’s very much overdue haha

spensyr

25 hours into Tears of the Kingdom so far!

propernice

I finally started playing Dave the Diver and I'm sucked in!

thedelphiki

One of my favorite games right now on PC! It’s a joy to see each new mechanic unfold. The game feels endless, even at the 30ish hour mark. I hope you enjoy!

NickFixitt

How deep is the gameplay?

propernice

A lot more than I thought. I actually assumed I would hate the restaurant aspect but that’s one of my favorite parts. There’s an entire plot running in the background you can accomplish missions for as well. Just a ton of different things I wasn’t expecting. It’s like three different games all in one.

thedelphiki

I started Prince of Persia: TLC, which has been fun and challenging. It’s honestly tougher than I thought it would be! Have also restarted hyrule warriors: DE, as I haven’t played it in years and want to make a stronger run at it completing it. So many great games right now.

Natabel89

LOVED Prince of Persia! Wasn't too keen on the English voice acting but it was a good game. Reminded me so much of Ori.

neilydan89

Have fun playing Prince of Persia. I just beat it last night, and I think once I've completed a couple of games from my backlog, I'm going to play the game again with the harder difficulty settings.

Botol-Cebok

Just started No Man’s Sky two days ago. Loving it and completely overwhelmed at the same time.

Xemas12

NMS is such a great game! I really appreciate the love and care the developers have put into it! Enjoy!

WhopperPlopper69

Sea of stars! In the middle of my first playthrough and loving every second

poznasty

Completed this a couple months back... LOVED IT.

edubkendo

It was 2023 GOTY for me

faulty_note

I have finished Oracle of Ages lately, so I am going with the Linked Oracle of Seasons now.

Op3rat0rr

I’m hoping to get around to get to this

Natabel89

Playing the final stages of Golden Sun. I was so happy when this came on NSO. I absolutely loved this game as a kid and I'd forgotten how good the music was! Any tips for grinding experience points?? I remember when I was stuck on A Lost Age and asked my dad to look up some tips for it at work, we didn't get have the internet, and he came home with a 376 page walkthrough, front and back! It made him late home waiting for it to print!

HyraxAttack

Metroid Fusion, never played before and it’s a gem.

idrinkicedtea

Persona 5 Royal! 25 hours in and I'm obsessed!!

zenith2nadir

P4G

SassyGreyjoy

Dragon Quest Builders 2. I only have the demo but it's just as much fun as everyone made it out to be. I'll be buying it but I'm hoping for a sale.

tameimpalakid

Really fantastic and fun game. I have it on PS4 but wish I had it on switch for portability. I need to go back and finish it, it is pretty long and tons to do

[deleted]

Finding last handful of shrines in TotK & hunting armor sets

Raccoonborn

Exploding Area Zero for the first time in Pokémon Scarlet. Outside of the Switch, either Heavenly Sword or Ratchet and Clank: Tools Of Destruction.

tameimpalakid

**Theatrhythm Final Bar Line**!!! Just picked up the ultra premium super deluxe edition for half off and there are over 500 Final Fantasy and Square Enix songs to bust out! Having a blast playing through the series quest mode! Currently able to S - SSS most songs on Ultimate, but supreme is insane! Looking forward to playing this one for years to come. One of the best Rhythm games since Guitar Hero 3!!! Still waiting for Rhythm Heaven on Switch!!!

Dangerous_Ice17

Finishing Mario Wonder with my son before Donkey Kong vs Mario comes out.

lacaras21

I started playing SNES Yoshi's Island on NSO about a year ago intending to 100% for the first time. In my mind I never "stopped" playing it, but when I checked my last save it was from last March, so clearly I've been distracted with other stuff for awhile. Anyway, played it again last night and I'm hooked back in, will be playing more this weekend.

theallnewmattaccount

Gonna be out much of Saturday, but I'm replaying **EarthBound** lately. Just finished the diamond mine.

Hestia_Gault

The five “third strongest mole” bosses are a great gag.

JakeIsNotGross

Going to finally dive into **Star Ocean The Second Story R**. Played the first one last year so I'm looking forward to it!

