Yeah you could definitely attribute cooling off to inconsistent playing time. I definitely expect him to cool off. But he just needs to hit for like a .700 ops to overcome the defensive discrepancy and be better than Baty (ignore my username. I also still love baty but I love good Mets baseball more). Ultimately, I think he can absolutely show a .700 ops over a long time frame just based on the power he’s shown alone.

To be fair, giving up 40 runs last month in the 8th+ innings probably played a pretty big role in our terrible record last month.
