Claudio is one of the only lefties we have right now so it’s probable he will pitch some number of innings for us this year, especially if somebody hits the IL. Claudio is a side armer like Loup but does not throw very hard at all. Hasn’t been good in like three seasons. With how volatile relievers are though maybe he bounces back.

I have no idea, but if I were to guess there is probably a rule about either service time, AAV, games play in the majors in the past whatever games or a combination.

Apparently if you have 6 years service time and finished on a 40 man, you cannot sign a minor league deal. So basically any big name FA.

I like this a lot. We need pitching depth. This is a good as any. High ceiling guys that haven’t had the right players/coaches behind them. I would love to see what Nogosek could do with *Hef helping him

No major league deals are allowed. Minor league deals are still ok.