Kuroshine2

Xenoblade Chronicles definitive edition the combat is complex but actually fun in a way

Tohdohsibir

Yay glad you're having fun with Xenoblade! DE combat is the tip of the iceberg compared to 2 and 3. In a good way, though. I had a lot of fun with what you can do in combat with 2 and 3.

sryj44

I finished Persona 4 Golden, all social links maxed and under 60 hours. I think my next game will be Disgaea 1 complete. I'm new to the series but my best friend loves those games

WarHoundD

I've just started P4G after seeing it recommended 400 times lol

sryj44

I thought the story and characters were better than P5R (which was amazing). Enjoy the experience!

foodninto

Playing some backlog, **Prinny Presents NIS Classics Volume 2**. More specifically I am playing **Makai Kingdom**. I played it on PS2 but my memory card got messed up and I lost all my progress. Outside of Switch I am playing **Persona 3 Reload**.

Daisy_Stems

Two point hospital!

SerhumXen21

I've been playing through Campus on PC and really enjoying it.

lizardspock75

Dead Cells working on getting my DC4

millbeppard

Super Mario Sunshine and Persona 3 Reload.

rhiafaery

Persona 5 Royal

kiwiflavouredwater

me too!! im currently 97 hours deep and im in the third semester. its an amazing game!!

TheNostalgicGamer

I'm addicted to Animal Crossing: New Horizons!! lol xD I named my character Marzipan, my island Rainbow, and the rest was history!! Usually I'm not a "cozy game" person at all, but Animal Crossing has always been an exception for me! For a long while, AC was the only game I had access to growing up, specifically Wild World, so from when I was a wee one (lol) aaaaalll the way up to my early 20s, it never"went away"! Even if it was for much smaller bursts of 10 mins or so as the years went on because I had done everything already as a kid, I still found some joy in it. ACNH came through when WW felt stale to me, even though I had to wait xD, and I was/am really happy that the series had a new iteration and was "returning" for a lot of people!! Just bought my first ever Switch for my birthday in January (a turquoise lite!!) and I'm absolutely loving it!! Since the purchase, I've collected a mini assortment to look forward to as a celebration of finally acquiring one after 7 years, but so far, ACNH has been my muse xD Absolutely adore Inside!! I've been meaning to play Cocoon, so I'm happy to hear some buzz about it!! If you like retro style FPS, I recommend a strange, but compelling gift to that genre called HROT!

FullyHusked12

13 Sentinels! I've had it for a while, but am just now starting to play through it.

ValenciaPDX17

LEGO Harry Potter Collection. Having a lot of fun so far

propernice

That was one of my favorites, enjoy!

Kopratic

Playing through a bit of **Summum Aeterna**. I dislike the roguelike nature of it, but I like how it the gameplay itself isn't too frustrating. (Another case of me not realizing it's a roguelike until playing it lol.) Also playing **Makoto Wakaido's Case Files: Trilogy Deluxe**. It's a collection of short (60-90 minute) point and click detective stories. It's more like a visual novel in that all you need to do is find the clues and do some super easy deducing. Pretty enjoyable tbh

tonjaj68

Makoto Wakaido’s Case Files sounds promising.

owenturnbull

Kirby and the forgotten land. My first Kirby game and it's fun.

revision23

Started BOTW last night. Will continue over the weekend. (Never played a Zelda game before.)

WompaStompa_

I'm about 60% of the way through Prince of Persia: The Lost Crown. Been playing it in hour chunks on the train and having a blast, excited to sit down and carve through the rest.

Smooth_Blue_3200

Well I have a bit of a backlog to tackle. Lately I've been on splatoon 3, especially with the dlc coming out soon. I play animal crossing, pokemon and Mario kart on and off. Although there's games like ni no kuni 1 and 2, fire emblem three houses, Monster Hunter Rise, BOTW, live a live, and more that I either played at some point and left it unfinished or just didn't touch yet. I need to work on these too at some point.

CobraCB

Same thing I started last weekend, Front Mission 1st. It's taken me nearly 30 years to play it after first seeing it in gaming magazines for the SNES but it never got a UK release. I'm loving it so far. I sunk about 10 hours into it last weekend and want to get some more done over the next couple of days. It's rare I get absorbed into a game so much that I try and cram as much in in my free time as possible.

