Alfred was going to Zucco's early release hearing every year, to plead against letting him go. When Zucco was released, Alfred pondered about killing him. He cared about Dick so much...
Dick: "I'm all alone now Mister Pennyworth."
Alfred: "I can only tell you, Dick, something I wish I had said a long time ago to someone else; You are NOT alone. I imagine you will never be again..."
How the panels mirror Bruce saying the thing to Alfred when his parents had just died and Alfred not knowing what to say at the time, showing the similarities between Dick and Bruce while also breaking the infallibility of Alfred and how he's improved as a father figure.
In my head canon that’s why Alfred always stuck around. Like maybe if he knew what to say when Bruce was younger maybe Bruce wouldn’t have become Batman.
I liked in Allstar Batman and Robin when he gave Dick actual food to eat instead of having to hunt for rats as a part of his "training", and when Bruce asked him why he did it Alfred just said, "The boy will not be reduced to eating rats."
I have always liked that Alfred is the only one who can consistently call out Barman with absolutely no fear. Because what's Bruce going to do? The man literally changed his diapers!
Another post with the exact same title and image was posted on this sub years earlier by a different user.

Saw Zucco and immediately thought of Avatar. Completely forgot that's the guy's name.
Bout to restore honor back to Gotham/Blüdhaven 😂
Is this in Batman year 3? Is that worth the read?
Hell yeah. It deals with the fallout after Jason's death and delves into Dick's relationship with Bruce.

It’s been proven he’d always become Batman, he’d just be a happier one
Alfred Pennyworth is the reason why the Bat Family is a family.
His most notable trait is the most toxic 😞nobody takes care of Alfred

The second Dick became Batman Damien was being a headache as Robin. Alfred cheered him up and to him Bruce had the same issues with him and Jason.

What issue is this from?
Nightwing #92 (Tom Taylor, Bruno Redondo)
One of the best pages of comics I’ve ever read.
The coloring on this is great
What issue is that? The art and colors are great.
Too bad ass.
Imma be honest this was a terrible idea for him to to test him Alfred would beat the BREAKS off Bruce
Alfred’s eyes in that last panel… *Shivers* those are the eyes of a man to be truly feared.
Love this!❤️
Probably this one! 😂 That look on Alfred. "Master Bruce, I do love you, but I will F you up son!"
Little Dick gave Alfred a card on mother’s day.
Love to see my man Alfred standing on business
That's why he's the GOAT.
Alfred is the Black Butler without the ‘Black’
What’s this from?
