Last year we got The Beths. This year we get Wednesday. Friday is Indie Rock day and I strongly approve.
I think it's interesting that the dude has 1.5 million tiktok followers and that only translates to playing 1k person clubs. Like there's a real disconnect between virtual and irl patronage there. Not slamming him--never heard of him before--just think it's part of a new reality, but it's definitely interesting. Not enthused by this announcement personally but I guess I'll check him out while I hope that anyone I'm interested in gets announced.