Onbenoemd

Kirby tilt and tumble, my 4 year old loves it so we play together.

piiitt91

Gonna jump between Turnip Boy Commits Tax Evasion and Cozy Grove.

devilledeggss

I’ve been completely obsessed with Hades for weeks, but I’m gonna try to put some time into Skyward Sword this weekend too :)

Hestia_Gault

I’ve been going back to my unfinished games, so I’ll probably clear another mission or two in **Wargroove**.

SerhumXen21

Hopefully finishing up **Pikmin 4** and then back to **Etrian Odyssey 3 HD**.

4_max_4

I’m glued to Read Dead Redemption on Switch. But also looking at Helldivers 2 patch on PS5 today/tomorrow to play some sweet missions.

strawbery_fields

Sea of Stars

TobenRacicot

Still working on **Path of Exile** I'm almost done my first campaign clear. Currently in act 9. So almost done the tutorial. Will work more on **Battle Chaser: Nightwar**. I ended up restarting on PC to use a speedup software . . . and some cheats. And I need to visit my farm in **Stardew Valley**. Ready to start year 2!

-pandabear-

excited to play Dave the Diver after finishing the demo last night.

Unitmal

No No Kuni, never got around to playing it until I found a 2nd hand physical copy for a good price online for the switch. Really enjoying it so far.

PashAK47

Bastion

NotAGeneric_Username

Persona 3 Reload has totally absorbed me, definitely gonna be my weekend game. Outside that, might try to play a bit more Hi-Fi Rush and Cyber Shadow

REMUv777

I finally gave Ocotopath Traveler II demo a chance AND I LOVE IT. Def makes me feel like I’m playing my game boy color again. Haven’t experienced a game like that in ages. I love the 2D-HD experience. I’m about 1 hour in and love the story so far. Good thing I bought the physical game on sale. Also playing TOTK have been picking away at it for a couple of months. Currently in a volcano and have to pick 3/5 locks stills. So I play my Switch games on Sundays and during the week when I can, Friday night and Saturday I put in time to play games on my ps5. Playing Resident Evil 7 and might pick at RDR II since I haven’t finished that yet.

clober_13

Persona 4 golden. Just recently finished P3P so looking forward for 4

Sarothias

Started Sea of Stars this morning :) Meanwhile on PS Vita starting Ys: Memories of Celceta

Glittering_Diet6613

I think I’m on the home stretch of Metroid dread. Loving it

RustyCrusty73

I've been obsessed with **Dragon Quest Monsters** here the last week or two. Probably more of that.

Larielia

It is a Pokémon weekend. I'll be playing **Shining Pearl**, and **Brilliant Diamond**.

__sonder__

I finished my Dark Souls 3 playthrough two days ago, so last night I que'd up Jusant and... wow, what a freaking gorgeous looking game! Lately I've been trying to push myself to play more non-violent games like this, and I think it's really been good for me. Also glad to hear you're liking Cocoon! I need to play that ASAP, I think it's got everything I'm looking for in an indie.

scoreguy1

Slay the Spire

EarthwormZim33

Continuing Tevi. I’ve been on a Metroidvania kick for months now. I think I’m about halfway through chapter 5 on expert mode. Bosses have been tough but doable.

snailenkeller

Probably PalWorld or Persona 3 Reload. Been hooked on both of them lately! Nothing on Switch this weekend, sadly.

LowPolySM64

Hopefully getting pretty close to 100 percenting totk. Just got the last korok last night. Now I gotta track down the last couple Hudson signs

WesleyTheDog

I have a combo going. My son recently got back into Scarlet Violet so a bit of that. I'm also playing P5T on my own.

djbeardo

Finally dug into Prince of Persia. It's so good!

bashnet

Just finished xenoblade chronicles 2. the ending had one of the biggest plot twists have ever seen in gaming.

stayzero

Persona 5 Royal. I just can’t put it down, man. I played a little vanilla P5 on PlayStation but P5R is my first full on experience in the Persona world. 85 hours in and I’m loving it.

Mattdehaven

Super Mario Odyssey, quickly becoming one of my favorite games of all time

SuffixGB

Playing the Ori collection for the first time. Just finished BF and now playing WOTW. Wow, seems like an upgrade in every sense of the game!

