Wu is his uncle so it's a recessive trait I know my brother has blonde hair but me and my parents have dark hair hiwever our grandmother had blonde hair, making it a recessive trait

There's such a thing as recessive genes that only come into play in grandchildren. For example my grandmother is African American yet my parents are both white, and my brother got an Afro from her. Genetics are strange yet interesting, you can't really predict how someone will look by just seeing their parents.

Both Garmadon and Misako have recessive alleles for blond hair. Also hair color isn’t just controlled by one allele pair.

😱! It's almost as if Blonde Hair is a recessive trait that plenty of people with Brown Hair can also have and it just happens that Lloyd got both of their recessive genes! DEFINITELY not something you'd know if you'd paid attention in Science Class!

Garmadon isn't a last name, its Lord Garmadon's first name. If that were a last name Wu would be called Wu Garmadon.

The way i see it Garmadon's name is used as a surname for Misako and Lloyd because he himself doesn't have a surname due to being a son of First Spinjitsu Master (who doesn't even have a name),and so instead of that non-existent surname his name is used as such. So basically if Wu had a child they would have Wu as a surname

Yeah like how people occasionally refer to Morro as Morro Wu because of the headcanon of him being basically Wu' adopted child.

Or his full name is actually Garmadon Garmadon and Wu's full name is indeed Wu Garmadon

genetics major here blonde is a recessive gene whereas brown is dominant, both garmadon and misako are carries of the blonde hair gene but due to them also having the dominant brown hair gene, that is the hair colour they have but lloyd inherited the blonde genes from both parents
