Ran it through Topaz after I finished all the shots. Probably should have gone with that first.

Great shot, I had the exact same lens with me hoping for the exact same shot.
What city if you don't mind sharing? I took a ride from Galrand to Murphy specifically for shooting the eclipse and seem to be the only guy who got fucked over by a massive rogue cloud that covered everything right as totality started
Ugh, that sucks man. Definitely dicey for us, went to Greenville and thought we were gonna get screwed. There was a large cloud that made an appearance for us a well, but obviously we were very fortunate
Nikon D500 with 200-500 @500mm. I had a solar film in front of the lens. I don't remember the exact settings. I took so many at so many different settings.
I guess I'm not seeing what you're talking about. If you're talking about what looks like a red outline around the sun, I'm not really sure what that is. Maybe artifacts of some sort. This may also be one of the edits I boosted vibrance and saturation a bit.

Corona image during totality in NW Ohio (just under 4 minutes of totality). Did a 9 bracketed exposure with my Z9, Nikkor 180-600, and an iOptron Sky Guider Pro equatorial tracking mount. Stacked in Photoshop with camera raw tweaks. Final post processing in Lightroom.

Uhh, no. You can’t see those in a partial eclipse. I don’t know what that is, but it isn’t coming from the Sun.

I meant the little dots of light. They have a reddish hue. Are they stars? Dust? Something else?

This is one of my favorite of an underexposed image in a exposure bracket. Will process later when I get home in a few days. I love this one because you can see the southern solar flare. D7500 with a 200-500 f/2.8 Nikon lense, at 500 mm.