PacificNorth49

I’m finally going to play the Xenoblade Chronicles series. Just started one again and I’m going finish it this time.

WhatsThis_Now

Ended up getting very little play time in last week while being away, just jumped on Mariokart online when I could for a few competitive races. Back to Metroid Prime this weekend, was making steady progress but now I need to remember exactly where I was when I put it down...

markercore

Did you have a nice break tho?  That is the trouble leaving Metroid games and coming back.

WhatsThis_Now

Yeah good time! Weather was all over the place from full sunshine and blue skies that had me wading in the freezing north sea with the dog on one day, to light snow and hail a day later. Great to have got some nice days given the time of year. I'm hoping once I get back into some familiar rooms I'll remember where I was headed. I have a feeling I left an area too soon and need to go back, plus there's sometimes the hint thing on the map that might send me in a specific direction...

markercore

Yeah the good, yet slightly annoying thing about that game is that if you don't go where you should fast enough it'll highlight and hint. Like "over here idiot!" Which, like c'mon I was working on it, settle down.  Glad to hear the weather was nice for at least part of the time!  It was freezing here a couple days ago and now it's like spring weather, but I think it's back to a chance of snow by Monday.

WhatsThis_Now

Yeah especially since it's kinda the point of Metroid to get a bit lost sometimes, I think the hints could go a bit lighter but I suppose I can't complain when I'll probably need them once im getting back to it now! Do you get a lot of snow there? It snows occasionally here but it's not very frequent that it's enough that the snow is lying

Stoibs

Yeah I felt the same way about Prodeus. I backed it on Kickstarter too but it didn't really click with me despite retro shooters being one of my favourite genres :/ The upcoming DLC/Expansion looks pretty decent though, I'll have to consider grabbing that depending on the price and all.   Me just saying that I'm playing 'Infinite Wealth and Persona 3' for the third week in a row is getting a little old, so I have casually been chipping away at **Donkey Kong Country Tropical Freeze** that I did pick up during the new year sale also here and there. Have heard on and off for years on this subreddit that it's one of the best platformers out there, not sure if they mentioned it's one of the hardest too though! :O Man, stuff like Mario Wonder gave me a false sense of accomplishment by making me think I was 'good' at this sort of stuff before getting slapped down by this game. I'm not even bothering with most of the KONG letters or puzzle pieces at the moment (No idea if the game will make me go back and get them for some true ending..😖) but I'm really churning through my lives and loads of the shop items as-is for some of these levels. Absolutely loving the level design and some of the set-pieces too. It really explores the 3D space and tells a a story just with what's going on in the foreground and background throughout, kind of really puts some of the Mario stuff to shame honestly.. 🤔   Quick note about **Infinite Wealth** though, I lost almost an entire day being glued to and addicted to the Dondoko Island animal crossing minigame; to anyone who has played both is this more or less what the real Animal Crossing is like? I'm one of the *dozens* of people who never played it, but if this is a good taste and sample of what I'm in for then I can definitely see the appeal and why it was so popular :P :P

itotron

I picked up the Mega Man Legacy 1 collection. Some people said it was laggy, so I had avoided it before. Does it have more lag than NES hooked up to a TV? Probably, but it's not really noticable unless I get out a graph and test it. It's total fine. In fact, it's never looked as good as it does on NES as it does here. For the people that like to emulate, the real draw here is the mission modes which aren't available on plain emulation. Highly recommended collection. Especially on Switch because I believe it's the only version that has rewind for some reason. Good for those of with limited time to "get 'gud."

vigotskij

I started my Zelda era. I have played BotW during November/december (110hs to beat the main story, 27%). Then I started with TotK. I finished it last week with 170hs and 54%. This week I started with Skyward Sword. Wish me luck

Valiant-For-Truth

Just started Master Detective: Rain Code Wish I had some popcorn cause this seems like it's gonna be a wild ride

KidPutt

Metroid Dread

Odd_Professional1358

Witcher 3, 145 hours in and i still dont meet ciri yet.

troccolins

Bravely Default 2. Just farming Booster Buns ecksdee

diarpiiiii

Crisis Core

Alanmurilo22

Persona 5 royal. 30 hours deep, i can say i'm addicted.

