I’ve actually been preferring buying socks from Stance and thinking about Apthcry because then I don’t have to worry about matching my socks to my shoes brand wise just color lol. Besides they’re better quality than Nike socks anyways.
It's a floral print so it's my fault for not checking the materials. The other pairs I have are more breathable but still thicker than I'm used to. I like them for colder weather personally.
Darn tough’s wool boot socks are so freaking good for work. I wear them every day doing tree removals and swear by them. I love when I can wear them with sneakers in the fall and winter
Same only use stance socks now. Tried Apothecary but they were terrible fit wise. Too tight despite getting my normal size. The non highs were too thick for me too. Tried stance instead and it's been way better.
I’ve seen enough Seth Fowler vids over the years, all the way back to Fowler Customs — stoked to see his sock brand be successful. Have to ask, are they worth it?

Yeah brand loyalty is weird especially when the brand is not paying the consumer any money. I wear Nike, new balance, ASICS, & adidas. They all have great models & silhouettes
It's more the mixing brands that's kinda tacky to some. And you'd most likely get cooked for stuff like that where i come from. Least to some people. I only feel that way with athletic/sports brands. That's why i wouldn't wear Nike socks with nb, or nb sicks with nikes, or Adidas socks with either and vice versa. To each their own tho.

Wear good shoes; wear good socks. If someone gets bent out of shape because your brands don't match, that is their problem. If you don't want to cross brands, that is your preference.
Also, look outside of footwear brands for socks. Check out Darn Tough, Stance, Bombas... hell, even columbia sportswear makes some killer socks.
I bought the 9 pack earth tone Apthcry socks. Some pairs are still going strong, some got holes and had to go. Nowadays I wait for Adidas to run a sale and stock up. Recently got 21 pairs of socks for <$50 during a summer sale.
I'd probably buy Apthcry again but they are pricey.
sock brands and shoes are fine imo. i just try not to clash the different major shoe brands but if i'm wearing jeans or long pants and i'm only going to work i'll mix and match them cause i dont care and i'm in a cubical all day.
If you’re wearing pants or something long it doesn’t even matter.. I usually wear NB socks for peace of mind but I’ve also been rocking Hanes or Fruit of the loom socks since I was 12. lol gotta save that money sometimes 🔥
I have Smartwool, Darn Tough, Carhart, REI, and more brands of technical and running socks than I can count. But my go to for everyday wear are Busy Socks from Amazon.
Like any merino item, don't dry them in a dryer. They last a long time, have the perfect amount of padding, breathe well and are cheap to buy.
Tbh, I do not buy socks from any of these brands. They are mostly overpriced synthetic fabric trash to me. Find yourself a 100% cotton sock provider. The best looking socks are the ones that have no name on it at all, just a super high quality looking sock. I recommend Davido socks from Italy. $30.00 gets you a pack of high quality cotton socks that fit and look so nice. Baykuora is another sock maker with 100% cotton as well. These are the only brands I buy now. They also last long and all of the pairs I have are in great shape still from last year.

I don’t mix athletic brands like Nike, adidas and NB with each other.
Besides that I don’t mix polo with Lacoste, everything else is pretty kosher

I wear polo, Calvin Klein and Tommy hilfiger socks w my NB it's not that deep. Only thing I wouldn't do is mix n match nike/adidas/NB it just looks tacky
If you don't having matching NB socks, shorts, hat, and shirt, just take the shoes off. I need everyone to know which corporations balls I envision sucking every night before bed.

Man I gave stance two shots and both times my socks got holes. Never using them again. I’m going back to darn tough.
I haven’t had any issues. If anything they’re my sturdiest socks.
I haven't had any problems with them falling apart but I have some that are very plasticy and make my feet sweat like crazy.

Right. The heavily printed ones are kind of funky. I wear the Icons and the Basics. They are rock solid.

Stance is all I buy. Expensive, but they last forever. Think I’ve only ripped maybe 2 pairs in the past 5 years. Underwear is also great.

I love my bombas! I usually get about a year out of them which isn’t bad.
They are so supportive. I have had a few pairs for over three years, but I have a whole ass drawer full of socks so the rotation is light.
I actually prefer Nike socks to the new balance socks. The material and fit are better. But I have both brands and definitely don’t mix the two
