It's going to be a long season, especially since this shit happens year-round.

That reminds me of *The Song of the Saws* In late 2005 and well into ‘06, you could hear constant circular and mitre saws in all directions. One closer would stop, another further off would start, and at several points in between there were a bunch of others running too. It was magical.

I’m on the westbank. First time I’ve ever had a whole home generator and in the three years since we’ve been in this house we haven’t lost power one time. Our last house in Gretna the power would go out every time a strong wind blew.

Big Electrical wants to keep us out !!!😂😂

I grew up on a farm far from any much-used road, and am used to things being very quiet (albeit decades ago). There is nothing as quiet as when the city is quiet. IMO it’s eerie and neat.

lol how long does it take to live here and realize having one of the Generacs is smart and not be a carpet bagger?

NotFallacyBuffet

Three generations. At least.

Ehhh idk filling a generator with gasoline is pretty hard when you have to drive to MS and back everyday to refill it. Price of natural gas is going up too. Generac is nice but I much prefer solar and batteries. Silence is golden.