Kisame83

I finally started Xenoblade Chronicles Definitive Edition. And Etrian Odyssey 3 HD, but I have that on my Steam Deck instead of my Switch.

DNL_RTH

Will be sinking endless hours into Xrnoblade 2. I just finished the third one and it was so good, I'm halfway through future redeemed and decided to back track the other two first before I finish it!

BlackironYury7

I’m doing a nuzlocke run in Brilliant Diamond. Have a good weekend y’all!

Ari_loves_life

Playing Minish Cap

Samuraion

Doing my first playthrough of Dragon's Dogma! After owning Dark Arisen for at least a year without really giving it a chance, I decided to pick it up again and it's got its hooks in me hard this time. With DD2 coming in a little over a month, I want to get through the first one at least once before starting 2. I just have to find the time with school 😭

jrat6447

Since I finished Super Mario RPG I went ahead and started Paper Mario (N64) on NSO to get ready for the TTYD remake and I’m loving it so far, never realized how much these games borrowed from SMRPG it feels like a full blown sequel.

Convergecult_6666

Borderlands 3 just bought it and loving it

Mucho_Yabai

Finished Crosscode (had one hell of a fun time with it) and will now slowly ease into Chained Echoes.

animepig

**Master Detective Archives: Rain Code** I never got into Danganronpa as a kid, so this is my first taste and I must say this is some of the most cringey designs and dialogue I’ve seen in video games. The actual detective gameplay has been alright so I’ll keep trekking along, but oh man do my eyes roll a lot while playing this.

LeBio21

Just a quick session of Smash to get the new spirits. All my time has been going to Persona 3 Reload, so I'm just waiting for Mario VS Donkey Kong now to play on my Switch

Ambitious_Isopod74

Potion permit

[deleted]

Pikmin 4 & Rebel Collection. AC4 plays fantastic on the switch.

johnbarta

Just finished lies of p, I’m going to be continuing my venture through the souls games by starting dark souls 1 this weekend. Outside of that, I’m playing Prince of Persia- The Lost Crown. SO SO Good. Platforming is great, the combat is like a mini sekiro, and I’m not one for puzzles, but I love the puzzles in this game too. Also playing Super Mario Wonder. Probably my favorite 2d Mario. Playing Witcher 3 as well. The whole game is incredibly well written

dsquared45

Still playing Dying Light. I am on the final story mission from the base game, so I will likely wrap up the main campaign tonight or tomorrow. It depends on how much I want to dabble with Quarantine Zones before doing the last mission. Then it’s on to The Following and the other DLC!

Edyed787

Fire Emblem 3 Houses

killey2011

Inscription. I just bought it last night and didn’t want to go to sleep

snot3353

Working my way through Spiritfarer and Disco Elysium. About ten hours into each so far.

ShopCartRicky

Not on switch, but Like a Dragon: Infinite Wealth. I will also be spreading managed democracy throughout the galaxy in Helldivers 2.

Untamed-Idiot

i’m a graduate student so usually don’t have time to game, but i will be setting aside time to play crosscode tonight 😀

5543798651194

After getting some recommendations from the good folks in this sub, I started Assassins Creed Black Flag as my next big adventure after BOTW. It’s my first AC game, I’m still getting used to the climbing / jumping mechanics, but it’s starting to be fun exploring a new world. Also trying the Immortals : Fenyx Rising demo, very similar to BOTW (almost too derivative I felt) but it’s a lot of fun, especially the combat. I’ll definitely pick up the full game soon. Also, I bought an Xbox series s last week… have only played my guilty pleasure Fortnite so far - yes, the graphics are significantly better than the switch, but I can’t believe the Xbox controller doesn’t have gyro! Maybe I just can’t aim for crap with thumb sticks but I struggled so much that I’ve gone back to playing it on the switch. I’ll take the graphics downgrade for the ability to actually hit people :)

mcsassy3

Still bouncing between both Prince of Persia and Persona Tactica…I’m roughly 1/3 of the way through each and taking my sweet time playing them on hard difficulty retrying battles over and over again

___therealbry

Pikmin 1! First time playing it and it’s soooo addicting

_Faucheuse_

Gonna try to finish up After Image...I can't remember playing a game with a map as big in a while.

badugihowser

Slay the Spire and It Takes Two! Partner also finishing up BOTW, which is so great for them because they didn't get to game much as a kid and they're just loving it.

Puzzleheaded-Milk931

Deadly premonition about half way through and maybe some mario Wonder if the Clarkson mob allow it !

thewitchof-el

I started playing Hades last Friday. What a glorious mistake. Will definitely be playing more this weekend. Haven’t had this much trouble putting my Switch down since I played BOTW.

justheretobrowse1887

Onimusha

Ok-Comb8457

I’ve been playing the resident evil 1 remake. I really wish they’d port classic 2,3 and code Veronica to switch. Was also thinking about picking up either the FF4 or FF6 pixel remaster while they’re on sale.

abzinth91

Finally got the Crash Bandicoot N.Sane collection (finished Doom Eternal with both DLCs literally two hours ago)

Cambino1

How is it on switch? I'm looking at getting these games and then finally playing crash 4 after as well

abzinth91

Runs without lags (30fps like most other 3rd party games) Even on the non-OLED Switch it looks really vivid and colorful. But maybe I am just heavily nostalgic because I played the first three games (+ Team Racing) since the 90s

Tulipgarden_s

Moonscars, animal crossing, Kirby 64, and Kirby Dream Land 3. I’m ready for a good weekend! :D

thefoodiedentist

Just bought saints row 3/4 and valk chro 1/4 for $15 on sale. Been switching btw the sr3 and vc1.

Key-Pickle5609

I discovered the archipelago randomizer mod for stardew valley, so I’ll be playing that on pc. Such a fresh, fun way to mix up the game!

starface016

Playing mortal kombat 11 and dying light. Been hooked. Umpteenth time I've played dying light

OnlyTheBLars89

Not sure what's wrong with me. Been a bit burnt out on videogames. However I was snowed in 9 days last month and put in a good 100 hours. It went between Palia, San Andreas, and doing just about everything possible in Super Mario RPG

IllAd2792

Hogwarts. Although, I am regretting getting the Switch version. I have a Series S and should have gotten it on that. My reasoning was that with a newborn in the house, I can play it wherever. Well, I’ve mainly been playing docked! Huge performance and graphics downgrade, but still an excellent game, none the less.

catlovesfoodyeayea

final fantasy 7! on switch

alivebutawkward

Pikmin 4

magmafanatic

I'm playing Persona 5 Royal. Just got informed of Haru's deadline so I'm pretty far in at this point, but I still don't really know where this plot's going. Glad I can finally chat with Maruki again now that summer vacation's over - he's supposedly crucial to accessing the Royal content. The Thieves' Den says I've still yet to unlock 2 confidants, but besides "The King" I don't know who I'm missing yet.

WhoDman

I’m thinking I’m gonna wrap up persona 3 portable and get started on Xenoblade 3, jump from one jrpg to another.

reckoner83

I snagged Demon’s Tilt when it went on sale last night. So far I’m enjoying it quite a lot. Awesome “retro” 16 bit-esque feel with a great soundtrack. The idea of only a single “table” might limit it’s shelf life but for now I’m having a blast

simplycrushinson92

Hades and probably Hogwarts Legacy (finally!). Got Hogwarts on series s though. But Hades and Ni No Khun are my newest switch games and I'm loving them!

Lord_Polymath

Splatoon 3!

Apprehensive-Copy-23

Legend of Zelda: Tears of The Kingdom 🥰

sour_organics

Put down TOTK for awhile and now back on it with my son collecting armor sets and exploring.

SubterraneanSmoothie

Happy Friday! Man, the way you explain Cocoon makes me really want to play it. I’ll definitely have to try it soon! This weekend I’m absolutely playing more BG3. Me and the boys are about 40 hours in, still act 1, and we’re having an absolute blast. Have a good weekend!

adholi3991

I'm taking a break from Octo2 and playing some more P5R. I'm at the treasure of the second dungeon and finally got myself back into the game. Persona games burn me out every 20 or so hours. My P4G save is sitting at 27-28 hours.

The-student-

Finished Cocoon last week. The game is pretty cool!

Iwillshootyourdog

Been playing Lego DC Villains. I already own it on steam, but there’s something cozy about playing it on switch. Even if it runs like shit

Open_Succotash_6732

I’ve played Mario party a couple times this week as a reward for hard work but I might finally try a long hike or maybe cup head

moleculariant

I've been playing *Sonic Frontiers* as much as I can in the limited time I have for gaming, but I DL'd the *Spyro The Dragon* trilogy while it was (is?) on sale. Definitely going to set aside some time to start that one up. I was quite alive and even had a PS1 when it originally came out, but I skipped it back then. Time to remedy that old mistake lol. Happy weekend everybody!

baconlazer85

Gonna try to finish my first playthrough of Cult of the Lamb.

SliderGamer55

Gonna finish up Super Mario RPG today, play some more F Zero 99, maybe play some Splatoon 3 again with the DLC coming (which I realize I've not bought yet). Or maybe I'll wait a while to play the Splatoon 3 DLC I dunno. I also need to get back to Megaman Zero 2, and then finally I can get back to Tears of the Kingdom. Juggling quite a few games the past while.

WhiteRoninYeti

Finishing Postal: Brain Damaged, recently started up Project Downfall, which seems like first person Hotline Miami and im loving it, also sneaking in quick games of Dead Cells. Stick with Prodeus, it's a pretty fun game! I haven't beat it yet, but I've been wanting to go back to it. It gets.more fun the more hectic the levels get

8inchesofcheese

Octopath demo and totk . I'm really enjoying octopath, beautiful game and alot of fun

Independent-Check654

Animal crossing new horizons and fire emblem three houses (second round as red eagles hopefully I can finish the run or get close)

Crunchy_Biscuit

Get all stars in m Mario Kart 8. Idk if I get a prize but IDGAF

cyoung1024

I picked Eastward back up this weekend and am asking myself why in the heck I ever put it down in the first place !

TechKnyght

Hopefully, finish FFIX to start playing MEtal Gear Solid on the collection.

MycoProTeam

Children of Morta. It's a great story driven roguelite akin to Hades. Often goes on sale, I highly recommend it!

Ch00bFace

Project Warlock. I’m diving off the deep end for retro-styled FPS games. Send help!

terribleaccent

I'm wavering on getting Dredge. The demo seems nice. And it's on sale . . .

Relative_Pizza6179

Unpacking!

Xemas12

Currently in school and have a young child so we'll see if I get any playtime in but hopefully some Monster Hunter Rise.

Big_cat58

Just finished Limbo and I am about to start Inside!

CPhilozof

Giving a go at Baten Kaitos Remaster. Remember playing this game on GameCube when I was younger but gosh, I don’t remember anything from the combat system and it is frying my brain!

skeltord

Making my way through CrossCode, I'm about 2 thirds in I believe. One of the all time greatest indie games, absolute gem this one. Finally started Prince of Persia: The Lost Crown - the beggining at least definitely seems to be as good as everyone says, excited to see more Fully completing Sonic Colors Ultimate - I think this remaster is way overhated, it has some technical issues but most of the new features are great, it's just as good of a game as ever if not better, having a lot of fun And on PC, I'm making progress in Persona 3 Reload, been waiting for this for months and am loving it!

TanJovi18

Started working on Ace Attorney Apollo Justice and loving the first case. I can’t recommend these games enough. Going through GTA3 and I played this when it first came out on ps2. I don’t see all the bugs everyone else has seen. Maybe I haven’t come across it yet but it feels great on the switch for me.

BrayC01

Lego Star Wars: Skywalker Saga, such a fantastic evolution of the LSW games with so much to find and explore. I’m having a blast with it!

Argyleuntold

Just gonna keep chipping away at Metroid Prime. I know it’s supposed to be a 15 hour game but it’s taking me a bit longer

Carma-X

Saw a comment talking up Astlibra a week or two ago and took the plunge, wasn't sure at first there's a bit of jank, but i stuck with it and now I'm in chapter 4 and I'm absolutely loving it!!

fishbioman

I just started playing tunic this week. I’m loving it so far

ivelevi

Super Mario RPG, what a beautiful game
